Great offer dealt with in just a couple of minutes

Very good experience

We had a very unpleasant and disappointing experience with Opodo. Although we booked and paid for our flight tickets from Vienna to Tbilisi through Opodo well in advance, our names were not in the airline’s booking system.

When we arrived at Vienna Airport at the end of July, we were told that we might not be allowed to board because our names could not be found in the booking system. I showed the staff our booking documents, but they told us that despite having the confirmation, our names were simply not there. This was, of course, a serious problem. Only after about 45 minutes of discussions and going back and forth were we finally allowed to board.

Unfortunately, we experienced exactly the same problem at Tbilisi Airport on our return flight. Once again, our names were not in the booking system, even though we had booked and paid for the flights through Opodo. A very bad experience. Never again.

Ms Phalgoni was really helpful to sort out my prime membership.

Extremely disappointed with the way this matter has been handled. I cancelled my annual subscription last year, yet £99.99 was taken from my account again this year without my authorisation or expectation.

I contacted customer service immediately and requested a full refund. I also asked for written email confirmation that the subscription had now been cancelled so that no further payments would be taken. Shockingly, I was told they could not provide me with an email confirming the cancellation, despite being able to take £99.99 from my account.

I asked to speak with a manager and was placed on hold for several minutes, only to then be told that no manager was available to speak with me. This was extremely frustrating and left me with no confidence that the issue had been properly resolved.

I am requesting an immediate full refund of the £99.99 and written confirmation that my subscription is cancelled and that no further payments will be taken from my account.

Very poor customer service and an unacceptable experience. I would advise customers to carefully check their bank statements for unexpected subscription charges.
