Right from the start of dealing with Worldpay, they have been better than anyone we’d dealt with previously. More recently, we’ve had the pleasure of working with Chris Giglio, who is an absolute star... See more

A helpful and patient lady talked me through all I needed to do to reset my password. Thank you.
What about using a passkey like a fingerprint or facial recognition?
It would be safer and quicker for everyone.

A big thank you to Deren Erozkal for helping our business save money and for providing excellent support throughout the upgrade of our payment terminal and the setup of Payment Link+.
Deren made the whole process straightforward and was extremely helpful from start to finish. Our business is already benefiting from both the upgraded terminal and Payment Link+, making it easier for us to manage payments and serve our customers.
We really appreciate the support and would highly recommend Deren and the service provided.
Lovely chap... explained everything well answered all my questions... very easy to order .. would definitely recommend
Company policy makes it difficult to cancel accounts.
Worldpay have not refunded our payments for 2 months now.
They did not inform us they would be doing this and have not given any reason why. We have only been able to talk to customer services who are unable to explain the reason. Meantime we have stopped taking card payments as they will only hold onto these until there is some resolution, dare say we will still have to pay there charges

My application was submitted at very short notice, through no fault of anyone. Glenn Hyde went above and beyond to help, working quickly and continuing well beyond normal working hours. It was nearly 11pm and he was still guiding me through the paperwork and helping me get everything signed off.
As I’m not particularly confident with technology, his patience, clear advice and reassurance were invaluable. I’m extremely grateful for his exceptional support and dedication. Thank you, Glenn!

We are upgrading our terminals with Worldpay. The communication and customer service have been outstanding. Mr R Winfield (Corporate Sales Director) has been particularly accommodating and supportive, taking the time to walk each member of my staff through the payments link training and new setup processes.

The process was obviously detailed - but there was always somebody from the onboarding team who was available for a call to complete the next stage.

Worldpay were extremely attentive when encouraging us to sign up and during the onboarding process, but unfortunately things seemed to fall apart once we were actually using the service.
We’ve had a number of technical issues which haven’t been properly addressed.
I initially used Payment Links+ to test a small merchandise shop and the setup experience was genuinely very positive. It was easy, straightforward and the store worked immediately. However, I’m not sure whether this is a relatively new product for Worldpay, because from the customer side it has proved quite unreliable and we’ve received a fair amount of negative feedback from clients trying to place orders.
The main issues we’ve experienced are:
1. The card payment page repeatedly timed out. Apple Pay seemed to work fine, but customers manually entering card details found that the page would refresh or crash before they could complete payment.
2. There was a considerable delay between customers purchasing and receiving their confirmation email; around 10–15 minutes on average. This understandably left people unsure whether their order had actually gone through.
3. More concerningly, during this delay the stock wasn’t updating quickly enough. This meant another customer could purchase an item that had effectively already sold out. Their payment would then be taken and automatically refunded, and we were being charged for those refunds. We weren’t even aware this was happening initially because we received no notification of either the order or the subsequent refund.
The live chat feature is also baffling. If you ring the helpdesk, you’re directed towards the online chat service. However, after going through the process and entering all of the required security information, you’re then told that the feature isn’t actually available yet.
We’ve also recently had an account review, and the way this was communicated could be significantly improved. The initial email looked sufficiently unusual that I genuinely wondered whether it was a phishing email. It then took far too long to find the correct contact number and speak to someone at Worldpay to confirm that it was legitimate.
I was particularly uncomfortable with a company as large as Worldpay requesting bank statements and other confidential business documents by email without providing a secure portal for uploading them.
Our funds are now being held while the review takes place. Account reviews themselves aren’t unexpected, but many of the questions being asked could arguably have been dealt with during onboarding. For a business that manufactures products to order, having a significant proportion of a month’s income tied up unexpectedly has a real operational impact.
The communication around the review is probably my biggest criticism. There is no obvious reference to it within our Worldpay dashboard, so from our side there was nothing within the account itself to verify that the email was genuine.
There have been some positives, particularly how easy Payment Links+ was to initially set up, and I’ll see how things develop over the next few months. At the moment, though, our experience has unfortunately been one frustration after another.

We recently set up Worldpay for our retail store and had a very positive experience. Manish was helpful, responsive and patient throughout the process, answering our questions clearly and making sure everything was set up correctly. The proposal was explained well, and any changes we needed were dealt with promptly.
Overall, a smooth and professional service. Thank you, Manish.

Insane attitude over the phone from the woman who was speaking to my mum. It also seems she enjoys constantly talking over customers and acting with the immaturity of a kid, maybe she should fix that.

I was having problems which were exhausting, but it was all sorted within 10 mins so easily.

There's a company called createpay going round calling themselves Worldpay and misselling. I warned worldpay about it but they are actually in cahoots with them. Shame. I've been using Worldpay for many years but looking to switch now over the experience.

I have tried to make a payment earlier today and to my surprise, the payments.worldpay.com web site refused to accept my connection because I dared to use one of the best VPN-s out there. So, they force people to make payments over whatever network they are on (including public wifi)rather than using a secure VPN connection. I do hope companies like this will eventually go out of business because they deserve it!

This company has been professional from day one. Always helpful staff on the phone or online, Emma in particular has been super! Very helpful, and always quick to answer any queries. The prices for their services are very competitive too.

A really positive experience dealing with Rob Winfield at Worldpay. He’s knowledgeable, personable and incredibly helpful, particularly when we had a fairly complicated account setup to work through. Rob took the time to understand what we needed and made the whole process much easier. Thank you
