Fabulous store in a small town
Fabulous store in a small town.
Friendly, efficient staff and a fantastic range of goods and services to choose from.
Called in on Monday and bought some goods, especially a Ninja product. Discovered on Tuesday I had bought the wrong one. Back today and got the right one. No problems and staff couldn't be more helpful.

Where Customer Service Went in the Bin
I've been a regular customer at Keane's for quite some time and have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. I've never had a bad experience until this morning.
I came in intending to buy a new BBQ. Before going inside, I finished my can of Red Bull and realised my deodorant can was empty after trying to use it. As I walked into the store, I put both the empty Red Bull can and the empty deodorant can into the bin at the entrance.
Almost immediately, a forklift driver rushed over and told me that the bin wasn't for my rubbish and that I needed to take it home. I was quite taken aback by how I was approached. When I asked what the bin was for, he struggled to answer because, realistically, it's a bin and most people would naturally assume it's there for rubbish. He then became more confrontational and insisted they have to pay to have the rubbish removed.
I completely understand that businesses have waste disposal costs and may not want customers using their bins for household waste. If that's the case, then simply remove the bins or clearly signpost that they are not for customer use. What isn't acceptable is aggressively confronting someone for using a bin for its intended purpose.
I had gone in with the intention of buying a new BBQ, and this weekend we were planning to come back to order our new kitchen appliances. After the way I was treated, that won't be happening. It's genuinely made me think twice about shopping there again if that's how customers are viewed and treated.

Superb Customer Service
I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with the excellent customer service I've received at Keans. I am in the process of furnishing a new home and need absolutely everything from dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, kettle, toaster, iron, TV, pet food, paint, garden furniture, and a new phone when I accidentally destroyed my old phone. At every step of the way over the last several months, Keans has been my go to merchant. Their staff is extraordinarily well cross-trained and knowledgeable, as well as being pleasant and kind. Special shout out to Joan in the electronics department who spent considerable time explaining the various televisions and Jonny in the paint department who was so helpful in helping me choose the perfect paint colours for my home. Certain of my purchases needed to be delivered and Keans commuicated a delivery time and, sure enough, my purchases were delivered on time and in perfect order. It's a pleasure to shop at Keans and I recommend them to anyone looking for home goods.

Paid for karcher got email next day say it was out of stock nearly a week later still waiting on refund. Up to them to update there website. I also Order power hose that was in stock when I emailed about it was told refund with in 1 working day had to wait to see if I needed to order from somewhere else
