Shocking service
Shocking service. Based in Stoneybatter and we were forced to move from bags to caddy bins. Though bag service always consistent, for past three out of four weeks, various collections have been missed, completely inconsistent. And when bins emptied I've found them either going halfway down the street or left on public road. Brutal service

From the management down this company is rotten.
Worst service ever
Worst service ever. Not only did they leave rubbish scattered across the street. They also didn’t collect the bins on many occasion
When I went to cancel they charged me for an extra month after the cancellation date
Avoid at all cost
Constantly place bins in front of…
Constantly place bins in front of driveway. Numerous calls to request this to be fixed and if anything it got worse! No help from management team at all. Bins thrown back in random places down the whole road

Awful customer service agents who have little command of the English language or empathy at that. Just hang up the phone for no reason because they are idiots.
Go to city bin instead.
I have never been so poorly treated as…
I have never been so poorly treated as a costumer. Since hiring greyhound they missed more bins than collected them. When I called to customer service they blame on me for not putting the bins out, which is a lie, rather than admitting their mistakes. They are rude on the phone and do all their communications via phone so you have nothing on record to complain when they miss once again your bin collection next week. After calling more than 6 times to complain and try to sort the issue, they keep blaming me, the costumer, for their bad service and make it extra complicated every time I tried to cancel my account. I am writing here because I am tired of them dismissing me over the phone and refusing to say anything on record or give me any refund.

I messaged online app about a crack in my black bin and I was dealt with very effectively by Alan. He arranged a replacement bin for me straight away which is due in the next 4 days. Very straightforward. Thank you Alan

Truly awful company to deal with
Truly awful company to deal with. All customer service seems to be based out of India and impossible to understand what is being said. I've been goaded into arguments over nonsense on 2 occasions with Indian men and have given up trying to resolve problems. Truly awful experience

Would give 0 Stars if I could

I have to close my account due to moving house and bringing our bins with us was not an option due to where we’re moving to. Closing the account has been an absolute nightmare.
We needed our bins emptied before they were removed from the property, greyhound thinks it’s acceptable to message the morning of a bin collection to say the bins are being emptied that day? I rang to say this is ridiculous i obviously don’t have the bins out and I am not home. I arranged for the bins to be collected 2 days later on the Saturday, bins were left out Friday night, sat there all day and no one arrived to collect. Also didn’t receive any communication to say the bins were being emptied so I’m highly doubtful this was correctly scheduled at all. I rang to complain that the bins were not emptied and was told “they couldn’t be located”, funny how they were left where they are always left and for the previous 56+ weeks there’s never been an issue with the bins being collected, but when it’s needed because I’m closing the account suddenly the bins “couldn’t be located”. The customer service agent I spoke to Monday was terrible. Zero consideration for this situation and the stress it’s putting me under. I’m being told the bins can’t be emptied until Thursday, and they won’t be removed until 3-5 business days later. I will no longer live at the address and greyhound has suggested I just leave the bins out for removal? Yet if there’s any waste in the bins I don’t doubt they’ll refuse to collect them on that basis. Despite leaving them out for god knows how many days being their guidance. And if something were to happen to the bins while they were left out I’m sure they’d hold me responsible. This has been the worst customer service experience and I’m extremely regretful I ever gave them business. I strongly advise anyone to stay away and I will never return as a customer. If the process had been handled differently this would have been very different.

My mother lives in the Dublin 12 area…
My mother lives in the Dublin 12 area and I’d like to share her experience with Greyhound.
Over the last few years, on my recommendation, she has called Greyhound customer service to ask if it would be possible to have her emptied bins left outside her house after being emptied. Instead of being left outside either 3 or 4 houses in either direction.
(Just to note her house is on a main road and there are no cars parked on the street that would prevent this.)
This is a big deal for her as she is a senior and needs a support to walk. Her eyes are also very bad and she’s not very confident on her own.
Each time she has called she has been assured that attention will be given to this matter, however nothing changes.
In contrast, I use Thorntons and live on a side street off the main road, which is packed with cars, and our bins are ALWAYS left right outside our house… So it is possible!
I’m writing this review just so elderly people might get some perspective before deciding on Greyhound. I’ve no confidence that anything will change, but am confident this review, like all the telephone calls, will fall on deaf ears. It’s evident the company doesn’t care.

Avoid these cowboys
Signed up and didn't get any bins so I called back after 5 days and the said I still wouldn't get them for another 3 days. The indian call centre lied to me and said they'd deliver today however when pressed for confirmation they admitted they couldn't promise same.

Greyhound Recycling – Masters of Unintentional Littering
If you’ve ever dreamed of watching your waste take a scenic tour of your street before vanishing into the abyss of inefficiency, Greyhound Recycling is the service for you.
Let’s be honest: they don’t so much collect rubbish as redistribute it. Every bin day is like a reverse magic show – you start with full bins, and somehow end up with more trash on the ground than you started with. It’s almost impressive. Like a twisted environmentalist's paradox: the more they come, the worse the street looks.
Their trucks leave a trail of chaos in their wake, like metallic tumbleweeds of mismanagement, scattering recycling across driveways, gutters, and any available storm drain. If Greyhound had a motto, it should be: "Creating more mess so you don’t have to."
Customer service? Imagine shouting into a landfill and hoping for a reply. Spoiler alert: the landfill is more responsive.
In short, Greyhound Recycling isn’t so much helping the planet as giving it a nervous breakdown. 10/10 for irony, 0/10 for actual waste collection.
Avoid if you value clean streets, competent service, or the concept of recycling itself.
