Customer care
Bought used id3 from Kevin in sept 2025 and found all went very smooth. Sice then I had two interval calls from Kevin checking everything was ok . At 2nd check just mentioned parking sensor not working and he organised appointment to have it checked and faulty part replaced under guarantee. Just yesterday eve charging flap would not open . On my way back from airport this morning called into garage and without notice met Kevin passed on to service who checked it and replaced locking pin. The whole process took less than 30 minutes. Again guarantee covered. Very pleased with everything so far. Michael loughlin

These lads must be money laundering or something as they do not want to sell cars!!
Partner went in test drive a car & agreed a price with salesman and his manager. We went sold her car and got the money together went back the following Saturday to buy the car and they changed the price we had an agreed as that was a one day only offer!!
They then said that the could get closer to the agreed price if we took finance out with them even though the agreed price was a cash price.
And not to sure why they have a salesman in charge of selling the car if he’s not allowed answer questions himself without running his manager.
Horrible experience and completely wasted our time.
Extremely disappointing experience — months of delays and failure to supply agreed towbar
Title: Extremely disappointing experience — months of delays and failure to supply agreed towbar
I contacted Joe Duffy Kia in May to purchase a Kia PV5 Passenger with a towbar installed on collection, and I was given a clear commitment that the vehicle would be ready for 1st July. I also confirmed the requirement with Kia Customer Service, so everything should have been straightforward.
Unfortunately, despite weeks of communication and assurances, the dealer failed to supply the towbar as agreed. This has now delayed my purchase by months and caused significant inconvenience. I have spent since May trying to arrange collection, only to be told at the last minute that the towbar could not be provided.
What I expected was simple:
Clear communication
Confirmation of the correct towbar part
Delivery of the vehicle as agreed
Instead, I received none of these. I am now forced to look for another dealer who can actually supply the PV5 Passenger with the correct towbar installed before collection.
This experience has been extremely frustrating, and I would advise anyone purchasing a new Kia — especially with accessories to get written confirmation before committing. - not that this will help as it didn't in my case but it might achieve clarity
I would have given a zero as that's…
I would have given a zero as that's what they deserve. Sales agents lied, with holding money my money. Put me off ever buying a bmw again. Wild not recommend this garage to anyone who is considering purchasing a new or second hand car. Steer clear of this garage.
Unresponsive. Room for improvement on the basics of customer service
I was happy with my sales experience and the car I bought.
Basic after sales service in my experience is very poor.
Call response times, email response times, actually answering the questions asked.
Calls not returned. Requests made for a quote, the person said I will get back to you, but never did.
Was quoted the most expensive option by default. Had to really dig to get quotes for other brands and models
Tyres are significantly more expensive here that from independent tyre shops, but they do include insurance, despite the fact VW are the tyre supplier. Come on VQ you can do better than that with your buying power and still make profit, look at Amazon.
Decided to buy the tyres for included insurance.
Multiple requests to book in for a tyre replacement not responded to.
Had to go with a local tyre chain in the end
Went to Joe Duffy Athlone wanted to buy…
Went to Joe Duffy Athlone wanted to buy Volvo xc60i had a trade in a 2020 amorok with all extras they said €17000 a real insult and it took an hour to get this valuation. Fernando was his name a nice lad who knew nothing about cars or selling.
So I moved on and did a deal with an other garage who allowed me €31000 against a Volvo
Il never be calling to that place again
Poor customer Service at JD Jaguar Airside Dublin
Very poor Customer service. No interest in me as a customer. No feedback on my warranty repair and 50 days from Jaguar assist delivery to sign off of repair. car remained in Sleep mode for 30 of those 50 days. Would not recommend for anyservice activities as customer does not come first in this facility
Steer WELL clear
Absolutely disaster from Day 1 of my interactions with Swords...
They have NO concept of customer service. Promise sun, moon & stars regarding updates/callbacks and no follow through!
Im waiting 5 months for new car and no one can tell me where it is or when it will arrive in country! Storms & war to blame apparently and (their words) a very poor logistics process! Do yourself a favour and avoid at all costs...oh and apparently there isn't a courtesy car available in the whole Joe Duffy fleet....
Absolutely terrible sales experience
Absolutely terrible sales experience (Audi North Dublin)
- told me one price to my face, completely denied it the following week. Found them very condescending
Terrible
A car buying experience I hope to forget absolute nightmare there
Butchers NOT Mechanics
Terrible service, Butchers not mechanics. Lack of knowledge of their own brand, they basically don't understand anything about mechanics. Even told be me that selling the car could be viable. They took around 2k in services and the car still having the problems I will bring them to court. Actions to follow !
Lovely Staff to deal with!
The whole team in Navan are great to deal with. Very receptive from start to finish and made the purchase of our new car really easy.
Good work guys!!!
Never again!
I went into the Navan showroom the week before Christmas to look at an ID4,I ended up paying a deposit on an ID5,I stressed from the start I needed the car in January, the car was supposedly in the German port and I was told I would have it mid January,I was happy with that,I went into the showroom mid January and was told the car wouldn’t be in Ireland until 31st January and it would be with them a week later,I wasn’t happy with this but felt I’d no choice only wait,I mailed the salesman 30th January for an update and got the reply ‘all cars take approximately 12-16 weeks from order date but sometimes a bit sooner,it’s looking like end of Feb or worst case March, fingers crossed it will come soon’
That was a very different story from what I was told the first day,I went round to the showroom and spoke to the manager,I told him I wasn’t happy with that and wanted my money back,he asked me to hold off till Tuesday and he would try and get more information and ring me,it’s now Thursday night and needless to say he didn’t ring, this mess has caused me endless hassle already, and no end in sight,I wish I’d stayed away from Joe Duffy motors,I certainly won’t be dealing with them again.
UPDATE: it’s now 6th March and I’m no further on,it’s on the way and should be here soon is all I’m hearing for several weeks, total shambles!
Courteous and efficient
My car was in for its annual check. Everybody I dealt with were extremely friendly and efficient. The waiting area is comfortable with complimentary cofee and newspapers. My main dealings were with Alyssa who was excellent John Mac Inerney
I bought a car for my wife here…
I bought a car for my wife here recently and couldn’t praise the experience highly enough from the salesman Narcis to the finance manager Amanda who made everything seamless and delivered on everything we agreed on. Well done Joe Duffy group on your very professional staff !
Not recommended stay away

Got my car serviced in Joe Duffys in swords,
Great customer service.
Very helpful, Nothing was to much.
Very comfortable waiting area with tea and coffee facilities.
Highly recommend Joe Duffys Airside Swords
Wouldn't buy a new Audi after this experience.
I went into Joe Duffy in Limerick to test the waters before making a decision about a buying a new A5.
I like to see what kind of service I will get before dropping 60k on a car.
And it was BAD.
A receptionist (not a mechanic) told me that they "cannot look at diagnostic codes from imported cars because they use completely different software".
I then gave her a chance to withdraw that obvious rubbish by pointing out I had successfully used my own VCDS system to interrogate the car and I knew the issue (which is a known issue) already.
She repeated the same nonsense about being "unable to read the diagnostics", they could do mechanical work only. If they do mechanical work without checking for diagnostic codes afterwards to ensure the car is correctly working, that's not only worrying. But pathetically inept and unprofessional.
If they can't do a simple job like check a Turbo actuator ....she did tell me they just replace them..... sure, lets drop €800 on replacing a component that might just need adjustment... but whatever, it's just the clients money after all)!
Terrible experience with the Volvo Airside Service Department
Terrible experience with the service department. Booked car in for service and had asked for wipers to be replaced which should have been covered under the service plan. This was checked at the time of booking and confirmed by the service department. When the car was collected the wipers were not replaced during the service as there was none in stock. Was not advised of this prior to collecting the car. The agent then wanted to close the booking and replace the wipers in the following year service! Eventually it was agreed that the wipers would be ordered and I will be contacted when they arrive from Sweden. Over 3 weeks had passed and no call whatsoever. When I called today I was advised the wipers had arrived but when it was being collected I was then told it was not covered under the service plan! It's ridiculous that this was only advised now...when this should have been checked and advised at the time of booking the car in for service!
This is not about getting free wipers, the cost is not the issue otherwise I wouldn't be driving a Volvo but its the lack of communication and being given a false pretense that something is covered when it wasnt and to add wasting time waiting for something then going to collect it to be the told its not covered. We have 3 Volvos in the family and have purchased a car from Joe Duffy Airside last year. This will be the last time I or anyone in my family will be coming back here again. Ridiculous customer service. Avoid!!
Sticky fingers!
Brought the car to the Joe Duffy BMW bodyshop for a few small marks on wheels to be repaired. Cleared the car of all property before dropping off except for a cheap phone mount which has to be screwed into the air vents. Went to pick car up next day and yes you guessed it the phone mount was no longer in the car. A thief amongst the staff. Beware.
