So far, I am very happy with the service I have received from ZuCar in Cork
Steve, who has been looking after my purchase, has been professional, honest and straightforward throughout the whole process. Communication has always been quick and clear, and he has answered all of my questions, even the difficult ones, without ever avoiding contact. Unfortunately, not every dealer does that.
The delivery of my car has been delayed by a few days, but I don't see that as a negative. The delay was because the Airbag issue is being repaired by an official Dacia service centre, and I would much rather wait a little longer and have the work done properly than receive the car sooner with an outstanding issue.
I also received a very good trade-in valuation for my Honda Fit, which I really appreciated.
What impressed me the most is that Steve didn't want me to be left without a car while waiting for mine. He allowed me to continue using my traded-in Honda Fit under ZuCar's insurance until my new car is ready. He even offered to have my new car delivered to my workplace after it had been cleaned. That level of customer service deserves five stars.
I am now looking forward to collecting my Dacia Jogger on Monday, or Tuesday at the latest. Assuming everything goes as expected, I will have no hesitation in keeping this review exactly as it is.
I haven't dealt with the other members of the team, but I can definitely recommend Steve. He has been responsive, transparent and genuinely helpful throughout the whole process.
Avoid ZuCar Limerick
All smiles & friendly until deal is made, then zero customer service. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Recently bought a car from Steven in ZuCars Cork, professional, courteous and overall excellent service. This was our first time dealing with ZuCars and I would highly recommend.
Not worth the hassle
I have deliberately waited for a while to post this review as I wanted to see what the car I bought from Zu Car Drogheda was like after a few months,I took it to a main dealer for a service 6 months after buying it,there was over €2000 worth of repairs needed, the warranty isn't worth a damn, the fella I sent the list of issues to has ignored me for the last 4 weeks as well,I would not reccomend these guys to anyone, save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.
Very positive experience
Purchased car from Zu car in Cork . Very helpful staff especially Andrea and Becca who we dealt with . We were offered tea / coffee on entering , allowed to test drive ( on our own unlike other places ) , no pressure at all for sale.
I visited 3 places in Cork and by far they were friendliest and most courteous staff .
Answered any questions and had car ready within 2 days .
Hope after sales if necessary will be as good but can’t comment on that as yet .
limerick store dealership
Shane and Rory and all the gang in limerick dealership were prompt, eager to help and always on the other end of the phone, happy to take my call. Shane in particular highlighted something to me about my own car when I was doing to do a trade in which I was totally unaware and gave me the best advice on how to navigate around it and I bought my new car with them.
I definitely recommend this car dealership and the excellent team they have working there.
Thanks so much for everything.

I was absolutely delighted with zu car limerick .
2 lads Rory and Shane were outstanding,
Patient ( believe me they were)
Knowledgeable,
On the ball,
Got a decent trade in price,
Got a fab low mileage ev with a savage warranty ,
Their mantra “ customer always right “
( even when they’re not🙈)
Was self evident,
Honestly I spent a full day down on limerick driving a lash of cars and Rory was on hand at all times,
V professional and equally as friendly,
I’ll recommend zu car to all I know,
PS zu car Cork ranks also 👌
Excellent From start to finish

purchased a car from Zucar and later…
purchased a car from Zucar and later discovered it was sold to me without a valid NCT, which was not disclosed at the time of sale.
When I raised this issue, their response was to say it was my fault for not checking the NCT before buying the car. This is a very poor excuse from a professional car dealer. As a consumer, I reasonably expect a dealership to disclose critical legal and safety information, especially something as fundamental as whether a car is road-legal.
Selling a car without a valid NCT and then shifting the responsibility onto the customer shows a lack of accountability and customer care. A licensed dealer should be transparent and stand over what they sell, not blame the buyer after the fact.
Based on this experience, I would strongly advise others to be extremely cautious and double-check everything themselves if dealing with this company.

I went to zucar limerick early December 2025 to view a 2023 Renault Kangoo van 200 mile round trip.
It was a uk import. I done the deal put Down €99 euros deposit.
Over next few days they informed me they had lost v5 cert. Have to apply for new one.
2 weeks later they got a new one but said it listed 2 seats on van . But van has 3 seats and they have to get engineers report before they can clear it. As far as timeframe was concerned no end in site.
Prob be late January.
I said I want my deposit back.
They said no problem. I’ve rang 3 times over 3 week period and as of yet haven’t received my deposit.

Failed EV Purchase
We wanted to buy an electric car today. We had already picked a car that would suit us to buy. First of all they try to push you when ever they can to finance with a shit finance plan. Second they try to sell you all sort of Packages and dont stop talking about even if you say 10 times "We are not interested in that, only the car please!".
-They dont allow you to pay in cash.
-They dont allow it to pay from foreign bank accounts.
-The deposit is just hold by 48hours and if the bank needs to much time to transfer it, they simply just keep the deposit (Absolute Joke).
-They are not interested to find solutions and are very ignorant to customers.
Very disappointed we will never come back to this place.
If you want good service go somewhere else

Very bad experience we bought a…
Very bad experience we bought a Mercedes GLA 40k in limerick and the car has so many issues that not even frank hogan was able to fix it. We thought it was fixed the issue with the exhaust and now the car has more issues! It is our only car and we had a seat leon that was bullet proof. Also we got the "karmour" or whatever is called do not waste your money. Cannot wait to get rid of the car check them before to sell them as I do not trust anymore buying from you.
Bad experience
Bad experience . Enquired about a Skoda EV they had for sale with hopes to purchase straight away . It was like I was selling the car to myself with the lack of communication . Made an offer of €500 off the asking price which is reasonable. Was told they operate differently to other car dealerships and they don’t move on the asking price. Bought the same car with a better spec and a better price elsewhere and now that same car 2 weeks later they have marked it down €2000 . Bizarre business model
Zucar Drogheda are just the best
Zucar Drogheda are just the best. The ladies have excellent customer care. Our Mercedes E Class AMG was factory clean when it was handed to us. They made the experience easy from start to finish. I would recommend them to anyone who wants real value for money.

Great experience dealing with mainly Eimear, and also Gia in zucars drogheda.
Very helpful and professional.
Would highly recommend them to other people.
Disappointed by Lack of Support for External Financing
I approached ZuCar with genuine interest in one of their vehicles and was initially hopeful about the process. However, my experience left me disappointed and frustrated.
I requested a simple quote on official letterhead to secure a green loan through my bank — something that should be a standard ask for any dealership. Despite multiple emails and reassurances that they'd follow up, I never received the quote. I even offered to draft it myself to make things easier, but still received no real engagement.
What’s most disappointing is the lack of transparency and communication. This wasn’t about price negotiation — I was ready to proceed with the purchase — but was instead met with what felt like a push towards their own financing options.
In the end, it seems that if you’re not using ZuCar’s in-house finance, you’re not really a priority. That’s a shame, because the car and offer were otherwise appealing.
If you value flexibility and clear, honest communication — especially if arranging your own financing — I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
Couldn’t be happier
I only have good things to talk about ZuCar. They are all very helpful. Couldn’t recommend more. The sales lady, her name is Gia, she’s absolutely brilliant.

Similar experience in Cork as to other reviewers. Undervalued my trade-in by approx. 1.5-2K. No flexibility in sale price at all for the car that was on their website for a while. Which is UK import btw for which local dealer only provide 3 years warranty (in UK it is 5years) which expires in 4 months. And I was going to buy they paint and interior protection option. So basically they lost the sale and did not get better trade-in for sale for further profit (newer IRE reg., popular brand, with longer mfg. warranty and dealer service history). Good luck to them learning stock rotation principle.
