Decent service overall, but poor handling of missed bin collections
I have been using Oxigen Environmental for my bin collection service for many years on a monthly plan with weekly collections. While the regular collections are generally fine, they occasionally miss scheduled pick-ups on certain weeks without automatically crediting or refunding the missed service.
For example, two weeks ago, my green recycling bin was completely missed. I left it out for an extra day hoping they would collect it, but nobody came. When I rang their office today to resolve the issue, customer support promised to process a refund for the missed collection week, but this has still not been fulfilled.
It is frustrating to pay a full monthly charge when the full service isn't delivered. Oxigen is a reliable company when things run smoothly, but they need to improve their responsiveness and ensure promised refunds for missed collections are actually processed promptly.

Skip has not been picked up
Skip is still outside my home,when I have requested for it to be picked up.I have had to cancel workmen coming with diggers twice already,Very inconvenient .

Came on designated day. Very helpful driver/operator. Would like to have had more certainty re time but very helpful person in office gave a good indication. It would have been useful to have had less lead in time for delivery (nearly a week), as we were under time pressure. Also had the skip for an extra day after reporting it ready for removal. This wasn’t a huge issue except that our skip was on the public path and it was a concern for me that it could be accessed for fly-tipping of prohibited material overnight, such as mattresses, which we would have had to remove or pay for. Thankfully this did not occur - only minor “additions” were added, possibly due to busyness of road at its location. Thus the extra material was an irritant rather than a disaster! Would be happy to use Oxigen for a skip again.
