my CapCut subscription cannot be cancelled

CapCut may have many useful features, but my experience with the subscription process has been extremely disappointing. I wanted to cancel my Pro subscription, but there is no clear and accessible way to do this. The option to manage or cancel the subscription is difficult to find, while the option to purchase Pro is immediately visible.

When I tried to contact customer support, I was directed to a live chat that simply does not work: the chat window opens, but no support conversation loads.

This is not acceptable for a paid service. Cancelling a subscription should be at least as easy as purchasing one. Customers should not have to search through help pages or struggle with a non-functioning support chat just to prevent another automatic payment.

I hope CapCut takes this seriously and provides a straightforward, functioning cancellation procedure.

CapCut is stealing money from ordinary…

CapCut is stealing money from ordinary users. When THEIR generation fails, WE pay for it — not them. CapCut never refunds the tokens or credits lost to broken generations. The tool performs terribly: it keeps generating the exact same broken video repeatedly, claims it’s “fixing” the problem, and then does absolutely nothing. No fix, no refund, nothing. These aren’t bugs — this is a business model built on taking money and giving nothing back. To this company, users are just disposable wallets.

Wonder why CapCut gets so many bad…

Wonder why CapCut gets so many bad reviews: they do too much that you can't have control over. If you wanted to post on a popular site like Reddit, well good luck posting on that site to get things fixed and resolved. CapCut doesn't even have an official forum site. My project is now going on for another month because their app. their monthly app is pushing me into another month to make a payment for the problems that just out of nowhere appeared. This is a scam to make more money off of me, and troubleshooting is nowhere to be found. Now I truly understand why this app has to be online all the damn time; it doesn't have anything to do giving users better support it's has to with manipulating users to pay for extra additional more months.

I paid for a CapCut subscription…

I paid for a CapCut subscription specifically because of the “transcript based editing” feature. It was available and working BEFORE I subscribed. The moment I paid for the subscription, the feature mysteriously disappeared.

Now it’s been FOUR DAYS, and CapCut support still cannot explain what happened or fix the problem. Instead, they keep asking me for more and more information and sending pointless excuses and generic replies. At this rate, I honestly expect them to ask for a blood test, a doctor’s certificate, and my entire medical history next.

This is absolutely ridiculous. I paid for a subscription because of a specific feature that CapCut showed me, and after taking my money, that feature is no longer available.

The feature still doesn’t work, support has been completely useless, and I have wasted days going back and forth with them.

I am writing to express my serious…

I am writing to express my serious dissatisfaction with the way CapCut operates. I paid for a service and features that were advertised on your platform, but what I received did not correspond to what was presented. After completing the payment, the paid features and benefits were not properly made available or delivered to me.

It is particularly concerning that it is so difficult to find a clear and accessible way to contact customer support. When a user pays for a service, they should have a simple way to report a problem and receive a specific response. Instead, the process appears complicated and lacking in transparency.

The way the service, paid features, and customer support are organized gives the impression of misleading practices and unfair treatment of users. I am not necessarily claiming that this constitutes fraud in the legal sense, but the experience certainly feels as though users are paying for something that is not clearly, fully, and reliably provided.

Therefore, I am requesting a full refund of the amount charged to me. Please review my payment and account details, explain why the paid features were unavailable, and confirm the refund as soon as possible.

Based on this experience, I would seriously reconsider using CapCut in the future. I would also advise new users to think carefully before subscribing or making a payment .

Terrible subscription policy

Terrible subscription and card-charging policy.

They keep trying to charge your card every couple of hours without any notification, even after a previous payment attempt failed. They simply keep trying again and again.

Even after I blocked their payment profile, they changed the merchant name and attempted to charge my card again.

I deleted my CapCut account and cancelled all subscriptions, yet they are still trying to charge my card.

This is extremely frustrating and feels very aggressive. Customers should have full control over recurring payments and should not have to constantly block repeated charging attempts.

Doesn’t recognize my subscription

Purchased a Pro subscription at a promotional price, but a few days later I noticed that none of the Pro tools were available in the app and there was no Pro subscription badge. The subscription was and is still active in my Apple account.

I contacted customer support to resolve the issue but received no response. I also tried every possible solution suggested on CapCut’s Help page, but many of the options simply do not exist in my app. There is no “Restore Purchase” option or any other way to restore the subscription.

The whole situation is extremely unclear, including how to request a refund. I paid for a Pro subscription that CapCut does not recognize, despite the subscription being active through Apple, and I have been unable to get any meaningful support.

Very frustrating experience and an unnecessarily complicated process just to resolve a basic subscription issue.

If I could put 0 star I would

If I could put 0 star I would. This is an AWFUL company. Stay away at all cost. Hours wasted to try to get a refund for service NOT provided for my capcut pro subscription, but paid for. I can't access my account anymore, can't unsubscribe, and they won't refund me or close my account. The support is ABSENT. Very bad. And they won't provide me with invoices for all these months I paid. They are stealing people. This is criminal. They should get sued.

We are very disappointed with our experience with CapCut regarding invoicing for our company's Pro subscription. For several months we have been trying to get a correct invoice issued, but the same error in the company name keeps repeating itself, despite repeatedly flagging the issue and providing detailed clarifications.

In addition, although we have a business account with a valid VAT number, we were not allowed to have the invoice issued without VAT (reverse charge), which is standard practice for B2B purchases within the EU.

Overall, an extremely tedious invoicing process and support that has failed to resolve a simple issue in a timely manner. A disappointing collaboration in this regard.

Pro features

I wanted to create a simple project and extracted some audios, nowhere was it stated that these were "Pro" features so I wasted the next 30 minutes of my life working on it. When I finally finished and wanted to export it and save it, I had to pay since I used "Pro" features. This is absolutely ridiculous, you should get some kind of warning that you're using Pro features and that it is not free...

Trash! consumes credit (even if it makes the mistake)

Trash! - I purchased a monthly package, it consumes 180 credit for each modification, small or big, even if it was all about changing the tone of the storyteller, and if it bugs or misses to do the right ask, it'll consume again from your credit to do the right thing - better work on your LLM models before opting people into buying a subscription for a shitty execution. Also, don't take people's credit for nothing!

CapCut ripped me off.

I am extremely disappointed with CapCut’s handling of my paid subscription.

I originally purchased CapCut Pro and have been using the Pro features for approximately two years. I have the original purchase record from Apple that clearly shows CapCut Pro.

The subscription was then automatically renewed through Apple. I did not purchase a Standard plan, I did not request a downgrade, and I never authorized CapCut to remove my Pro benefits.

After an account linking/disconnection issue, my account suddenly started showing Standard instead of Pro, and I lost access to the features I had already paid for.

I contacted CapCut Support and provided everything they requested, including my account information, device information, Apple purchase records, and proof from the previous year showing that the subscription was CapCut Pro.

Instead of investigating the subscription history, Support repeatedly told me that the current account shows Standard. That is exactly the problem I was asking them to investigate.

After all of this, CapCut simply closed my support ticket without resolving the issue or explaining why my Pro subscription was changed to Standard.

I am still losing money because I paid for an annual subscription and am not receiving the membership benefits I originally purchased.

I have documentation proving the original Pro purchase and the subsequent automatic renewal. I should not have to spend hours every year proving to CapCut what I already paid for.

I am asking CapCut to investigate the actual subscription and payment history, restore the Pro membership I paid for, and stop closing support cases without providing a resolution.

This is not acceptable customer service for a paid subscription.
