Sklum used to have good designs
Sklum used to have good designs, now they just have good photography.
They’re essentially a drop shipping company, importing the cheapest quality products from Chinese factories.
The desk I ordered came with legs that were wonky and a set of screws that were torn out of the MDF, taking the chunks of particle board with them, so impossible to assemble even if it had been straight. It also looked very ugly and cheap.
The returns process is deliberately onerous, designed to make you give up because it’s so confusing, for example in the Netherlands they ask you for the Terms of Use, whatever that is, and then ask you to upload images of the shipping labels from the package you received (as if they need that when they have your order number) and the photo upload fails every time although your files are compliant.
Really disgusting malpractice and non-existent quality control. I hope they get caught for digital service standard violations and go out of business.
