Invideo is an agentic AI video creation platform. Tell it what you want to make, a film, a brand campaign, a microdrama series, a performance ad, and its agents take it from script to final cut, routing across 200+ AI models to write, storyboard, generate, and edit every shot. From solo creatives to creative enterprises. Every video starts the same way: an idea in your head and a hundred tedious steps between you and the finished cut. Under the hood, invideo's agents route your work across 200+ AI image, video, audio and music models, like Seedance, Kling, Nano Banana, GPT Image, ElevenLabs and more, choosing the right model and writing the right prompt for every single shot. And the agents remember. They hold your characters, follow your brand guidelines, your story in context, so you never repeat yourself. Want to try a new costume, location, or lead actor? Change it across every shot in one instruction instead of regenerating dozens of clips. When you want your hands on the work, it's all there: previz, VFX, hybrid filmmaking, a full timeline editor, multiplayer collaboration, and custom agents you can cast into roles like cinematographer or sound designer. Create films where you direct and the agents sweat the details. Ads that stay on brand in every format from one brief. Microdrama series that scale without losing the plot. One idea, spun into dozens of cuts for every channel.

100% scam
tried to create a 90 second video on the free trial about 2 images completed for the video and i ran out of free credit, decided to do the first plan at £17.50 and 750 credits surely that would be enough? NO. it created about 35 seconds of the video and ran out of credits. absolutee scam. unable to talk to anyone about it for a refund as well. disgusting
Predatory credit trap
Predatory credit trap. Zero output. Absolute waste of money.
In 25+ years in marketing, I have rarely seen such a deceptive business model.
The Trap: The AI burns 100% of your monthly credits on useless internal "prep work" and loop questions, leaving you with ZERO finished video.
Absurd Support: Support's official excuse? "The system performed background operations, so the credits count as used." Charging customers for non-existent internal labor without delivering a product is pure extortion.
The Upsell: After draining a double batch of credits with no result, their only "solution" was asking for MORE money to upgrade.
Do not fall for this scam. You will lose your money, time, and sanity.
⭐ 1/5
⭐ 1/5 — Misleading, Extremely Expensive & Unacceptable Customer Service
My experience with InVideo has been extremely disappointing.
The platform is misleading about what it can realistically produce and how much it will actually cost. I attempted to create a 9-minute cartoon and ended up looking at a cost of well over £100 in credits for ONE video, with 6+ hours of generation time.
One of my biggest issues is that the AI repeatedly makes its own errors, yet you are charged credits to correct those errors. In my experience, those credits were not refunded, despite the mistakes being generated by the platform itself.
I also found the customer service and handling of my complaint completely unacceptable and, in my opinion, unethical. Rather than properly addressing the excessive credit consumption and problems with the generated content, I was left paying for a product that did not perform as I reasonably expected.
Potential customers should be extremely careful before purchasing credits or committing to this platform. The advertised subscription cost does not necessarily reflect what it can actually cost to produce a finished, usable video.
I would not recommend InVideo based on my experience.
not worth it
spent 100 usd. and half a day promting and editing. really poor quality and generally waste of time. Seen better options out there.
Invideo service is terrible... cause the user to waste a lot of money on useless clips
Terrible service. It creates clips with a lot of flaws (like a bag in the middle of the wall, a power socket up on the wall, a door with 4 or more locks, etc). It seems like it does it on purpose to eat out your credits cause you pay for generating the clip and you also need to pay for removing items that you didn't ask for. I realize they are very malicious on using up your credits after spending a lot already on the generated clips. so, I did a very thorough analysis and plan with the AI agent to ensure the next generated clip is what i want. But, it still fails badly (eg. it is supposed to generate a clip with a perpendicular shot of the portrait on the wall). The AI agent understands it and spell out the camera path with the perpendicular shot of the portrait. But, the generated clip was still not on a dolly walk of the camera and land perpendicular to the portrait and do a zoom it. The AI agent admits: 'The model ran the dolly and the turn as one arc... It never stands where a head-on of that wall is possible, so the push is still slightly angled... The camera path is the miss...'. I ask for a refund as it did all i can to avoid a second generation of the clip and is not my fault. Below is the agent answer: 'invideo does not offer refunds after you have started using the service. I cannot refund this clip.' All in all, it is more like a service set up in a way you will not be able to create clips close to what you want without spending a fortune on it. I ended up spending more than USD 200 with useless clips. My opinion is to avoid the service like a plague!
Absolutely awful platform
Absolutely awful platform. Eats up credits without anything beneficial being spit out. It ignores instructions and then the AI is rude, leading me to believe that it’s all by design.
You will not be able to make your favorite heroes fight.
I tried to make a video with it's helper ai, specifically a superhero fight. And it wouldn't generate at all due to copyright of the characters. I did the same prompt in Venice.ai and it worked great. Do NOT use this service.
Customer support is top tier
Customer support is top tier. Their team is responsive, thoughtful, and collaborative. They honor their policies with care and integrity. It doesn’t get any better than that from a customer support standpoint. Thank you Ray, and the InVideo support team. I highly recommend InVideo!
These people are a total rip-off…
These people are a total rip-off because you have to pay for a subscription to trial the platform, but if you dont like it or realise it is not for you in the 7-day refund/trial window, they keep the entire year subscription with no refunds - even though no video was generated for me and multiple errors were made during video processing generation.
Straight up scam pricing, do NOT trust this company
Absolutely furious with ai.invideo.io. I paid for credits expecting that to actually cover my usage like any normal service would work. Instead, the second I'm mid-project, I get hit with a message saying my credits are "no longer sufficient" — demanding MORE money before I can even finish what I already paid for.
This isn't a pricing model, it's a trap. They lure you in with a number that sounds reasonable, get you invested and dependent on the platform, then squeeze you for more the moment you're too far in to walk away. There is zero transparency about actual credit consumption before you buy — because if there were, nobody would pay upfront. This is deliberate.
Save your money and your sanity. There are plenty of other AI video tools out there that don't treat "how much will this cost me" like a trade secret. I will never use this service again and I'm warning everyone I know to stay away.
AI Video not up to the task
I am finding it impossible to produce a simple video using AI Invideo. At first I asked them to produce the video for me, that was a disaster, so I asked Claude design to create the video, however, it was not able to do the voice over, so I asked AI Invideo to do that. It kept changing from an Australian to a Scottish accent during the 60 second video. I asked it to change it to an English accent throughout and it started to mix English and Scottish accents. Then it changed it to a Texan accent. There were also other problems: timing the words on the screen to the voice over was an impossible task; and sentences became overlayed. Another thing to note is that I paid a full years subscription but before it had even produced a single video it asked to add credit of an additional $50, for a video that turned out too bad to use.
Unpaid invoice for completed content placement
We completed two content placements for InVideo through their agency representative (Martin Playvoda) . The agreed work was completed, and the articles were published with links to InVideo's website.
The total value of the completed work was $1,000. The invoice was sent to the agency representative, who acknowledged receiving the live links and invoice and initially informed us that the payment had been forwarded to their finance team. We were later told there was a PayPal issue and were asked to allow additional time.
Despite multiple follow-ups, we did not receive the payment or a further response. As a result, we had to temporarily remove the links until the outstanding invoice is settled.
We contacted InVideo directly to make them aware of the unpaid invoice and asked for assistance in resolving the matter.
Our concern is not about the quality of the service—it is about payment for work that was completed and delivered. We hope InVideo takes this matter seriously and helps ensure that publishers and agencies are paid promptly for completed work.
Based on this experience, we cannot recommend working with InVideo until the outstanding payment issue is resolved.

Ive never given a low review before
Ive never given a low review before. Im always able to come to an agreement with a platform thats fair to them and me as well. In this case I bought the annual plus membership for $200. Before I even finished one of my faceless youtube videos it said I needed to add credits. I contacted them and told them Id like a refund because it wouldnt work for me but to keep $20 to cover them. They informed me that I could upgrade to a version that would suit me. Rather than being upset I agreed to just change my $200 annual subscription into just 2 months of the upgraded platofrom so I could at least get as many videos as I could and just chalk it up to a learning experience. Then they informed me I can't trade that way I'd need to buy a full year of the subscription at the higher rate. It's at that point that I expressed my disappointment in a civil manner but did tell them I couldn't recommend them on my youtube platorm I even offered to let them keep $50 of the $200 just to try one last time to be fair to them to resolve the issue and was again denied. At that point I gave them words of advice from an older guy that's owned multiple successful businesses and that I can tell them without a doubt that word of mouth is a powerful thing. Its a shame that a business these days cant learn what customer service truly is and how to treat customers with respect.
Invideo the best AI tool…
Not only is Invideo the best AI tool for video generation, but they have a massively quick response support team. Super nice and helpful.
Worse AI experience ever
Worse AI experience ever. The system is designed to get you to keep spending money on tokens and never delivering a final product, ever. Each time promising, this time it will be right, and it never is. $500 later and I had nothing but empty promises. I have the entire transcript, the apologies for the mistakes, and the money spent. It is a scam - it is designed to spend tokens nothing more. It is in my opinion committing fraud.
Extremely bad
Extremely slow, super bad frames, the AI is super basic.. I didnt like it at all, and I paid for the subscription, which wasnt cheap either. The competition is much much better in quality of the videos, image, everything.
1 STAR EXTREMELY MISLEADING AND A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY
My experience with InVideo has been absolutely terrible. I genuinely regret spending my money on this app.
The biggest problem is that it does not properly follow the script or instructions you give it. You can spend time carefully writing exactly what you want, only for the AI to generate something completely different. Then, when you ask it to correct or re-edit what it got wrong in the first place, it uses MORE of your credits.
That is what makes the whole experience feel incredibly unfair and misleading to me.
Why should customers lose credits correcting mistakes made by the AI? You ask for a simple correction, more credits disappear. It still doesn't come out right, you try again, more credits disappear. Before you know it, your credits are gone, and you're being encouraged to BUY MORE CREDITS.
It honestly feels like a system designed to burn through your credits rather than help you create the video you actually asked for.
I paid for an AI video tool because I expected it to save me time. Instead, I spent more time fighting with the AI, repeating instructions, correcting unnecessary mistakes and watching my credits disappear.
And the most frustrating part is that you are paying for its mistakes.
If the AI ignores your instructions, why should YOU have to pay again to correct it?
I found the whole credit system extremely frustrating. It creates a cycle of:
Give instructions → AI gets it wrong → request correction → lose more credits → still not right → lose more credits → get told to buy more.
For me, that is unacceptable.
I would NOT recommend InVideo based on my experience. If you're considering paying for it because you think you can provide a script and have the AI accurately turn it into the video you requested, please be very careful.
I wish I had known how frustrating the credit system was before spending my money.
Save your money, save your time, and save yourself the frustration.
1/5, I would give ZERO stars if that were an option.
Avoid this awful platform
This platform is a complete rip off and appears to be nothing but a scam designed to rob users out of their hard-earned cash. Not once did it produce a usable product, yet it burned through hundreds of dollars. Zero visibility over what credits are actually used for, zero accountability, zero credibility. Worst customer experience ever.
