It was something good to use before but don't know what new policies they made, looks like meta want less people to use their service.

Their AI determines what they think is sending spam on your part (mainly because I sent inquiries to overseas agencies asking about rental car policies) and then blocks you multiple times until they ban you and you have to ask for an account review. Don't bother contacting them to ask why: they respond with an AI generated message that repeats over and over again the reasons for the restriction, which tells you nothing other than, "hmmm ... it looks like you may be sending spam". In other words, their AI 'customer service' is as good as their reasoning for banning you.

Since the November 2025 update, it’s been worse than ever. I don’t know who’s in charge of these things, but it’s really awful. Was it THAT necessary to remove the USEFUL button to immediately download a file from whatsapp web to your PC, a simple icon that appeared just next to the name of every (for example) text file?

No, it was not necessary. You clearly don't know what you are doing and are bad at it.

Using WhatsApp Web on Windows 11 25H2 over a DIGI 10 Gb/s connection (WiFi 6). I'm using Web app instead of desktop applet as only the Web App handles WhatsApp for business. I have been using it on desktop for about a year now; I've had no crashes, disruptions, or problems and WhatApp Web does the job for me with no dramas. I particularly like being able to select text and translate within the app itself.

This website does the job perfectly. I don't want much from WhatsApp, and it provides those services very reliably, thie whatsapp web makes it easy for me to watch for important messages that I may expect without having to have my distracting phone on my desk next to me. Ideal functionality.

The status feature seems unnecessary to many.

WA web might be bottom 10 experiences of all time.

Why is it that every 10 minutes the whole thing freezes and needs to restart 5 times (at a minimum) before it can resume baseline function. Ever since the stupid UI changes it hasn't been working optimally. Whatever update WA web made a couple months ago - it is NOT it. Can't believe we're in the big 26 and your web is at a 2016 stage.

It is extremely bad on these newest versions. It is impossible to do the simplest of tasks, like downloading photos from the chat messages. I've tried everything on the Desktop and Web version.

The old versions used to work well.

Web has become absolute and utter garbage since November 2025. Leaves the text input when new messages in other chats arrive, or loses 3-10 typed chars before gaining focus again. Randomly hovers over items the mouse is not even near on or focusses random chats and scrolls randomly around in the chat list. Uses way more RAM and CPU, feels like it is running inside a virtual machine on the other end of the world behind a 128k modem. What breed of lab monkeys did develop, test and approve this useless dumpsterfire and say "yeah, this is a solid improvement of what did work great before, let's roll this out"?.

my whatsapp calls people, if the whatsapp conversation is open and the iphone is lying upside down with its user interface on a sofa , etc. last time i woke up because i heard a ring tone. when i took it to take a closer look, i was literally „calling“ someone without having touched the smartphone.

Having issue with device synchronisation.

They sell me sexual services although I did not sign up for it. Plentiful scams and free reign for advertisers. Scummy company just exists to harvest user data but has made a niche in Indian market. Absolute scum.

WhatsApp web often logout itself, why ?

Without any notification Whats App slap Meta AI on our screens I do not want this at all it’s invasive The circle is placed where I type and it’s forever asking me if I need its assistance I didn’t then I don’t now and I won’t in the future
Just asked Support @ Whats App take it off x 8 and not once have they addressed it I told them not AI that if I asked a 100 times they still wouldnt give a yes or no They just skirt round the edges like a politician would

Using WhatsApp for several years It is the main method of instant communication for my family in UK and abroad and for general commuications with friends and suppliers and others. It is where I go when I start my PC or mobile in the morning. I find it hard to understand all the negative reviews which seem to me to lack any real substance
