When your auto manufacturer’s warranty is about to run out or has run out, you’re responsible for any mechanical breakdowns your vehicle incurs. That can lead to thousands of dollars in auto repairs. Endurance can shield you from those high costs with a vehicle protection plan that will pay the mechanic directly for parts and labor.

Poor and deceptive warranty coverage

This company does not communicate effectively, they are quick to deny claims, and their inspectors denied my claim citing the incorrect reason as to why my engine failed. They blamed my failure on excessive carbaon build up, but that was not the issue. carbon build up is a bi-product of your engine's use over time. the catbon build up was not excessive. The mechanic stated that the failure came from coolant getting into cylinder 7 of my engine. I have email documents supporting my claim in this matter. Endurance said that they will not change their decision and it was final. During the process of trying to get approval, Their inspector was not transparent and never communicated with me at all. They just told the mechanic shop weather my claim was approved or rejected. They made me approve an engine tear down which they did not plan to cover if they found anything wrong in which they claimed it was and left me with the expense to pay. it seemed like they just kept putting me through hoops. Also, in the beginning of the paper work phase they were trying to deny my claim stating i never got three oil changes when I have a rceipt for an oil pan gasket being replaced and the mechnic showed i had an oil change. This company is not a great company. i really believe that they are scammers who just take money and disappear. i canceled my contract and currently waiting for my refund check to arrive in the mail. Let's see how this goes and I'm not saying this with an optimistic tone either!!!!!!!

This company is a SCAM.

This company is a SCAM! Do not pay them one cent! You are or will be simply giving away your money! Save your money for repairs so that you'll have a fund to use when you need repairs. Endurance is going to go to extreme lengths to avoid paying for the repairs.

They even have 30 minute commercials on local non-cable stations here that appear to target seniors and people who think that Endurance will fulfill their promises. If they were legitimate and creditable, why such long advertisements? Now if you pay them monthly for 10 years-they might pay to replace a AC hose-or something minor. The commercials are paid actors. The contract is twenty (20) pages long and full of loopholes to allow them to deny your claim.

Even worst, Endurance has a "third-party" company which handles their financial affairs. This third world company is called "Line 5". Really?

You give your money to a company whose brand ambassador/spokesperson/celebrity endorser is named "Ludacris". Seriously? Are you crazy? Lol!

Do not be stupid!

Claim denied after inspection and days of waiting

Very disappointed with my experience with Endurance.

I purchased a Secure Plus vehicle service contract for my 2014 Subaru Impreza because I wanted protection in case I experienced a major mechanical failure. When my vehicle developed serious problems, I had it towed to a repair facility that accepts Endurance.

The shop went through Endurance’s claim process, an inspector was eventually sent to examine the vehicle and after days of waiting I had to call Endurance myself to find out that the claim had already been denied.

Endurance told me the denial was because their inspector found incorrect fluid in the transmission and cited Exclusion C of my contract. I was also told that the A/C evacuation and recharge was not covered. When I asked for the denial and contract provision in writing, I was told Endurance does not provide a written denial letter and that the denial is only given verbally.

What frustrates me most is that I bought this coverage specifically to protect myself from a major repair bill and when I finally needed it, I was left with a potentially very expensive vehicle problem and no coverage.

The customer service representatives I personally spoke with were polite, so my complaint is not with the individual employees. My issue is with the claim experience, the delay in getting a decision, the denial itself and the fact that I could not obtain a written denial explaining the decision.

Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that anyone considering Endurance read every exclusion in the contract carefully and understand exactly what can cause a claim to be denied before purchasing coverage.

Run for Away!

I bought the diamond plan. Six months later I had my first claim. They refused to pay for my repair but instead sent used, rusty, sand filled parts that were damaged to repair my range rover (after waiting for 3.5 weeks)! The mechanic refused to install the parts and I cancelled the warranty. Now they won't respond to emails (Managers) and block every call inquiring about my refund (can't get past "it takes 6-8 weeks") Won't transfer me to anyone. Horrible experience! Run far away! Feels like fake reviews.

The commercial is a COMPLETE LIE

The commercial is a COMPLETE LIE. Every time we took our Infinity to a shop, we had to pay money because they would not cover the whole bill. So they told us they have mechanics that they deal with. Ok... so we took the suv to the mechanics they deal with. NOW its when the last time you had it service and where are the receipts. Gave them what we had and that was not good enough. So now we have ALSTATE and never had a question or problem with servicing any of our cars.

I am extremely disappointed with this company

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Endurance Warranty, particularly the handling of my claim and the lack of follow through from their dispute resolution department.

I filed a claim concerning the failed turbos on my 2014 Mercedes Benz CLS550. Endurance denied the claim, stating that the problem was preexisting. I strongly disagree with that determination. The dealership mechanic provided information indicating that the vehicle's turbos were in good working condition with no known issues. In addition, the ASE certified mechanic who diagnosed the failure stated that the turbo turbines had failed and that the failure was not the result of mistreatment of the engine.

After the denial, I was contacted by Danielle from Endurance's dispute resolution department. Danielle indicated that Endurance would provide monetary assistance to help offset the cost of the turbo repair and that she would provide me with a list of repair shops that could assist me.

Unfortunately, the promised assistance never materialized. I did not receive the monetary assistance that was discussed, and my subsequent message requesting follow up has gone unanswered.

What makes this especially frustrating is that I did not initiate the offer of monetary assistance. Endurance contacted me and offered it as a way to help resolve the dispute. If a company representative tells a customer that assistance will be provided, the company should honor that commitment or explain in writing why it will not.

My concern is no longer limited to the original claim denial. I am also disappointed by Endurance's lack of follow through and communication. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Endurance Warranty. I would be willing to update this review if Endurance contacts me, fairly reviews the mechanical evidence, and follows through on the assistance that was discussed.

They’ll rob you, by selling you the wrong policy

I had endurance for 3 years paying $160.00 a month, then I renewed my contract to another 3 years, the lady offered unlimited miles, for $266.00 dollars a month. which seemed great for me, I work for uber and Lyft in nyc. 2 months after the renewal, they refused to do the repairs, on my car , because the policy that had, was not for cars being used for , for hire vehicles .When I did the renewal, I told the lady what I do for a living and I had commercial insurance before. She forgot to add it, which was only $300 dollars more, for the duration of the contract. After they refused to pay for the repairs, they said she was new and sold me the wrong policy. I canceled the contract, with a notarized letter, which they provided and say that they’ll send the money, that I had pay so far for the contract. after 5 months they told me over the phone, that I didn’t qualify for reimbursement.without any explanation. after a month I spoke with them and say they will send an explanation letter. This ridiculous, they sold me the wrong policy, and now I lost $600.00 to them . This is the same as robbing.

I recently purchased a new GMC Sierra

I recently purchased a new GMC Sierra. I called for a quote to compare with the dealer. The price was the same, but the customer experience was completely different.

Although the price was the same, I have to say that the most important factor in choosing Endurance was the service and professionalism I received from my representative, Erica. She was knowledgeable, professional, articulate and thorough. She explained the contract very well and her experience as a previous service writer gave her excellent crdibility.

I expect that I will be very satisfied with Endurance if Erica is emblematic of their customer committment.

I was so impressed with Erica that I agreed to have her give me a quote on my wife's car that was over 15 years old. What Endurance offered, as Erica explained it, was a great value.

I am very glad I gave Endurance a call and allowed them to offer a coverage plan for my new truck as well as my wife's car. I am extremely pleased with the service I received from my representative, Erica.

Endurance would not cover the repairs…

Endurance would not cover the repairs needed on our vehicle. We paid for the coverage for months. First, they wanted a 7 day mileage confirmation, then copies of records from our dealership, then claimed it was pre existing. Finally, stating that they would not pay. We have been with Endurance for almost 4 months. When we signed up the vehicle was in great condition. No problems, but had over 100,000 miles. Obviously, we signed up because our other coverage with the dealer had expired and the mileage was getting high. They had no problem signing us up! In the end, they refused to pay because they say it was a pre existing issue. Really? A vehicle with a 100,000 miles on it will probably have something wrong with it that hasn’t showed itself yet! -Common sense! That’s why you get insurance. Even the car dealership said they don’t understand why it was not covered by Endurance.

So, as a result, we spoke with a lawyer who explained what to do. As a result, we’ve taken all of our documents and submitted them to The Insurance Consumer Complaints Bureau in MD. They will review the case, contact Endurance on our behalf, and force them to pay for the coverage of the repairs.

My recommendation is to stay far away from Endurance Extended Warrentee Insurance for vehicles. The company is unreliable and the management commits fraud! They were rude and had no common sense. They lied about the coverage and tried to manipulate the situation to keep from having to cover our repairs of close to $5,000.

If you have a similar issue with them you can contact a lawyer and/or call your State’s Insurance Protection Agency for assistance.
