Horrible experience at DIESEL!

I had a horrible experience at the Diesel store at Lenox Square in Buckhead.

On what was supposed to be a very happy day, my birthday, I went to Diesel to purchase a pair of jeans using a $200 gift certificate that my sister had given me as a birthday gift. Unfortunately, what should have been a simple and enjoyable shopping experience turned into an extremely frustrating ordeal.

Apparently, Diesel has serious issues processing purchases using its own gift certificates—gift certificates that the company itself sells and issues. I spent more than an hour trying to complete a purchase that should have taken just a few minutes. It became so frustrating that I eventually had to spend time on the phone with Customer Service, where I ended up extremely upset and yelling just to get the situation resolved.

I want to make it clear that the employees at the Lenox Square store were incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful. They did everything they could to assist me, and without their kindness and persistence, I probably would have walked away without making the purchase at all.

The problem is with Diesel’s gift certificate system and, more importantly, the lack of an efficient solution when something goes wrong. A customer should never have to spend over an hour trying to use a $200 gift certificate issued by the company itself.

What started as a happy birthday shopping experience ended up being bitter, stressful, and extremely disappointing. Diesel needs to address this issue because customers should not be made to feel as though they are trying to use something that the company itself sold them.

Unacceptable fraud! Paid for 3 items, only received 2, and Diesel refused to refund despite unboxing video evidence.

Unacceptable fraud! Paid for 3 items, only received 2, and Diesel refused to refund despite unboxing video evidence.

I ordered three items from Diesel: a hat, a crossbody bag, and a necklace. However, upon delivery, the package contained only two items—the necklace was completely missing. The external packaging was perfectly intact and undamaged when it arrived, which clearly indicates that the shipping staff failed to pack the necklace in the first place.I immediately emailed Diesel customer service on the very same day, providing a complete and continuous unboxing video as solid proof. The customer service team stated they would forward my case to the Italy headquarters for handling, but I never received any further response or update from them.Left with no choice, I filed a chargeback dispute through my credit card company (Fubon Bank) in early April. After months of waiting, Diesel abruptly rejected the dispute and refused to refund the cost of the missing necklace. Their ridiculous justification was: "Why didn't you process a return for the full order?" This makes absolutely no sense. How could I possibly return an item that I never received in the first place when the order was short-shipped?I have fully provided my unboxing video to prove that the necklace was missing from the moment the package was opened. Conversely, I demanded that Diesel provide their fulfillment/packing video to prove that the necklace was actually placed inside the box by their staff. Diesel has completely ignored this request, failed to provide any proof of shipment for the missing item, and stubbornly refused to issue a refund or a replacement. This is an absolute scam and appalling customer service. I demand that Diesel immediate review this case and issue my refund!

Faulty jeans and dirty screwed up dress

I ordered a few pairs of jeans in 2 styles and 2 lengths.
The only pair that fitted were sent in the wrong colour and had a dodgy seam.
I thought I'd let them know so another customer wasn't disappointed but they've not really done anything to note this.

I had also ordered a dress. It came screwed up and had food stains and damage to the hem where someone had worn it. I was told on the phone this was sent from a store rather than stock. How did the cashier not notice? How did they not see what was obvious before sending out.
They are trying to say this was manufacturing default. Very little apology or anything to make good on two bad orders

I am stunned that a high end retailer would act this way.

Jeans at close eto £200 and the dress while half price retailerd at £300 originally.

I wish I'd read the other reviews before I ordered.

Terrible service

I have been a loyal Diesel customer for…

I have been a loyal Diesel customer for more than 20 years, and this review honestly hurts to write because I genuinely love the brand.

I don’t believe Diesel has a product problem. I believe Diesel has a customer-experience problem.

I own approximately 45 pairs of Diesel jeans and probably 99% of my wardrobe is Diesel. I even drove 1½ hours from Maryland to the Virginia store because I wanted to make another purchase using Visa gift cards. I was told over the phone that it could be done. When I arrived, the manager told me she would arrange a solution with the Soho team and even gave me her number to follow up. I trusted that promise. My follow-up messages were ignored and the promised solution never happened.

I would have accepted a simple “we can’t do that.” What disappointed me was the lack of honesty and follow-through.

I also recently contacted Diesel’s call center about an online order. Instead of feeling helped, I felt like I was inconveniencing the representative simply by asking about my order. The tone was dismissive and condescending.

This is especially disappointing because Diesel already has what many brands spend years trying to build: a recognizable brand, unique designs, and products that customers are willing to pay premium prices for.

Please don’t lose loyal customers because of the people and systems surrounding the product.

Customer service is not an extra feature of a premium brand. It is part of the product.

I’m not writing this because I want to stop buying Diesel. I’m writing because I genuinely want the brand to succeed.

I don’t believe Diesel has a product problem. I believe Diesel has a customer-experience problem.

Diesel skinny under nourished, model boys …

Diesel really need to get some proper models instead of boys to model their clothes.

The models on their current website, don’t entice me at all, the clothes are literally hanging off them.

Diesel need to get some models that fill up the Arms in their T-shirts and fill up the legs in a trousers instead of skinny bony little boys

Diesel, you can scan and fool and scam the world with your fake low quality products except on the UAE, we will escalate the case to Diesel global and will copy the UAE customer right so that you stop scanning customers in the UAE

Very disappointed with Diesel customer…

Very disappointed with Diesel customer service. My jeans worth 120€ were stolen from the postal pickup box, and for the past 2 months I have been doing everything possible contacting DHL, sending documents, answering emails, following up constantly, and cooperating with all investigations.

Despite all of this, Diesel showed absolutely zero understanding or willingness to help. They simply kept repeating that the pickup code was used, completely ignoring the fact that the parcel was clearly stolen. A used pickup code does not magically mean the customer received the package personally.

What is most shocking to me is that such a big international brand cannot even show basic goodwill or replace a single pair of jeans worth 120€ for a loyal customer after such a long and stressful situation.

The entire experience has been exhausting, frustrating, and honestly very sad for a company that presents itself as a premium brand. I expected far better customer care and responsibility from Diesel.

I’m honestly shocked at how poorly this…

I’m honestly shocked at how poorly this was handled by Diesel.

I purchased a bag on April 19, and within a very short period of normal use, the zipper completely failed. This wasn’t wear and tear—it was clearly a manufacturing defect. A basic function of a bag is to open and close properly, and this one couldn’t even manage that.

What’s worse is Diesel’s response. When I reached out, they refused to offer a refund or take proper responsibility for a defective product. Instead of standing behind their quality, they hid behind policy and dismissed the issue. That’s unacceptable for a brand operating at their price point.

If you’re charging premium prices, the expectation is that your products meet basic durability standards—and that you’ll take accountability when they don’t. Diesel failed on both counts.

Buyers should be aware: if something goes wrong, don’t expect meaningful support. You may be stuck with a defective item and no resolution.

I won’t be purchasing from Diesel again.

Terrible experiance!

Terrible experiance! Customer service directs to another comapny who obviously makes wrist watch machine for them ignoring the fact that the seller,Diesel, is responsible regardless of manufacturer warranties and that Diesel handles this complaint directly and provides a solution in accordance with the law (repair, replacement, or refund). They ignore my emails for days! Run away from them!

Poor quality

Unfortunately over the years the quality of diesel products has substantially gone down hill. I have always purchased diesel jeans over the years however you are lucky if you get a year out of jeans and substantially less out of other clothing. The jeans wear through creating holes in a very short time and seams come away on shorts. When a pair of jeans can be more than 150 pounds you would expect much more. Unfortunately this has pushed me now to going to another brand.

One star only because I can’t give…

One star only because I can’t give less. I was effectively robbed of €223 by this company.
I received a completely wrong order: two shoes for the same foot and a different (cheaper) watch than the one I paid for. I returned everything and was promised a refund, but I only got the money for the shoes—the watch “disappeared.”
Customer service refused to take responsibility, claiming they never received it. As a long-time customer, I’m extremely disappointed. I will never buy from this brand again.

Shocking

I bought a £360 dress in November. The material damaged with the first wear with various threads coming off. I contacted the shop signalling the issue with no success. I contacted customer services and after 4 months of waiting they simply said the material was not faulty and no apology, substitution or voucher was offered. Absolutely shocking.

Awful sizing

Sizing of jeans are wildly inconsistent ,ordered jeans exactly same size as pair i already had ,on arrival found to be at least 2 sizes bigger .
Finally found right size after multiple reorders ,ordered two pairs, same size, same model but differentcolour ,when arrived one was miles bigger than other, how is that possible? Terrible experience
