Online ordering is poor , you get a confirmation that order has been received and charged , and that were it ends no lead time on delivery just a vague message that there are in a busy period and order may take longer than usual . I organised order to be collected and they didn't have the stock , so swapped for similar product , then I was left short a sheet of warm board which took two weeks to be delivered after constant emails and phone calls. I gave the benefit of doubt and decided to order again this time I would collect , same happened order confirmed and charged but no lead time on collection . 2 emails sent no response and a week later I make contact with the branch chasing down the order , they advise that there is no problem it should be ready , when it was collected they where again short an item again no call made to me . I had to contact them again to get a refund. website is really good and easy to navigate , but if your project is time sensitive go direct to branch ,online delivery and collection are a waste of time .

I've been a loyal TJ O'Mahony customer for many years, and overall I really like the company. The products are good, prices are competitive, and most of the staff I've dealt with have been excellent.
Since I changed address, my account was transferred from the Dublin branch, where the service was outstanding, to the Naas branch. Unfortunately, my experience there has been very different. One member of staff, consistently fails to manage orders properly. Almost every order requires me to chase it up. He often isn't even aware that an online order has been placed until I call asking for a delivery update.
This time I decided not to remind anyone and simply waited. It's now been over a week, and I haven't received any communication at all, no delivery update, no notification of delays or missing items, just complete silence. I'm curious to see how long it will take before someone notices the order.
Despite this, I still think TJ O'Mahony is a great builders' merchant with fantastic people. My experience suggests that this is the exception rather than the rule, but unfortunately one poor experience repeated often enough can overshadow an otherwise excellent company.

Terrible - I never got the item although TJ O'Mahony had over 100 euro of my money; they didn't reply to my numerous emails asking for a rough delivery date and written at weekly intervals over the course of a month, and then I finally got a reply through Trustpilot when I gave a poor review. They finally refunded me without any apology or even acknowledgement that they had done so - the only way I knew was through seeing the refund on my bank statement. It was particularly irksome as the item was exterior paint for my house and the time I took off work for painting it was wasted.

Delivered on time in the manner requested from the Arklow branch. Tongue and groove cladding and all the pieces were straight and true. Very happy.

Delived on time exactly as ordered. Any even brought tge wood into my garage for me. Couldn't be better service.
