I ordered paint but couple days later…
I ordered paint but couple days later my order was cancelled without explanation. It appears the price quoted was an error but I ordered in good faith at the price on the website. (The error price was cheaper) . When I queried their lack of explanation I was more or less told “we refunded your money” as if that was explanation enough.

²Purchase product on line 6/8/2026. Said product was available. Received a text massage, stating product was not available and that the order was cancelled by Jack, on the email it states i cancelled the order, INCORRECT. Was not given the opertunity to change to another product, advised my payment had been returned directly, payment has not been returned directly, and according to my bank, there are no pending returns from smyths home value. When I rang again im givin the runaround, about oh it's everyone's fault but ours, now I've been informed i have to fill out a complaint form with my bank to try and get a return of my funds... smyths homevale is from what I've been told now run by aforementioned Jack, who failed to disclose this when we spoke, and it's a disgrace that I've to go through all this, because of what they call policy, so buyer, beware of purchasing from this company.. here 10/8/2026, owner has refused me service and has now gone to the garda to see about having me removed or arrested, this is shocking behaviour by smyths home value... hopefully update will follow....Jack arrived back, and has now retreated to a room, and is refusing to deal with the issue, he's acting like a child.... he claims he's the owner, now his mother is here claiming she's the owner, this is very bad business for this company. Garda here trying to resolve situation, garda ,has stated i had a problem here before, false allegation, jack is trying to do anything he can to get me arrested,,he now wants me to do a deal that states I never enter his shop again..... that won't be happening as I've done nothing wrong, except exercise my rights......

Very fast service and delighted they use DPD. Everything well packed although a piece of the case of the portable gas stove was broken. It shouldn't affect the product which I haven't used yet and keeping it for future storms and power cuts. Overall very happy.
