Bonjour, un 23 septembre inoubliable . Nous avons quitté Tokyo dans un Toyota Alphard super confortable
pour la journée avec un guide exceptionnel nommé Lucas , d’une gentillesse , d’une disponibilité et d’un professionnalisme au top ! Il a grandement participé à la réussite de cette journée . La découverte de la région d’Hakone , son lac avec pour toile de fond le mont Fuji ,son temple, l’expérience d’un onsen en pleine nature agrémenté d’un restaurant japonais dans la plus pure tradition , un régal . Yoshihama, une vue panoramique sur le mont Fuji et toute la région d’Hakone , magnifique . Nicole et Philippe .

Wir haben eine private Tour mit Havenjapan nach Hakone unternommen. Unser Guide Evan hat uns über den Tag perfekt und umfassend geführt. Evan hat uns viele kulturelle und geschichtliche Hintergründe sehr gut erläutert und uns zu den wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten gebracht. Es war ein tolles Erlebnis, unser Guide Evan hat alles genial gemacht!

Our daytrip to Hakone was excellent from start to finish. Clear and friendly communication with the agency before the trip and on the day, our driver Evan was knowledgeable and very friendly - he even kept our teenagers engaged throughout the day which is not an easy feat. :) Would highly recommend

Elie was very accommodating when I contacted him with concern about the weather. He allowed us to change our booking to a day when the weather was predicted to be better. Our guide, Lenny was the perfect one for us. He had a lot in common with members of our group and the conversation during the drive to Hakone was great! He was also a safe driver, smoothly navigating the tight, winding roads. He gave us restaurant and shopping suggestions from a local’s perspective. He gave us flexibility to choose what we wanted to do. We started the day by getting a cloudy view of Mount Fuiji. Since it was a cloudy, rainy day, we didn’t bother trying to go get a closer view: visiting a beautiful shrine/temple Lenny also took us to a traditional tea house where we tried mochi snacks and different beverages. For the final stop, we were all a bit apprehensive about going to an onsen for the first time, so he gave us an alternative. However he said that no one had ever said they regretted experiencing the onsen. We ultimately decided to try it and he was right! We didn’t regret going. The food that we ate there was delicious too, one of our daughter’s favorite meals in Japan. We were able to get some relaxation and rejuvenation after a long HOT day at Tokyo Disney Sea the day before. Our skin also felt great from the natural mineral water. Thanks for a great getaway from Tokyo, Lenny, and for the wonderful suggestions you gave us. We had an awesome time!

What an enjoyable day with Elie!

We instantly felt at ease with him, as if we knew each other already.
The places he brought us to were much appreciated and the cultural / historical details he delivered throughout our journey helped us to immerse even more in the atmosphere.
We discovered a magnificent onsen, in which we could replenish before engaging our return trip, even though his top-notch Alphard is a beast to smoothen / shorten the road.

The hours flew-by very quickly and it made us sad to say goodbye.

You felt more like a friend than a guide.

We joined the “From Tokyo: Private Tour to Fuji/Hakone – Onsen, Arts and Nature” and had an unforgettable time in Hakone!

Our guide, Evan, was absolutely wonderful. Even before the tour began, he was super communicative and provided us with helpful information to prepare. During the journey, he shared fascinating history and stories, all while being an excellent and safe driver.

We are a family of six, including two elder members, and both Elli (the owner) and Evan thoughtfully planned the tour around our needs. Every detail was tailored so we could see everything we wished, without worry.

The day was filled with remarkable experiences:
• Driving along the Hakone Turnpike, a famous mountain toll road known for its sweeping curves and reputation among car enthusiasts.
• Taking a serene cruise on Lake Ashi, surrounded by beautiful scenery and views of shrines and mountains.
• Riding the Hakone Ropeway gondola to Ōwakudani, the dramatic volcanic valley of steaming vents and sulphur springs, where we even tried the unique “black eggs” said to add years to one’s life.

As a perfect wrap-up to our journey, we enjoyed tea at a traditional tea house that has stood for over 400 years, lovingly run by the 14th generation of owners. It was an extraordinary and memorable moment. For my parents, visiting Hakone had always been a dream, and this tour transformed that dream into a perfect reality.

We are deeply grateful for Evan’s professionalism, care, warm company, and clear communication. We wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone seeking a rich and meaningful experience.

We had a wonderful Hakone tour experience with Lucas. We were very picky and he expertly adjusted the tour to fit our needs. He explained important customs at the religious site and waited patiently in line with me (and took awesome pictures) at one of the major landmarks. Our lunch experience was another amazing experience and we were so impressed with his engagement and professionalism.

We had the most amazing tour to Hakone with lots of really interesting stops along the way ending with the most relaxing experience in the onsen.Evan our guide was incredibly knowledgeable.He also let us take our time and we never felt rushed so we could soak up every ounce of our day. We had an outstanding tour of Hakone with Elie. Although the fog prevented us from seeing Mt. Fuji, the experience was excellent from start to finish. Elie was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and personable, making the day both enjoyable and informative. He also went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary needs, ensuring that suitable food options were available throughout the tour. His flexibility and attention to detail truly enhanced the experience. Even without a view of Mt. Fuji, the tour was memorable and rewarding thanks to Elie’s expertise and thoughtful guidance. We highly recommend him to anyone considering a visit to Hakone.

Elie is incredibly cool, friendly, and highly knowledgeable about Japanese local culture and traditions. He took us on a journey to rediscover Hakone in a GTR, which was both fascinating and thrilling. The entire itinerary was engaging and well thought out, and he was able to adjust it according to our specific needs, which was a huge help for us. We got to fully enjoy the exhilaration of a high-performance car, while also taking a relaxing break at a historic teahouse. This was truly a perfect trip from start to finish.

Elie was fantastic and it was great to have a European insiders view of the culture and highlights of Japan.
His van is fantastic and he is just a delight to go on tour with.
In fact, we booked him for a second day.

We had an amazing time with Elie. He was friendly, accommodating, and most of all knowledgeable. He didn't just drive us around like other tour companies. He actually gave us a tour with suggestions as well as history and context. The places he took us to were amazing and beautiful and away from other tourists. Would definitely book a tour with him again. So glad we had the opportunity to book with his company.

Wow! We are a family of 5, traveling from the USA. The ages of our kids, 10,13,15 make it difficult sometimes to serve our big party. This tour was perfect for us in every way and I would highly recommend it. First, our tour guide Lenny was professional, kind, informative and went above and beyond to create a perfect day. He checked in the day before and the morning of before pick up, the van was clean and spacious with wonderful AC. He taught us so much about Tokyo on our drive to Hakone and answered our many questions. Hakone was beautiful, we were very lucky and saw Mt. Fuji. But honestly if we hadn’t see it, the day would have still been amazing. From the restaurant Lenny picked, to the shrine, to the Open air museum, our day made the whole group happy. Lenny is already missed by my family. Book this tour ASAP.

Elie has a real passion and knowledge for cars which he is excited to share. Communication when planning our day was excellent, he was very responsive and friendly. Elie’s thoughtfulness planning this tour really comes through as he has blended the JDM car scene along with spiritual and cultural experiences. One of our favorites days in Japan! This is a day that any car enthusiast does not want to miss!!

We booked an all-day tour with Elie to visit the Hokone area and hopefully see Mt Fuji. Although the weather didn’t cooperate on the Mt Fuji viewing, Elie couldn’t have been more helpful before, during, and after the tour. We truly enjoyed the drive, learning about Japanese history, culture, and specifically about the Hakone region. We stopped at some beautiful viewpoints and when we asked about hikes, we were offered the opportunity to shift the schedule so that we could get a short hike in if we wanted. Elie recommended a historic tea house that we loved and the onsen that he chose for us was welcoming and relaxing. Overall, we had a great day and will surely seek Elie’s guidance for future trips.

We had a magical day with Elie in Hakone and Mt Fuji. The Onsen and lunch were amazing. We went to a beautiful art museum. Eli was kind, patient, answered all our questions and gave us terrific referrals in Tokyo. I would highly recommend Elie and his crew.

I went on this trip as an American tourist with a couple friends. Lenny was a perfect tour guide because he was knowledgeable and we were able to speak with him easily in English about everything in Japan. He took us to a great overlook of Mt Fuji that was on the other side of the mountain away from the touristy part where there were no crowds. We also viewed a temple where he explained the Japanese rituals. We also chose to do the onsen experience, which wad great. Just a couple things to note is that if you are American, the onsen may be uncomfortable because you are walking around (separated by gender) completely naked, so it may be jarring for those who are self-conscious for American children of certain ages. Also, if you choose to do the onsen you may not have time for other experiences, such as museums. But we are very glad to have had an authentic Japanese experience!

What an awsome tour, I had no idea where we were going or what we were seeing because it was setup for us. Lenny was probably one of the best guides I have ever had. He was knowledgeable on Japanese culture kept us engage son each stop. He was just awsome thank you Lenny for a great day.
The highlight of the day was the onsen where we had a great massage and sat in the hot spring to relax before heading back.

I had booked a private 1 day trip to Hakone with private Onsen, Mt. Fuji with famil. Dominik was our guide and he was very prompt, very informative and an excellent guide. He took plus around and took personal care to ensure we had a great day.
