Russell came to the rescue

Russell came to the rescue!
Having received a new box today, Russell was able to talk me through the process - correcting my mistakes - and getting us back on line!
Really straight forward and very helpful!
Many thanks,
Mark

Really helpful support from Katie at Phonely. a couple of issues with the connection and we went through a few possibilities, not yet solved, but hopefully all in hand.
She was then able to offer help in another area - which was great and easily explained!

Second time [more than] lucky!

This was the second trip we had booked through SE - and I have to say it was SO much better than the first [Marrakesh - see review on here!]
We went to the beautiful island of Ischia - just off the coast of Naples and within spitting distance of everyone's favourite [and I mean EVERYONE!!!] Capri.
Firstly, the transfers were first rate and often first class and we couldn't fault these.
We had opted for the Hotel Terme la Pergola on the island - a three star hotel but very much traditional and family run.
The position was outstanding - in the shadow of the [dormant] volcano and with fabulous views over the coast and sea. The hotel was on many levels, it being nestled in the hillside - so not what you might call accessible - but very manageable [we are 60/62] and was fine. We asked for a sea view room and also came with a large balcony. The room was bright and airy and nicely furnished, the bed was really comfy and the bathroom more than adequate. The air conditioning was a saviour, given the weather for the week was around 36 degrees!
Breakfast was plentiful - if a little sweet. Coffee was great - even when the machines were not fully functioning!
The evening meal which you chose the night before was again plentiful and very traditional. lots of anti-pasti salads to start, then a starter, a main course and a dessert. All of which were tasty and simply served. However the waiting was outstanding and the service could not have been better.
Much of the food was grown in the hotel garden; as was the wine grown in their own vinyard [had far too much of this as it was beautiful as well as being competitively priced!]
The guests were from all over including Italy [which is always a good sign!] and friends were easily made.
The Shuttle bus was available every day to transfer you to the towns of Cassamicciola or Lacca Amena. They ran till lunchtime and then again later in the day til late evening.
The trips we went on to Prochida was fun; a quick wander and a shop. The second was Saint Angelo and Lacca Amena, which again were lovely with a short stop for lunch. The third trip we declined [was Capri] and friends who went said all they basically did was queue - which is why we didn't go.
But overall - definitely a five star trip, and one which we will seriously consider doing again!

Kia was so helpful in getting us sorted with our trip to Cancun, via Bogota.
The flight was very full and she managed to get us seats near to each other and next to each other for parts of the journey.
She kept us well informed of what she was doing, even when there were issues with the email bouncing back!

Traditional is one thing...

Booking process was fine and reasonably straightforward. However, getting to some of the finer details was incredibly difficult - such as the days of some of the trips on the itinerary. We went to Marrakech. The whole trip started badly - not the fault of SE - as the plane landed in Fes not Marrakech - due to fog. No arrangements were made by Ryanair [BEWARE!] and we had a £240 9 hour taxi ride to Marrakech that we hadn't planned on! However, the guide still managed to meet us successfully albeit 12 hours late!
My one and only major gripe was the Riad: yes we opted for this in the heart of the old town for a traditional experience. However, the room was incredibly basic - bed, 2 lamps, wardrobe with no hangers, and a bathroom fitted very poorly. It also stunk of sewage. We were only there one night as we then left for the mountains. But were returning there three days later.
The Atlas Spa was amazing and a total different ballgame! Couldn't fault it.
We returned to the Riad; different room - same basics - so I asked for hangers - given 2! Suitcases on the floor is not a 5 star experience. At least this room didn't smell, but it was basic!
No-ne in the hotel wanted to do anything without being tipped [taxis, tuk-tuk, toilet roll etc]. The riad itself was also down a dark alley - frequented by 'groups' at night - would not recommend as a 'family friendly' option. the breakfast was different every day - so didn't know what to expect and couldn't order as such ...it just came!
All left us a bit out of sorts for a 5 star experience.
Having said all that the tour guides and pick ups/transfers could not have been better.
We did the Balloon ride which was amazing and would thoroughly recommend, unlike the riad 'experience'!

Quick and Easy!

The whole booking system and referral options are very easy to navigate. There are always a whole range of options given to suit time scale, price, location, hotels and experiences, as well as being able to fix the flight and best airport.
There are regular updates from the group and the payment method was quick and easy, again with various options. ATOL bonded secures peace of mind.
Now sit back and wait with great expectations!!

It's so easy to purchase online with a Next account. The choice is wide, the styles are varied and there are most sizes available.
Once you know your size and how well it fits, it's really great and you can't go wrong. Things also arrive quickly!

Little Owl Barn lives up to it's name!

A beautifully presented barn with great accommodation. The bedrooms were warm, spacious and quiet, with superb bathrooms and showers. At night time you could hear the owls hooting! Magical!
Downstairs the open plan nature was welcome and well presented with great facilities, especially the log burner. The owners were extremely dog friendly and dogs were made welcome.
The village is quiet, but the pub is a riot! Lots of places around to eat and drink, and York only a short hop away. A wonderfully, relaxing few days, thank you!

It was overpriced for what we had

It was overpriced for what we had. It was nice, but nothing I couldn't have sourced similarly locally for about half the price. A bit disappointing really. Have cancelled further deliveries and membership.
