Online George order returns are appalling service. Refunds are not processed and always have to call customer service and waste time on the phone. I returned items via the Armadale store 2 weeks ago and still no refund. The same day I made returns to New Look, Tu at Sainsbury’s, Next and Very and all refunds received within a few days. I love George clothing but the hassle getting refunded puts me off buying online again.

Spent under £150 on clothing, including school uniform, which was stolen from the Rayleigh store unhappy when you are registered disabled would not recommend this when on the phone is blaming the store and the stores they blaming the online and how did they know what was in the Parcel?

every single time I return something bought online from asda it goes wrong, either the wrong item is refunded or nothing at all. I've spent more time on the phone to customer services than most of my friends, I've called them so often. I'm talking at least 20 times this year, it's impossible for the shop to be that inept, must be some sort of scam going on. Last time I rang I asked how to escalate it as a formal complaint and they said they didn't know!

We ordered a tent twice for click and collect. Both registered as on their way, but never arrived.
In the end we ordered one to our door which registered as delayed but arrived on time!
It's pretty hopeless and communication is dreadful.

Have had to chase multiple refunds that were not processed after returning George clothing that were bought online. After speaking with customer service, refunds were still not processed as promised and had to chase again multiple times. When asked to escalate and log a complaint after the 3rd time of this happening, I was told this would be done and someone would be in touch but no one has ever responded to the complaint. One customer agent said they would send me a £5 gift voucher as an apology but this voucher didn’t work.

I travelled to store (which is not close to home), collected my package and upon returning home discovered a sheet covered in pumpkins rather than the blue one I had ordered. The only option to discuss was via phone (no email or chat option) and I got through to a patronising woman who would not listen and kept using the wrong name. I asked to speak to a supervisor at least four times before she would listen but it seems that their procedure for such situations is that I should put it right rather than them doing anything at all to make it good. Utterly appalling customer service, very disappointing.

Bought a Henry Hoover with delivery date of last Friday. Still no show and it’s now Monday. Went to my local asda and they were unable to help. One of the staff starting throwing a hissy fit because of all the people wanting to know where there orders are, which is super unprofessional. There was even the same model of Hoover in store which I asked if I could have and was told no. Absolute joke. Will not be ordering from here again.

Always check your online returns ... I returned 8 items but have only received a refund confirmation for 7 items. This happens often when you return multiple items. They send a refund confirmation of each item every 30 mins which is bizarre so you end up with each item returned separately. I wouldn't mind about that if they actually got it right. Out of pocket now for an item I returned.

Well George you have lost a customer, when I order never get a QR code or any notice to go collect my items have to log in myself to check, I get there always an issue because the number on the order never matches up. Always need to give out order number, email full name before I can even get my order. Never again it’s not worth it

What morons package two mugs together in a massive box. . . What did they think would happen?

Contacted customer services, couldn't get replacements only a refund.

Also, in the same order, but different box, brought a dining set using a voucher to get 20% off

That arrived broken as well.

Unlike other reviewers , we were pleased with Asda George products and service, BUT why does the website now make you change your password EVERY TIME you log on. ?

Do not use. Took five phone calls and three months for them to issue a refund for an item I never received.

I placed an online order for Click & Collect, but the order never arrived.

When I visited the store, I was told that delivery issues with Evri were a regular occurrence and advised to wait another 24 hours before contacting Customer Services.

I then contacted Customer Services, where the advisor was extremely rude, responding with one word questions and answers. I also struggled to understand him due to a language barrier. When I explained that I did not feel this was an acceptable standard of customer service, I was simply told that my order had been cancelled and a refund issued before he hung up the phone.

I heard nothing further for five days. Order was still showing in transit. I then emailed the generic Customer Services address and again received no response. I had to call again, only to have another male advisor answer, tell me he would look into the issue, and then hang up the phone.

I called back yet again, and thankfully a friendly female advisor finally resolved the issue.However, I was then told that the refund process is lengthy and that I should have contacted them sooner. I politely explained that I had made numerous attempts to contact them already.

The whole experience was incredibly frustrating and involved repeated failed attempts to get help. The lack of communication and the attitude of some of the Customer Services advisors were completely unacceptable. I would seriously think twice before ordering again

Returned a faulty kettle which had a 2 year warranty. After two ignored emails to customer services, I went into the store. I got a receipt for the refund and was told it would appear in my account but it has been 2 months and still haven't received my refund. I have since emailed once and phoned up twice and still no success.

Horrendous customer service. 5 school uniform items missing from an online order delivered to my home despite the parcel note stating all items were packeged. 4 telephone calls, 2 emails and still no items dispatached, no refunds and no correspondence. They tried to blame Evri when the error is with them. Its costing parents enough to purchase uniform and Asda George are willingly leaving parents/families out of pocket due to their terrible service. Ill keep trying but looking at the reviews Im losing hope.

Terrible website.. goes into wait or close options 5 minutes in. Disgrace .. disgusting... get together everyone on social media. Call it out.. not good enough!!!!! I am. Who is running the website

The most utterly incompetent company I've ever tried to purchase anything from.
Ordered a garden table with 4 chairs and so far each attempt to deliver has had either the chairs or the table missing from the order. They finally delivered 4 chairs and a trampoline after a week of phone calls to customer services.
They've promised to collect the trampoline and dispatch the right goods, however after all the aggro and issues so far I'm not exactly confident that's going to happen - I get the impression the people on the end of the phone are finding all the problems amusing.
Not going to bother with Asda or George again.

Asda said they lost the item in transit. Sale item bought 5 days ago and tracking said its on its way. All they offered was a refund. Total waste of time contacting customer services every day. Told each time the item was being delivered to store. Never arrived. The store was not going to sell us the item in the shop as the price difference. They must resolve their stock control system or crack down on the stolen stock. Not very good with the apology.
I won't use them again.
