Miela have completely gone down hill
Miela have completely gone down hill
Not the company they used to be
Most of the products sold now are no better in my opinion than any other mid range White goods company.
Don't waste your money on them.
My last purchase was a £2000 fridge and the door closer has broken no help after 2.5 years old and loads of reference to this problem on the Internet but Miela washing their hands not their cloths.
SO NEVER AGAIN AFTER A LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR MANY YEARS.
Miele washing machine
A part that should have been in stock for a Miele washing machine that is 3 years old has taken 3 weeks! Miele says the part is in stock but they can't seem to get the part from stock to shipping. I would never buy a Miele again and am warning all of my friends to do the same for any Miele product.

Horrible company. I have one of their coffee machines, and the automatic cleaning products are ridiculously expensive—around €70 for something that probably costs them €15 to make.
Buying anything from them is also a pain. For example, why do I need to create an account just to buy a coffee-cleaning cartridge? Why does everything require an account? Why would my coffee machine even need me to have an account?
It feels like a horrible, greedy company. I will never buy anything from them again.

5 years of hell with twin dos washing machine. When we purchased then a
Machine we were told it had a 10 year warranty. When delivered and installed the paperwork stated 2 years warranty and a 10 year service plan. The retailing shop in,
Liskeard then offered us their own 5 year warranty plan as we had been misled.
2 years of twindos issues and failures, 2 door locks and the machine went away for repairs. Eventually we were given a replacement machine. Second machine no better than the first. More twindos issues. Two months ago shop repair man under the 5 year shop warranty replaced whole of the twindos system. We are now out of shop warranty and still window is not working demanding maintained etc despite having done this with the special chemical. Miele refuses to honour the 10 year shop warranty/ 2 visit service plan. Help line is appalling, cannot understand the accents / poor English. Not sure where to turn to. DO NOT BUY A MIELE washing machine with twindos.

Meile Scammers.
Meile state on their website site that they are open from 9.00am to 4.00pm on Saturday's and when contacted they inform you that their Complaints Department is not open on Saturday's. They must be the worst Company I ever had the displeasure of dealing with
A Bunch of Scammers all the way from the Philippines and back.

cutomer service and product
I am contacting Miele International Customer Service because, despite my repeated attempts to resolve this matter through Miele Turkey by both email and telephone, the process has unfortunately not been managed in a satisfactory or effective manner. Most recently, I contacted Miele again on 1 August 2026 regarding the continuing problems with my tumble dryer. However, approximately six business days have now passed without an effective resolution. This follows several previous emails and repeated telephone calls concerning the same matter. Considering Miele’s international reputation, premium positioning, and the high standards of quality and after-sales service associated with the brand, I believe that the way this case has been handled so far is not consistent with the level of service that Miele customers should reasonably expect.
I am therefore escalating the matter to your international customer service team and would like to present the full history of the case and my request below.
I am writing regarding my Miele TWH780WP TR LW tumble dryer, which was the subject of my previous correspondence dated 24 July 2026, to provide an update on the current situation and to formally submit my request.
I purchased the appliance on 31 March 2026, and it was installed on 3 April 2026. On 23 June 2026, I contacted the authorised service department because the drum had stopped rotating. Following inspection, I was informed that the drum belt needed to be replaced. After the repair procedure, the appliance was returned to me on 17 July 2026. As we had to leave the city immediately after delivery, we were unable to inspect the appliance thoroughly at that time. Upon our return and subsequent inspection, we found that the filter was wet and dirty, the filter compartment had not been properly cleaned, and there were stains inside the drum.
I contacted Miele Customer Service regarding these issues on 20 July 2026, and a service record was opened. As Customer Service requested photographic evidence, I subsequently submitted the complaint again, together with photographs, by email on 24 July 2026.
Despite our repeated requests for an authorised service visit, the service team was only able to attend on 1 August 2026 to inspect and maintain the appliance. Consequently, from 23 June 2026 until that date, the tumble dryer could not be properly used.
During the service visit on 1 August 2026, only maintenance and cleaning procedures were performed. One of the main issues raised in my complaint — the filter, which remained dirty and was producing an unpleasant odour — was not replaced. More importantly, after the service and cleaning procedures had been completed, we attempted to use the appliance and discovered a new problem: a rhythmic noise can now be heard while the drum is rotating. This noise had not existed before the most recent service intervention.
This situation clearly indicates that the problems with the appliance have not been fully resolved and that the product still cannot be used with the level of confidence and reliability expected from a Miele appliance.
Considering that the appliance is still very new, it is particularly concerning that it first suffered a drum belt failure, was subsequently returned from repair in a dirty and stained condition, that the filter forming part of my complaint was not replaced, and that a new rhythmic noise appeared following the latest service intervention.
As a result of this sequence of events, I have lost confidence both in the appliance itself and in the repair procedures carried out on it.
Although I have already exercised my right to a free repair, the problems have continued during the warranty period. Furthermore, the maximum statutory repair period of 20 business days stipulated under Turkish consumer protection legislation has been exceeded. Accordingly, pursuant to Article 11 and Article 56(3) of Turkish Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection, I formally request that my Miele TWH780WP TR LW tumble dryer be replaced with a brand-new, unused and defect-free appliance.
Under the applicable legislation, the seller, manufacturer and importer are jointly responsible for fulfilling this request. I sincerely hope that Miele International will now take ownership of this matter and ensure that it is resolved promptly and appropriately, in a manner consistent with Miele’s international reputation, corporate quality standards and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Poor experience
I chose Miele because it is marketed as a premium brand, but my experience was anything but premium.
Before placing my order, I was assured that my washing machine would be delivered on a specific date. After ordering, I was given a different delivery date. I contacted customer services and was again reassured that the original date would be honoured. Despite those assurances, Miele failed to deliver as promised.
What made matters worse was that when the machine eventually arrived, it was effectively just dropped off and I was left to sort out the installation myself despite having booked an installation as well. This was the exact opposite of the seamless premium service I expected when ordering directly from Miele.
The most frustrating part is that I could have purchased the same machine from John Lewis for the same price and received additional benefits including installation, removal of the old appliance and a better warranty package. Instead, I relied on Miele's promises and ended up with a significantly poorer experience.
When I complained, the resolution offered was a refund of the delivery charge and a £25 voucher that could only be used against future Miele purchases. I found this completely inadequate given the inconvenience, the broken promises and the time spent chasing updates.
Premium brands charge premium prices. Customers rightly expect premium service. Unfortunately, Miele failed on both customer service and complaint handling, and I would think very carefully before buying directly from them again.

"Final Demand"From Miele for nothing.
I purchased a Miele washing machine value £1650 in December 2022,at the time I was told my previous warranty would be honoured until 2028.On the 27th of May a Miele engineer attended due to a fault (Power control unit failure) When the engineer was leaving he asked if I had my warranty documents to hand,at that time I did not,he said no problem and left. When I booked a engineer to attend I told the customer service team about my warranty and was told valid no problem. On the 1st of August I received a "Final Demand" from Miele for £297.12 if payment is not made then I will be subject to legal action, this was the one and only letter I received from Miele.I was really upset at recieving such correspondence from Miele when they are well aware I am a vulnerable customer who owes them nothing and had a valid warranty,I will be honest this threat of legal action I find a great worry and I don't know what to do

3rd Request – Still No Reply – Miele Bulgaria Repair Case [Case/Invoice No.]
I have already written to Miele Germany's headquarters twice — on 30.03.2026 and again on 08.06.2026 — and am still waiting for a reply to either message. This is not a new complaint. I already provided the address, phone number, invoice, service protocol, correspondence, and the written offers/proforma invoice you list above.
For clarity, the facts are these: the same spare part (P/N 09925661 – Power-/Control unit ELPW567-F) was quoted at three different prices in a matter of months — ~€500, then €222.44 (29 June 2026), then €370.73 (3 July 2026) — a 60%+ increase for the identical part, unexplained. The defect was diagnosed at the very first visit, before I sought a second opinion due to the inflated initial quote; that second opinion has since been used to allege tampering and deny responsibility for the original fault.
An appliance marketed with a 20-year service life should not fail after a few years of normal use, and I should not be asked to bear the cost. I would also point Miele to the EU's Right to Repair Directive, which places clear obligations on manufacturers to support fair, accessible repair rather than pushing consumers toward replacement — an obligation this handling does not reflect.
I am requesting a full refund of either the appliance or the complete repair cost, with no charge to me. I have paused all local steps pending a response from headquarters and will escalate to European consumer protection authorities if this is not resolved properly.
I expect a substantive response — this is now my third attempt to reach you.

Nightmare Experience with Customer…
Nightmare Experience with Customer Service Ireland, left a review on Trust Pilot Ireland, which no-one has replied to. Our Miele Washer was purchased in 2020 - obviously out of warranty. We had previous had Miele washing machine, dishwasher, hoover etc.. all lasted over 20 years. The currently washing machine started banging loudly on spin. Contacted our own engineer as I knew it was out of warranty and thought a quick fix would be possible - how wrong was I, on inspection he established it was a bearing problem, not fixable by my engineer. I contacted Miele as this is totally unacceptable for a machine of this age, with minimal use, two people, no kids. I was given a complaints reference number very quickly, the service at this point was helpful and speedy.. this is where the helpful, pleasant service ends. I was told the Miele engineer could call out that week, either fixing it straight away or order parts - all of which I would have to pay for in full, including call out charge, labour and parts. I was also offered as a good will gesture if unfixable a 40% discount off a new Miele machine. I requested from the lady on the service line if I could speak to someone more senior and was advised that she was as 'Senior as you are going to get'...so no joy there then. I perfectly understand that the machine is out of warranty, but this is totally unacceptable that Miele promotes that their machines have a long life 10 years plus and that they outlast their cheaper competitors, sadly for me this is not the case. I am writing this on Miele Germany as the response is not forthcoming from Miele Ireland and would appreciate any comments.

Miele Blizzard CX1 cannister for pets
I purchased a Miele Blizzard CX1 a year ago. I have had the powerhead replaced (after only a few months) through the store I purchased from, no complaint there. The new powerhead does not sound robust. While it does pick up hair, I have to run over the same carpet area many times. Removing the cannister is difficult and occasionally the filter clogs and the vacuum stops running. I don't feel it performs any better than a much less expensive vacuum and I wouldn't recommend it.

Do Not Not Miele! ...continued, Part 2 (copy from Miele GB site)
This review was originally left on the Miele GB Trustpilot site, but I feel worthy of sharing on the .de site (HQ?).....This is a follow up to my review left on 3rd July 2026 (Miele GB), in response to which Miele Great Britain requested specific information about the issue and communications, which I duly supplied to them on 3rd July 2026. They then responded with comments on Trustpilot stating they were pleased that the matter was resolved and the appliance was working again. I am speechless, and have ben away on holiday in the interim hence the delayed posting - the Miele Engineers visit is scheduled for 16th July which given the call references shared with Miele GB, they should have been aware of. Beyond that, the fact remains that the £3000 appliance has failed completely after just 3 years, and Miele refuse to honour the originally offered £59 (cost of diagnostics call) credit against the fixed price repair of £309. I am heading to the Citizens Advice Bureau & Trading Standards, as I firmly believe the appliance is not of merchantable quality and the Miele Customer Service is worse than poor.
