CRA states both halves of attaching to a session on a remote daemon with identity-plane certificates, CLI first: what the CLI presents and checks, and what the daemon accepts, refuses and ends. It is the attach the Box Provider abstraction's connection metadata leads to, and the foundation the browser client builds on later. CRA-003 named only where the key and refresh token live. It now requires a signer that never releases the key, hardware-backed where the machine offers one, and CRA-031 keeps both out of every session, closing the dotfile-loadout and forwarded-agent paths. This is the contract the browser client later meets with a non-extractable WebCrypto key. The identity epic (inbox#648) moved the per-attach policy check and hardware-backed keys to follow-ons. CRA-026 and CRA-027 are retired into a Non-goal pointing there, and CRA-003 keeps the CLI key in the OS credential store this cycle, since the identity plane certifies the P-256 keys hardware holds only under its FIPS profile. CRA now has an epic of its own, carved from the CLI-attach half of inbox#513's One Grammar and Closed Laptop stories. The frontmatter points at it and the stories section is transcribed from it; every acceptance criterion there maps to an existing requirement. An expired certificate no longer rides the connection-lost retry loop: CRA-032 renews it and verifies the host again before the next attempt, and CRA-033 stops the loop with exit status 5 when renewal fails. CRA-012 refuses against the configured protocol range, so it is testable while the range's width stays open. Also widens the ls open question to deduplication and unreachable daemons, and bumps updated. Verdict COMMENT — COMMENT: policy.actions.request_changes is off; policy.actions.approve is off.
Scope. One file: the new docs/specs/15-spec-certificate-remote-attach/15-spec-certificate-remote-attach.md. 31 requirements (CRA-001-025, 028-030, 031-033) in six groups, each with a T0 tier and a named nextest verification command; EARS syntax is exercised consistently; the Success/First slice/requirements/Non-goals hang together, including the CRA-032/033 renew-before-retry addition from the head commit 76820dd. No dependency changes, no clobber of existing files; the spec keeps the reserved sequence (GHS 12, MCC 13, MMI 14 in flight).
Correctness. Two substantive issues plus a nit. (1) The 'Same commands, local or remote' group binds min session stop as session-termination grammar, but the CLI's session verb is min session destroy (SessionCommand::Destroy, DestroySession RPC; top-level min stop shuts down the daemon and never takes a session); the spec never names destroy and records no rename, so as written CRA-009/023 and the first user story bind a command that does not exist (finding 1). (2) The three cross-spec links (12/13/14) point at directories present only on sibling branches; on main they 404 until those PRs land — worth stating the intended merge order or dropping the links (finding 2). (3) Five leftover <!-- Acceptance criteria, for the EARS step: ... --> HTML comments are invisible in the rendered doc yet duplicate the requirements' substance and can drift from them; sibling specs 12/14 carry none (finding 3).
PR metadata. The description still says '29 requirements' and 'Staying attached (CRA-014-017)', while the file carries 31 requirements and CRA-032/033 live in the staying-attached group; the body should be refreshed to match the head commit.
What I could not check without a build. CRA-033's 'exit with status 5, the architecture's exit code for an authentication failure' relies on a gominimal/arch document that was not reachable at its cited URL, so the exit-code convention is unverified. No compilation or test run was performed per the review contract; the verify: commands are plausible nextest invocations consistent with the repo's justfile test runner.
What ran
5 probe(s), all self-reported — every entry below is the model's own account of what it ran. None of it is host-attested, so none of it can gate a blocking verdict.
Verification log
1. Verify the local session-termination verb in the CLI, RPC, and docs — self-reported
SessionCommand (crates/minimal/src/lib.rs:192-238) has List/Activate/Attach/Exec/Run/Destroy/Rename/Policy/SetupZed/Hooks and no Stop; Command::Stop at lib.rs:70 is the top-level 'shut down the minimald daemon' verb; minimald_rpc exposes DestroySession, no StopSession; docs/reference/cli-min.md documents
session destroyand barestop, neversession stop. grep found zero occurrences of 'destroy' in the new spec, so the spec never records a rename.
2. Confirm the cross-spec link targets exist on the reviewed tree — self-reported
ls docs/specs on HEAD shows 01-11 and 15-spec-certificate-remote-attach only. ../12-spec-github-sessions, ../13-spec-min-client-core, ../14-spec-minimald-mesh-ingress exist on origin/docs/spec-* branches but not on main, so the merged doc's three relative links 404 until the sibling PRs land.
3. Run gitleaks over the tree — exit 0 · self-reported
gitleaks scan completed with no leaks reported.
4. Confirm every CRA bullet has a matching verify line — self-reported
31 requirement bullets (CRA-001-025, 028-030, 031-033) and 31 verify: lines, one per requirement; PR body still says 29 requirements and CRA-014-017 for the staying-attached group, so the description did not catch commit 76820dd which added CRA-032/033.
5. Check CRA-033 exit-code claim against the cited architecture doc — self-reported
The referenced gominimal/arch spec (gatehouse-spec.md) is not reachable at its cited URL, so 'exit with status 5, the architecture's exit code for an authentication failure' could not be verified externally. Left unverified rather than reported as a finding.

Verdict COMMENT — COMMENT: policy.actions.request_changes is off; policy.actions.approve is off.
Scope. A single new file, the CRA spec (480 lines), matching the PR's stated intent; the doc records retired CRA-026/027 and covers 31 requirements across six groups (counted: 31). The added CRA-031/032/033 answer the previously-threaded renewal/re-attach gap.
Clobber. None. git log 31c4db2..HEAD shows a linear chain of spec commits and a merge of main; the head file is 480 insertions with nothing overwritten.
Correctness. Two findings. The heavier one: the spec repeatedly names min session stop, which is not a CLI verb — SessionCommand (crates/minimal/src/lib.rs:192-209) has no Stop variant, the top-level stop shuts down the daemon, and the session-termination verb is min session destroy (docs/reference/cli-min.md). The misuse recurs at five sites and nowhere else in the repo. This duplicates an existing open thread (github-actions at line 160, unresolved, no reply) — it survives in the head revision, so I am re-raising with a fuller recurrence catalog and the fix spelled out. Second, line 48's Roles list ends in a dangling "developer" fragment. Also checked with clean result: requirement count and the six-group claim in the PR body match the doc; every requirement is T0; CRA-018/019, 021 ("five inputs" matches its verify name), 025 and 028/029/030 read consistently; the MMI/GHS/MCC links now point at PRs so they resolve independently of merge order.
Could not check. The two gominimal/arch citations (CRA-012's "Client maintenance" and CRA-033's "Exit codes" — the claim that exit status 5 means authentication failure) could not be verified: the arch repo 404'd via WebFetch and the link targets sit outside this checkout. The verify-lines' tests do not exist yet, which the PR body already discloses (foundry P004). No build was run, per contract.

Verification log
1. Read .review/pr.json, pr.diff, threads.json, learnings.md; whole-file read of the new spec — self-reported
Determined PR is docs-only (one new file). Identified pre-existing open threads: CRA-009 'min session stop' (unresolved) and leftover HTML comments (unresolved). Learnings.md empty.
2. rg -n 'session stop|SessionCommand|Destroy' crates/minimal/src/lib.rs — exit 0 · self-reported
SessionCommand enum (lines 192-209) has List/Activate/Attach/Exec/Run/Destroy/Rename/Policy/SetupZed/Hooks — no Stop. Top-level Command::Stop (line 809) dispatches to cmd_stop, which shuts down the daemon.
3. rg -n 'stop' docs/reference/cli-min.md — exit 0 · self-reported
cli-min.md documents bare top-level
min stopas a deliberate exception that acts on the daemon, never a session; session termination is#session-destroy(min session destroy).min session stopappears nowhere; asession stopinvocation would be a clap parse error.
4. rg -n 'session stop|stops sessions|, stop|or stop' docs/ crates/ excluding the new spec — exit 0 · self-reported
The
min session stopmisuse is confined to the new spec file — no other docs/crates use it, so the fix is local.
5. cat docs/specs/TEMPLATE.md — exit 0 · self-reported
Template shows the spec's section structure; the doc follows Context/Success/First slice/Users and stories/Requirements/Non-goals/Design reasoning/Security considerations/Open questions shape. Template's own comment blocks instruct deletion on first use; the spec's author-added EARS comments were left in place (covered by an existing unresolved thread; not re-raised).
6. Count CRA requirements and check PR-body claims against doc — self-reported
31 requirement bullets across six groups (4+5+5+6+8+3), matching the PR body; CRA-026/027 retired and not reused, consistent with the retirement note; all remaining tiers are T0. Role line 48 ends in a dangling 'developer' fragment.
7. WebFetch gominimal/arch architecture.md and raw.githubusercontent.com variant — self-reported
Both return 404; the arch repo is not readable from this sandbox (no gh, no auth). Could not verify the CRA-033 'exit status 5 = authentication failure' citation or CRA-012's 'Client maintenance' link.
8. git log --oneline 31c4db2..HEAD and git diff 31c4db2...HEAD --stat — exit 0 · self-reported
Seven commits (merge + six docs(specs) commits) touching only the new spec file; 480 insertions, no deletions — no clobber of prior work.

Today's CLI ends a session with `min session destroy`; it has no `session stop`. CRA-009, the Success line and the owner invariant now name `destroy`. CRA-023 becomes one owner rule over every operation on a session, including those added later, so running a command in or destroying another subject's session is covered by a named test. Verdict COMMENT — COMMENT: policy.actions.request_changes is off; policy.actions.approve is off.
Scope: matches the stated intent exactly — one new file, docs/specs/15-spec-certificate-remote-attach/15-spec-certificate-remote-attach.md, no other files touched. 31 requirements in six groups (CRA-001..025, 028..033; 026/027 retired and not reused), matching the PR body's count.
Clobber: none. The diff adds a file and touches nothing else; no recent work is reverted.
Correctness: I checked every claim that is checkable in this repo. CRA-009, the Success line and the owner invariant name destroy (not stop) — consistent with the CLI's SessionCommand (crates/minimal/src/lib.rs:192-238), which has no Stop verb for sessions; the resolved threads confirm this was the fix in b123b25. The verify: lines use cargo nextest run -p <crate> <name>, which is this repo's own one-test command (justfile test recipe, _nextest), and all three referenced crates (minimal, minimal-client, minimald) exist. CRA-021's "five inputs" count matches its text and test name; CRA-032/033 close the expired-certificate reconnect loop that an earlier thread asked for; the MMI/GHS/MCC links point at PRs (#1356/#1351/#1355) that resolve regardless of merge order. The one open item is the Roles line (line 48): it ends with a bare trailing "developer" with no descriptor, which reads as a truncated list entry; this is the single unresolved thread on the PR and it is still present on the current file.
Not checked: I did not build or compile (out of bounds for this review). The Gatehouse §/T-number citations and the arch exit-code-5 claim are external to this repo and were not verified. The absent status: frontmatter field is disclosed in the PR body (foundry main no longer requires it; #1368 removes it from the template) and the spec-lint workflow is non-blocking, so I did not raise it.

Verification log
1. read .review/pr.json and .review/pr.diff — self-reported
PR #1374 is a docs-only addition of the CRA spec; changed_files lists exactly the one new spec file; intent is the CLI remote-attach epic (gominimal/inbox#668).
2. read .review/threads.json and .review/learnings.md — self-reported
learnings.md is empty. All threads except one are resolved; each resolved claim was re-verified against the current file (stop->destroy in CRA-009/Success/CRA-023, updated date 2026-09-11, PR links for MMI/GHS/MCC, CRA-032/033 renewal ordering, discovery as an open question). The only unresolved thread is the dangling 'developer' in the Roles line, which is still present at line 48.
3. enumerate CRA requirement IDs and count — self-reported
grep of the file yields CRA-001..025 and 028..033 (no 026/027), 31 requirements in six groups — matches the PR body's claim of 31.
4. verify verify: commands against repo conventions — self-reported
justfile
testrecipe runscargo nextest run; the spec'sverify:lines usecargo nextest run -p minimal|minimal-client|minimald <name>, matching the template's 'repo's own command for one test'. All three crates exist in the workspace.
5. check CLI session verbs and exit-code claims — self-reported
SessionCommand (crates/minimal/src/lib.rs) has no session-level Stop; CRA-009's
destroymatches. Exit status 5 for auth failure is cited to the external architecture doc and is not checkable in this repo.
6. check frontmatter status field across sibling specs — self-reported
Every other spec in docs/specs carries a
status:field; CRA omits it. This is disclosed and argued in the PR body (foundry main no longer requires it, #1368 removes it from the template), and spec-lint is non-blocking, so not raised as a finding.
7. git log --oneline -- docs/specs/15-spec-certificate-remote-attach/ — self-reported
History shows the spec was iterated through review (b1abe37..b123b25); the Roles line was not touched by any of the fix commits, confirming the dangling 'developer' is still unaddressed.

The architecture admits list, attach, rename and stop on a certificate connection in v1 and keeps create and destroy local-only (Gatehouse §7.4, MMI-027), so CRA-009, the Success line and the owner invariant name `stop` again. CRA-023 stays one owner rule for every operation, with the admitted set as its examples. CRA-034 ends the re-attach loop when the provider reports the host PAUSED, names the command that resumes it and exits 7, so an unattended CLI never keeps a paused host running. The create/destroy discussion now links the architecture issue. Scope matches the title: one new spec document, docs/specs/15-spec-certificate-remote-attach/, for the CLI remote-attach epic (gominimal/inbox#668). 32 requirement bullets in six groups (CRA-001–025 and CRA-028–034; 026/027 retired) with a verify line per requirement and every cross-reference resolving; the PR body's count of 31 predates CRA-034 and is one short \u2014 and its matching “31 P004 findings” lint claim is stale for the same reason. Clobber none: git log --follow on the file shows nine shaping commits; CRA-009's stop→destroy→stop path is a deliberate, architecture-grounded reversal (ff07a47, Gatehouse §7.4/MMI-027 admit stop), not a revert of unrelated work. Correctness the spec's current-state claims hold: minimald's SSH server binds only the Unix and vsock listeners (crates/minimald/src/main.rs:857,882), so “refuses every connection that does not arrive that way” is accurate today; SessionCommand (crates/minimal/src/lib.rs:192) has no stop verb and there is no host command, exactly as the spec says. One finding below: the re-attach loop bounds two of three unrecoverable failure classes but not host-certificate verification failure. Not checked: the correctness of the cited Gatehouse/architecture exit codes 5 and 7 and the gatehouse-spec sections, which live in gominimal/arch (private); the specified T0 tests cannot be run by design (the PR body records them as unwritten).

Verification log
1. grep -oP 'CRA-\d+' + '^\s*- \*\*CRA-' on the spec — exit 0 · self-reported
32 requirement bullets (CRA-001–025, 028–034), CRA-026/027 appear once each in the retirement note; every cross-reference resolves to an existing number, no dangling refs.
2. grep -c 'verify:' on the spec — exit 0 · self-reported
32 verify lines for 32 requirements; each names an existing crate (-p minimal, -p minimal-client, -p minimald).
3. rg listener binds in crates/minimald/src — exit 0 · self-reported
SSH server binds only UnixListener (main.rs:857) and VsockListener (main.rs:882); no TCP SSH listener, supporting the spec's claim that only local-socket/vsock connections are served today.
4. rg named verify tests under crates/ — self-reported
No matches for a sample of the named tests (remote_attach_offers_only_the_signin_certificate, reattach_stops_when_host_paused, expiry_closes_connection_sessions_stay_detached); none of the T0 tests exist yet, consistent with the PR body's P004 note.
5. git log --oneline --follow on the spec file — exit 0 · self-reported
Nine shaping commits on this file; the destroy→stop reversal in CRA-009 (b123b25, ff07a47) is deliberate and grounded in the architecture's v1 remote set; nothing reverts unrelated work.
6. read .review/threads.json and learnings.md — self-reported
All ten threads resolved; CodeRabbit's thread on CRA-017 unbounded retry after expiry was closed by CRA-032/033, which cover renewal failure only. My finding targets host-certificate verification failure in the same loop, a class no resolved thread covers.
7. read crates/minimal/src/lib.rs SessionCommand — exit 0 · self-reported
Session verbs are List/Activate/Attach/Exec/Run/Destroy/Rename with no Stop; top-level stop shuts the daemon down. Confirms the spec's claim that
min session stopis new and the Design-reasoning note aboutmin stop.

Correctness — What I verified without building: (1) every CRA cross-reference in the text resolves to a defined requirement, and the security invariants' covered by: lists enumerate only existing IDs; (2) the five user stories' acceptance criteria map onto CRA-001…034 (e.g. story 4's throttle+close-after-third ↔ CRA-025, host-ca/no-anchors criteria ↔ CRA-004/006/007); (3) min host resume in CRA-034 matches the in-flight remote-hosts CLI spec (RHC-033, min host resume <host>), and its failed-host/provider-unreachable exit-status 7 usage aligns with the same sibling; (4) CRA-009's min session stop grammar is new — SessionCommand today is List/Activate/Attach/Exec/Run/Destroy/Rename/Policy/SetupZed/Hooks, with stop only at top level — but this is deliberately documented in Design reasoning and already threaded to exhaustion; (5) the verify: crates (-p minimal, -p minimal-client, -p minimald) all exist, and in-process attach (CRA-010) is consistent with the russh-based minimal-client. Could not check: the gominimal/arch exit-codes/host-CA claims (the link returns 404/unreachable from this sandbox); the sibling 16-spec-remote-hosts-cli corroborates statuses 5/7 but is itself only on a branch. One prior open thread stands: the CRA-017 re-attach loop (line 216 now) still has terminal exits for renewal failure (CRA-033) and a paused host (CRA-034) but none for a host certificate that never verifies under CRA-004, so an unrecoverable daemon would be retried forever — this is already an unresolved thread on the PR, so it is not re-raised as a finding here. Nothing here needed a build; none was run.
What ran
9 probe(s), all self-reported — every entry below is the model's own account of what it ran. None of it is host-attested, so none of it can gate a blocking verdict.
Verification log
1. rg -o 'CRA-[0-9]+' and sorted inventory of the spec — self-reported
IDs 001-034 all referenced; 026/027 appear exactly once each (retirement note); 32 requirement bullets defined. No dangling or reused ID found.
2. grep -c 'tier:' and 'verify:' in the spec — exit 0 · self-reported
32 tier lines and 32 verify lines, one per requirement, all T0 — matches the PR body's '32 requirements' claim.
3. git diff --stat 456763e dce84cb — exit 0 · self-reported
Single file, 509 insertions. No other path in the PR, no clobber of recent docs work.
4. rg 'SessionCommand|Stop|Rename|List|Attach' crates/minimal/src/lib.rs — exit 0 · self-reported
Confirmed no
min session stopexists today (top-levelstopstops the daemon); the spec'sstopgrammar is admitted as new in Design reasoning and in resolved threads. Not re-raised.
5. git show 75366f2:docs/specs/16-spec-remote-hosts-cli/16-spec-remote-hosts-cli.md — exit 0 · self-reported
Sibling spec defines RHC-033
min host resume <host>and uses exit status 7 for unreachable/failed host and 5 for permission/identity refusals — CRA-034's command name and exit codes are consistent with it.
6. Diff-level secret scan over the new file (gitleaks/grep) — self-reported
No credential material; the only 'token' matches are prose about the refresh token. Clean.
7. Read .review/threads.json and .review/learnings.md — self-reported
All threads resolved except the open CRA-017 re-attach terminal-condition thread (resolved: false), which the current text does not close; learnings list is empty.
8. WebFetch/raw fetch of gominimal/arch links (exit codes, Gatehouse sections) — self-reported
Arch repository returned HTTP 404 from this environment (likely private), so the spec's attribution of exit statuses 5/7 and Gatehouse section claims could not be independently verified; sibling-spec consistency is the closest available check.
9. Cross-reference map of the five story acceptance-criteria blocks to CRA IDs — self-reported
Each story criterion traces to a defined requirement (CRA-001-003/031, 004-008, 009-013, 014-017+032-034, 018-025, 028-030). No orphan criteria or uncovered requirements found.

Scope matches the title and the epic: one new 509-line spec file, docs only, no code or dependency changes; 32 requirements across six groups as the body states, the CRA-026/027 retirement gap explained and deliberately not renumbered. Clobber none: the file is new and git log on the path shows only this branch's commits (6c9cbc2, 76820dd, b123b25, ff07a47, 8f0e1f6, dce84cb); no recent main work was reverted. Correctness the requirement-to-story mapping is consistent (each acceptance criterion binds to its CRA), and all 32 named T0 tests are absent from crates/ (rg across the workspace), which is exactly the stated P004 to-do state rather than a defect. Two findings below: CRA-017 leaves two permanently-rejecting failure classes inside its unbounded retry loop while CRA-033/034 establish terminal exits for the two it carved out, and CRA-020's named remedy is itself refused. Not checked the exit-status claims (5, 7), Gatehouse section numbers and MMI-027/Gatehouse §7.4 aren't verifiable from this sandbox — WebFetch and curl to gominimal/arch both return 404, so they are reported as cited rather than checked. gitleaks clean. No build attempted (docs-only change).
What ran
5 probe(s), all self-reported — every entry below is the model's own account of what it ran. None of it is host-attested, so none of it can gate a blocking verdict.
Verification log
1. rg every named verify test (32) across crates/ — self-reported
All 32 named T0 tests (CRA-001..034) are absent from the workspace; every one resolves to 0 hits, so the lint's P004 finding per unwritten test, as the PR body reports, is consistent with what is on disk.
2. grep -c 'verify:' and 'tier:' and grep count of CRA- requirements in the spec — self-reported
32 verify lines, 32 tier lines, 32 requirement blocks (CRA-001..034 with 026/027 retired) across six groups — matches the PR body's '32 requirements in six groups'.
3. git log --oneline -8 -- docs/specs/ and -5 -- the spec dir — self-reported
The spec file is new on this branch; its history is the five PR commits plus the base merge. No fix from a recent main merge is silent-reverted; no clobber.
4. gitleaks detect --no-git --source . — exit 0 · self-reported
No leaks in the workspace; the diff itself is prose with no credentials.
5. WebFetch and curl gominimal/arch architecture.md (#exit-codes) and gatehouse-spec.md — self-reported
Both return 404 (raw.githubusercontent.com and github.com/blob); the architecture-of-record repo is not reachable from this sandbox, so the exit-code and section-number citations in CRA-033/034 and the Gatehouse references could not be independently verified.

…skew failures CRA-004 offers no way to accept an unverified host and CRA-012 refuses an out-of-range daemon identically on every attempt, so a re-attach against either can never succeed. Give both the terminal exit CRA-033 and CRA-034 already give a failed renewal and a paused host, and have CRA-020 name certificate authentication as the remedy rather than a bare public key, which it would also refuse. Scope matches the title: one new file, docs/specs/15-spec-certificate-remote-attach/, the CRA spec for the CLI remote-attach epic — content only, no code, no dependency or workflow changes. Clobber none: the only prior history on this path is this PR's own commits (git log --all -- <spec> shows ten spec commits and nothing else); no recent fix is overwritten. Correctness the document is internally consistent. I enumerated all 34 requirement bullets (CRA-001…036, CRA-026/027 retired and explicitly addressed), chased every CRA cross-reference in Non-goals, Design reasoning, Security considerations, Generality and Open questions, and found no dangling or mistyped ID. Each story's acceptance criteria lines up with its requirements (1s-doubling-to-30s retry, 5s detached-not-exited, repaint-then-output, supersede, 100ms/1s/third-refusal throttle, expiry close within 1s, OS-store key custody, no key/token into any session). The head commit adds CRA-035/036 with exit codes 6 and 7 plus named tests, closing exactly the terminal-condition gaps the two most recent review threads asked for; the exit-code taxonomy (5 auth / 6 verification / 7 host-unreachable) is applied consistently across CRA-033/034/035/036 and the Success line. Readings I considered and did not report: CRA-036 mapping a reachable-but-skewed daemon to exit 7 ('host cannot be reached') is semantically debatable but is a documented citation of the architecture's exit-code table, and I cannot read that table; min session stop and min host resume not existing in this repo's CLI reference are deliberate forward references the threads already settled; the PR body's '32 requirements' count predates CRA-035/036. Not checked (would need access this environment does not have): the external gominimal/arch exit-code and Gatehouse/Box-Provider citations — the repo is private (WebFetch 404, no gh), so every link to it is unverifiable rather than confirmed. The verify: lines name tests that do not exist yet, which is the expected state for an unmerged spec (the PR notes the spec-lint P004 findings for exactly this). No actionable findings remain that the ten commits of review and 30 resolved threads have not already settled.
What ran

Verification log
1. Read .review/threads.json (30 threads) and .review/learnings.md — self-reported
All 30 threads resolved; learnings empty; nothing to suppress. Threads on CRA-003, CRA-009 stop/destroy, CRA-013 discovery, CRA-017/020 exit codes, EARS comments and Roles line are all settled in the current text and deliberately not re-raised.
2. git log --oneline --all -- docs/specs/15-spec-certificate-remote-attach/ — exit 0 · self-reported
Ten commits, all this PR's own (head 5e1c7be adds CRA-035/036 and the CRA-020 reword; ff07a47 returns CRA-009 to the architecture's v1 set). No prior unrelated work on the path, so no clobber.
3. Read the current spec file and TEMPLATE.md — self-reported
Compared structure against docs/specs/TEMPLATE.md: front-matter fields, Context/Success/First slice, Users and stories, EARS requirements with tier+verify per bullet, Non-goals, Design reasoning (incl. Generality), Security invariants, Open questions all conform. Template's scaffolding comment block is removed.
4. Cross-check every CRA reference and the exit-code taxonomy in the doc — self-reported
Enumerated 34 requirement bullets (001…025 minus retired 026/027, plus 028–030 and 031–036); verified every CRA-ID cited in Non-goals, Design reasoning, Security considerations, Generality and Open questions resolves to a real requirement. Exit codes used consistently: 5 in CRA-033, 6 in CRA-035, 7 in CRA-034 and CRA-036.
5. rg 'session stop|session destroy|host resume|session rename|session ls' docs/reference — exit 0 · self-reported
CLI reference has session list/destroy/rename/exec/run but no
session stopand nohost resume; both are declared forward references in the spec (architecture v1 remote set; remote-hosts spec), which the resolved threads accept.
6. WebFetch github.com/gominimal/arch/blob/main/architecture.md (exit codes) — self-reported
Returned 404 — gominimal/arch is private. The arch exit-code table and all Gatehouse/Box-Provider citations are therefore unverifiable here, not confirmed. 'gh api repos/gominimal/arch' also unavailable (gh not installed).
7. Scan diff for secrets, dependency moves, and leftover authoring narration — self-reported
Single markdown file; no Cargo.toml/lock/minimal.toml changes, no credentials, no template scaffolding. EARS-step HTML comments and the Roles-line trailing 'developer' are deliberate (story-script transcription, per resolved threads).

Adds
docs/specs/15-spec-certificate-remote-attach/(CRA) for gominimal/inbox#668, the CLI remote attach epic carved from the remote sessions epic (gominimal/inbox#513).What it specifies
Attaching to a session on a remote daemon with identity-plane certificates, CLI first. 32 requirements in six groups:
min session attach/ls/rename/stop, the architecture's v1 remote set, with the same grammar (creating and destroying stay local-only in v1); in-process attach on a machine with nossh; protocol version agreed first. It binds all five of #668's stories: the same 8000 commands for remote sessions, sessions outliving a dropped connection, reaching only the genuine host, owner-only access, and credentials staying on the developer's machine.
How it relates to the other specs
Five open questions remain, each with the reason it survives: where
min session lslearns remote daemons (arch#47, addressed by #648 S3a), copying files out of a box, the path to a remote daemon beyond the published endpoint, CLI sign-out, and the width of the protocol version range.Verification
spec/spec_lint.py --repo-root .: 31 P004 findings (named tests not written yet) and nothing else. The installed 0.3.0 plugin additionally reports F004 for the absentstatus:field, which foundry main no longer requires and docs(specs): refresh TEMPLATE.md; there is no status field #1368 removes from the template.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
