Terrible cruise ship experience. Dinner cost €17 per person, but the food was even worse than instant noodles. The beer was awful and only available in cans. To make things worse, the soap dispenser in our cabin had leaked all over the sink. Very disappointing experience overall. I would definitely not recommend choosing this cruise ship!

Travelled with my father on the Tinker Bell ferry from Świnoujście to Trelleborg on 28 October 2026.

We booked for 2 passengers, but the booking process did not make it sufficiently clear that we were purchasing just ONE bed in a shared 4-person cabin. Imagine our surprise when two strangers entered our cabin!

After driving 12 hours, we were exhausted and just wanted to sleep. Staff offered no complimentary solution, so we had to pay an additional €79.50 for a private cabin.

To make matters worse, the replacement cabin hadn't been cleaned! We had to ask the cleaning staff ourselves. The advertised window offered practically no view, just dirty glass, the ship's metal structure and people walking past.

Many cabins appeared empty, yet no alternative was offered without additional payment.

Poor customer service, unclear booking information and unacceptable cabin standards.

For a company like TT-Line, I expected much better. I would not recommend them based on this experience.

Terrible travel experience. The seats were extremely uncomfortable and painful for a 6-hour journey. The Wi-Fi was very weak, and the delay in departure was only announced during check-in. Everything combined to create a truly bitter experience. I will definitely never travel with this line again.

Why don't the authorities respond to people's opinions?? Try using this ferry yourself!!!! It's a real rusty, STINKY trough. The website only offered me a cabin with pets (I booked it 8 hours before departure), even though I don't have a pet. I had no choice, I needed to go home. So, for 213 euros, I got the top bunk. Great, thank you. I didn't order food on the website because I had cash left; I thought I'd pay on board. (On DFDS ferries, you can buy breakfast and dinner for 35 euros with an excellent buffet), but here it's not even close, everything is separate: the first course is 16 euros!!! The second, third, bread, everything has to be paid separately, and the price is EXTREME. THIS IS THE WORST TRIP EVER. THEY DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT SERVICE.

Ships are terrible. The worst I could imagine. Food is so terrible that my dog wouldn’t even eat it, you have to bring your own. Ships are old, staff is awful. When they make a mistake (they made it when they started this company) they always try to cover it, like crashing into other ships, crashing into shores. When you leave a bad review they tend to just remove it and play dumb. Worst ever company. If not truck drivers this shithole would be closed earlier. I don’t even know how they still manage to keep on business. DFDS are kicking their asses straight. If you’re looking for comfort and reliable voyage - choose DFDS. We are constantly sailing from Klaipėda to Karlshamn. Tt line departs hour and half earlier than DFDS vessel, but somehow DFDS manages to catch up. When tried to acquire tickets for this shitty ferry the salesman was very angry and like gen z’s would say - insecure. I mean, ships are sailing were built in their 90s, some of them are built in their 80s if I am not wrong. Worst ever company to be in. Want comfort and speed then choose DFDS, if you’re going to Latvia or somewhere from Sweden choose Stena Line. Finland Thank God doesn’t dock their shitty ass ships, they have their own ships, such as Viking Line, Eckero Line or Silja Line, Tallink is there too.

Customer service far below the others. No response contacting and would not support buying a ticket although the shuttlebus had not even arrived yet. Sad.

The person at the cafeteria who gives food is very negative and unhelpful, basically bald dude, and spoke badly about me after getting my food in russian, he could give me an answer after asking what ingredients are in brown sauce and wouldn’t even give me because its for the meat, i had meat on my plate the person was just negative after i asked multiple times what is in the sauce.

The cleaning is sh*t..
Food as we arrive to the ferry - a bit early to eat dinner at 15... We look at 17 and everything is gone and I ask "the reception" and she said it would be back at 19:30... okay, so us with kids - it is TOO LATE! I was not the only one confused..
First and last time using this expensive way of travelling! Take the ferry in Denmark, 1000% better!

The Świnoujście-Trelleborg ferry is sleek and very modern, with clean and quiet cabins. However, half of the available attractions remain closed or unavailable – including the sauna and buffet. The friendly customer service ends after the ferry departs – questions are treated perfunctorily, even brusquely, completely unnecessary given the small number of passengers and the overall tranquility of the cruise. Unfortunately, the unpleasant service significantly reduced my satisfaction with the trip, especially considering the relatively high price of the ferry.

Travemunde - Klaipeda route is a nightmare. Impossible to find the ferry in Travemunde, no personnel to ask. Ferry was late more than 4 hours with 0 explanations. Be ready to crawl on your knews to reach your car under trucks. Food - it looks like chefs ( Russian babushkas) are imprisoned in ferry for 30 years and still serve Soviet cuisine masterpieces. If you want to experience Soviet Union poverty cusine - this is a time machine. This is not ferry for humans, only for trucks without drivers, they should not be selling tickets for passengers at all.

Always takes way to long to leave the ferry

Really stupid but I forget for me very important stuff and left it behind in my hut, travelling from Rostock to Trelleborg with Huckleberry Finn. I was in complete stress!
I contacted lost and found and two days later I got an email from Natallia that the bag was found. What a relief, I was soo happy.
Natallia was very correct and it was no problem to sent it to my home adress in the Netherlands.
What a great and friendly service from her, I am very thankful!

I was very disappointed with the service and conditions on TT-Line. The cabins were not properly cleaned – we could still see hair from the previous guests, which is unacceptable. The breakfast products were not fresh, and some even expired. On top of that, the overall quality of the food was very poor.

For the price of the trip, I expected much better standards of hygiene and service. Unfortunately, this experience has made me reconsider using TT-Line again.

Subject: Rostock – Trelleborg 14:00

On 12.09.2025 at 14:22 I came into your restaurant for lunch, only to be asked by the bartender for a “voucher.” When I asked why, the answer was: “Because we don’t know if you’re a European citizen.”

That’s not just a strange policy – that’s discrimination. I even have a witness. I suggest you have a serious look at this particular employee, because since when do bartenders get to play immigration police?

Ironically, your staff member herself doesn’t even seem to have European roots – so this sounded even more like a bad joke with a touch of racism.

Sorry, but unless this is addressed, I won’t be using your company again. A little reminder: customers expect hospitality, not passport control at lunch.

Don't buy tickets with a flex add-on from TT Line because if you cancel (up to 24 hours before departure), you won't get a refund at all. You'll even have to pay extra! We'll never travel with TT Line again. TT Line advertises flexible tickets, but you can forget about getting a (partial) refund if you cancel on time.

Very disappointing experience
The overall standard was very bad. The cabins were dirty and outdated, making the journey uncomfortable. For the price paid, it was definitely overpriced. Would not recommend TT line

Were a couple travelling from Helsingborg to Swinoujcie on TT-Line Nils Dacke and TT Line Tinker Bell (kudos to Heinrich - one of the staff of Tinkerbell).

CONS:
1. Customer service is the worst. Not proactive, no solution offered for passengers. Blame passengers for not checking in on time despite no indicating the time in the itinerary.
2. Staff at TT Line - Nils Dacke are so rude and impolite in giving directions when asked for information. Another staff at Tinker Bell (Pontus) is rude and impolite too.
3. Information provided for the bus pick up is vague and confusing. No announcement made if passengers are ready to board.
4. Too much walking with all the luggage just to enter and offload the ship.
5. Bad food at Nils Dacke.

CONS:
1. Nice staff at TT Line Tinkerbell (Heinrich was so approachable and helpful to new passengers and the other lady who was also approachable.
2. Better food at Tinkerbell.

Will travel again with TT Line Tinkerbell but never with Nils Dacke.

Delay in harbor and further delayed during trip. Non of the parts of EU’s Maritime Passenger Rights Regulations was upheld. No information, no assistance and probably no compensation.
Worst ferry company in my life. Choose any other.

Very time-consuming boarding system and off-loading. It takes 30 min after arrival to get off the boat as a pedestrian. No coordination between local buses and the arrival time of the boats. Had to wait 1h for a bus to central Rostock as the bus before left 4min before we got to the terminal.
