Ride Inspect Reviews 

I recently used Ride Inspect for a pre-purchase inspection of a 2024 Jayco Renault Master motorhome.

Overall, I found the inspection worthwhile and it gave me confidence to proceed with my purchase. The inspector spent a considerable amount of time inspecting the vehicle, completed a road test, provided around 100 photos, and followed up with a phone call to discuss the results.

I did identify one inconsistency in the written report relating to alternator charging of the house battery. After I queried it, the inspector reviewed the report and issued a corrected version. I appreciated that they acknowledged and corrected the mistake rather than dismissing my concern.

My only reason for not giving five stars is that the written report didn’t quite match my expectations of what was advertised as a “Premium” inspection. Some sections are quite generic and don’t include measurements or detail that I expected (for example tyre tread depths, battery voltages, or more detailed documentation of some of the advertised checks). Customers should also read the disclaimer carefully, as the inspection is visual and non-invasive rather than a comprehensive workshop inspection.

Despite those comments, the inspection achieved exactly what I wanted—it identified no significant mechanical or habitation issues, gave me confidence in the condition of the vehicle, and the inspector was professional when I had questions. I would use Ride Inspect again, although I’d encourage them to expand the level of detail in their written reports so they better reflect the service being advertised.

Amazing experience with Abdul in Queensland. I was a potential buyer from melbourne for a skyline. Car looked showroom quality in photos. Contacted Abdul to go and assess the car with a pressure test on engine and boy am I glad I did. Mechanically the car was fine. Aesthetically it was horrible. Safe to say Abdul really did me a solid. You're in great hands! Really couldn't recommend him more to anybody or especially interstate buyers. Really knows what to look for and what his doing. Quick turn around and a lot of photos. An overall amazing experience.

The report from and discussion with the mechanic who conducted the inspection was very informative. This gave me confidence in my purchase. I was also happy with responses via email from the ride inspect office. I found the phone number listed did not connect.
