Only thinking about money!!!
Summary's are not the best, they are almost exactly as the slides from the lectures. Servers keep crashing at the exam week so I couldn't even learn from the summary cause they don't let you download it. Also when I got the physical book, they say that I have to look at the online summary cause they haven't put everything in the summary when they sent all the summary's to us.
When you want to get a refund because you changed your mind on a training course or because you couldn't use the summary because of the servers crash, they just ignore you.

The summary looked concise and well together. The chart in the beginning looked very good and helped me to prepare for my exams.

I have had a great experience with Athena. Yuki, Nihade and Sander have really helped IBA students at the VU. I am really grateful for the way they actually care for fellow students as I have learnt they are/were students too. After a year not buying from Athena I came back in part due to the way they handle everything via whatsapp and in person. I have also noticed a big difference in the way Athena responds to students as an overal. After a terrible experience with Hicham, I found the opposite with Athena. Thanks guys :)

I do not recommend buying Principles of Economics 1 summary, as it is incomplete, so not enough to get anything higher than 7.5

Poorly made summaries, impossible to pass Finance 1 (UvA BA) using them because they are incomplete or outdated

A lot of the content doesn’t line up with the actual lectures, there are frequent mistakes, and some important parts are just missing. I’ve also reached out a few times with no response, which makes it even more stressful during exam prep. Would really appreciate better accuracy and some support when things go wrong.

I purchased the Athena Studies training session recordings for €160 the day before my exam, with the clear intention of using them to prepare for the resit (as I hadn’t studied for the first take). Upon payment, I received login information and a message saying the recordings would be available until my next exam, which was happening less than 24 hours later.

This made no sense, so I immediately reached out to customer service to clarify. Instead of providing a clear answer or any support, the representative was incredibly disrespectful and dismissive, telling me it was “common knowledge” that the recordings expire after the first exam and questioning whether I had even gone to the exam—something I still don’t see the relevance of.

Nowhere on the website was this expiration date mentioned—I searched thoroughly. The lack of transparency is unacceptable, especially considering the high cost. I requested a refund immediately, explaining that I had purchased the materials specifically for the resit and had no problem keeping the payment if they would simply extend access. Instead of offering a solution, they kept replying with condescending messages and eventually stopped responding altogether.

To make matters worse, I did manage to watch part of one recording before it expired—and the quality was shockingly poor. The tutor often seemed unsure of the correct procedures and skipped over exercises, leaving students with 10+ minutes to answer basic multiple-choice questions. Definitely not worth €160.

Save your money. This company does not care about students' learning, only about taking your money with vague policies, subpar content, and disrespectful customer service.

Great service! I had lost access to one of my online summaries since I had purchased it a year ago. Unfortunately I realized it on a Friday around midnight - Still my issue was solved within 5 minutes and I received access immediately, really great experience!

you pay almost 20 euros for re-written slides and in case of ANY problem, there is NO way of getting a refund. I accidentally ordered a summary of a different university and couldn't get my money back on an obviously unused summary, and of course exchanging it with the correct summary also not an option. Also, they are ALWAYS late on deliveries and a few times the summary arrived after the exam date and I still could not get my money back. unacceptable, unprofessional, don't waste your money. simple as that

Nice and concise summaries. Everything as expected

Athena summaries offers very good training sessions and courses that summarize the materials in a clear and understandable way. I use them for all of my exams and always recommend them to others.

At least for my program, the summaries are rather thorough and to the point, picking up the most important information but giving enough background to know what is going on theory wise. The trainings I've had were good in quality, and all my questions were addressed.

Athena simplified the knowledge and helped me understand the course material easily. Their trainings also helped me with last minute preparation and I was able to score a desired grade.

perfect to study for uni especially for courses that have a lot of content

This company is beneficial when it comes to the summaries. Teachers often upload different pats of books readings, and in order for us to make notes it can become unstructured and disorganised with the topics. That is why relying on athenas summaries is a good option, since they write the imporant informatin that you need and in a language that is understandable. However talking about thhe time, it is a bit stressful that sometimes athenas takes long to upload summaries, for example now, we are almost in week 5 and they are still not uploaded.

Paid for a course that wasn’t given because of sickness. Company won’t respond to my complaints and thereby refuses to give back money. Very unprofessional behaviour.

They sell incomplete summaries and the the customer service is non-existent. They don't care about their customers.

I have both followed many courses and bought summaries from Athena and that always helped me so much with exam preparation. Tutors are always really helpful when you need additional explanations and summaries are really good especially for theory based courses. And they often include practice questions too!
