All great

Been with THM for 3 months, and all has been great. Signal good for data, texts and phone calls. Only issue has been accessing Voicemail sometimes does not connect, but a few attempts resolves the issue. Really pleased for how much the cost is per month. I ended up moving another sim to THM which has been equally good. I contacted CS by email a few days ago and got a really quick reply.

TERRIBLE online ordering experience

TERRIBLE experience.
Tried to purchase online using 2 gift vouchers but couldn't so tried phone help, then instore, back to telephone, then told their T&Cs state they can't accept any more than 1 per purchase. Went through 2 weeks of email tennis before they resolved, in combining to 1 voucher. Purchased and then issued tracking, but a week later still not despatched, then enquired why to be told it was now out of stock!
Got reissued the gift voucher but I wanted my money back to my generic gift voucher, which they could/would not resolve.
Considered Trading standards but instead caved in to comprimising on another slightly different colour that was in stock just to move on.
Got issued another tracking and the order then took another few days before it was despatched (do you have a problem with DHL?) so the original delivery slipped another few days.
It was about over 3 weeks, from originally seeing the item and trying to order, to actually receiving the item (which was not my choice but I had no alternative).
Getting through for support over the telephone was at least 20 minutes queuing every time.
I will NEVER go through ordering with Dunelm again.

Delivery reliability has really gone downhill

Something has really gone wrong at Royal Mail. It seems that punctuality of delivery has really failed in the past 6 months. I've noticed an increased frequency of failing to deliver on time, and now I would say it is a 100% failure rate. Last week I had a delivery that was due to be delivered between 10am and midday last Thursday, but then the target time and date was removed, with no update. It eventually arrived Sunday 4pm unannounced.
The latest delivery was due today 10am to midday but then it was rescheduled from 0730 - 1930. It has not arrived, and I expect it to arrive sometime in the next few days if at all.
I now try to avoid posting via RM, and I have zero confidence in their delivery window.

Review of Lebara Mobile (UK)

Reliable and cheap

After being with Lebara for a few years I think it's worthy of leaving a review.
Joining was easy, though there were issues with porting but it was overcome in the end. I've now got 3 SIMs with Lebara. The contract management through the App has been solidly reliable and the monthly payments always as per the agreement and it's nice to get an email to confirm it's about to go through.
Prices are extremely low compared to some, and the EU roaming with the allowance is great. Price rises are very limited too.
I am very happy with Lebara and have also persuaded 2 other family members to port to Lebara, and they too have found the service great.

Review of UberEATS

Delivery was over 2 hours late

Not impressed. Food ordered 4 hours in advance arrived over 2 hours out of the time slot. Spent all that time trying to reach the restaurant on the phone, who were permanently engaged, for an indication of the expected delivery time. Ended up cooking our own food as it was so late.
Since then I have tried to raise a dispute with Uber but am being sent away as it appears late delivery is not important to discuss.
Won't be using again.

Is cancelling this difficult?

I am trying to seek an answer to my services minimum contract date with the expectation of cancelling my broadband and home phone.
An hour on the phone to Virgin and my call was terminated (their end), and so I started an online chat (1 hour 30 minutes and still counting as I write since I had the message "Getting you to the team now...".
I have then joined a Whatsapp chat to reach the team, and again, 45 minutes in and I am waiting via that method of communication.

This has now consumed 3 hours of my evening.
If I have to speak to Virgin again about my cancellation, I will be drafting a letter and sending it via registered post to them, taking a fraction of the 3 hours it has taken (so far) to reach them.

Had an account for 5+ years. No more.

Had an account for 5+ years with no delivery issues, but the one time I did (item held at customs but tracking says it is delivered to the local collection point), they refused to refund and closed the case.
I have bought £100's of items through them, but this has led me to close my account.
You have lost my custom Aliexpress.

Totally reliable broadband

My second review for Aquiss, now approaching 2 years with them, and still really happy with them. I've had pretty much all ISPs in the past but Aquiss is the best for how easy it is to reach them, their friendly manner, and the reliability of the connection. And where all other companies regularly put their prices up above inflation, Aquiss are extremely fair with their pricing.
Aquiss - keep providing the reliable service, the pricing, and the excellent customer service please.
I have recommended you to all my friends.

Reliable and easy to save up more than planned.

I have been a customer for over 3 years, and have really enjoyed the simplicity of the saving method, and even more so now they are offering the option of investments. It has proven to be solid and reliable, and is backed up by a friendly customer service.

Brilliant mobile provider, and for me, the best coverage of the networks. Their prices are really good, and their systems seem very reliable, tracking used allowance and billing. I have had the need to contact their customer service and found them very polite and helpful. I am a very happy customer.

Very pleased, so took out another year of cover

Taken out 2nd year of cover, after having spoken with Susan in Customer services . I have had the need to claim in the first year and found the process straightforward. They were excellent in keeping in touch with progress of obtaining the engineer.
And their prices are very competitive when taking out a policy covering multiple home appliances.

Brilliant broadband provider

Been with them since September. Installation of the FTTP went very smoothly, with great communication from Aquiss. The service since then has been very reliable, but the only occasion I needed to get support, they were extremely friendly and very fast to resolve the issue.
The only broadband providing company I can think of that seems still small enough to care for their customers.

Further to my previous review

Further to my previous review, Now TV have continued to email me 2 or 3 times a week since my pass ran out about 2 weeks ago, asking for me to update my payment details.. But I can't because my account is locked out and I can't solve that issue because they have no customer service.

Funny how they are quick to tell me when they can't get their hands on my money.

Can I stress to all others to use a card payment method that you can easily block, such as a Revolut card, so YOU have payment control. Now TV cannot be trusted at all.

How can they carry on taking money with no customer services..?

After being a reasonably happy customer for about 4 years, since the Covid-19 caused Now TV to close their Customer services, so they have completely left customers like myself extremely frustrated with no help to solve account issues.
About 4 weeks ago I found all my connected TVs would no longer access my paid for content, and then access to my account online is for some reason blocked. Resetting the password doesn't solve the problem.
So I'm now left paying for a service I can't connect to and no way of solving the issue.
Now TV help via twitter say they are looking into the issue but this has been 4 weeks now.
And since Now TV take payment via a card so I've no way of stopping this other than to block the card with my bank.
After I get an acceptable resolution to this uniquely bizarre (to Now TV) issue, I will never give them any more of my hard earnt money EVER.

***Tip***- Try to use a payment method, such as a Revolut card, that you can block Now TV from taking further payments when you don't want/expect them to (as it seems quite common that they take money without your authorisation), and thus save yourselves the hassle of speaking to the non-existent Customer service to get a refund.

Fast and efficient order process. Very pleased with the glasses.

Ordered after trying 4 different glasses frames as part of the home free trial. Placed order on the Saturday, and they arrived on the Friday. Very pleased with the quality, and would definitely recommend this company for the free home trial, as a great way of searching for the right glasses for you.

Consistently great value

I keep returning each year for new glasses, as Goggles4u year after year are the best value company (and I've tried a few others). Quality of the frames have been excellent for the price, and the low price allows me to always have 2 sets of glasses at home, in case of loss or damage.
