Picadex Avis 

Ordered an air conditioner, 2nd July. Supposed to be next day despatch and arrival within 5 working days. Tracking says it wasn't even despatched until 8th July. It is now 23rd July and the tracking has not been updated since the 18th. I have informed my bank that I believe it to be a scam. I emailed Picadex, but they have not responded.

I ordered an AC unit on June 29th with delivery stated to take 5-8 days. Customer service was initially very quick and helpful, refunding 10% of the cost as the sale button didn't work when I ordered. Since then, nothing. Phone and emails go nowhere. Expecting the worst, I thought I'd been caught in a scam. A few weeks later and much to my surprise, a full refund arrived in my account, no explanation. Since then I have received daily emails saying the delivery is still on its way. Yesterday an email stated I needed to contact the delivery company 4PX to discuss issues. Apparently that company delivers from China, not Birmingham, which is where Picadex says its warehouse is. I did not contact the delivery company.
I was lucky to get a refund but will ignore all further messages and suggest others don't get involved with Picadex.

Shocking company! They state 'next day shipping', this is a complete lie. My air con unit was eventually shipped 5 days after it was ordered but in this time their website was down, nobody answered my calls or whatsapp messages and emails bounced back as 'undeliverable' so I instructed our bank to ask for a refund.

My order of 3 pcs of portable air-conditioners (Criovex – 12000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner)
has NEVER been delivered, it's been overdue for about 10 days.

But Picadex sent me an email notifying me that my order of that 3 pcs of air-conditioners "delivered" on 22 July, 2026, which is entirely FAKE.

Very strangely, on that same day, a cheap fan was delivered to my address. The fan's origin was from China. The shipment was sent from Hong Kong.

I've now noticed on Picadex's website that although their contact number is a UK number, their office address is in HONG KONG.

Zero stars. The item arrived a month after it was ordered. The fan looks like a cheap plastic toy. I tried to cancel the order, but my request was ignored. I would not recommend this product at all.

Do not buy from this company. I’ve purchased an AC unit on the 09/07/2026. I was told next day dispatch & it should arrive by the latest on the 13/07/2026. The item is no where to be found. When you select “track your item” it takes you to a page where it says “website is down”. You can’t speak to them because they never pick up. Used the WhatsApp service, emailed them & tried to call them several times to cancel the order, they simply don’t pick up or reply back. I’m glad I paid it via Klarna where I have buyer’s protection or else my money would have disappeared. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. SCAMMERS!!

Same experience as everyone else on here. Ordered an aircon unit in June due to the heatwave - said next day dispatch and warehouse in Birmingham but clearly in Hong Kong. Had my order 'dispatched' but never any tracking details. I then received a refund yesterday which I was surprised to receive but appreciate having my money back. Just not sure what the point was to keeping my money for a month and pretending to send an item?

If I could give this company a minus star rating I would. I ordered three baseless fans beginning of July thinking Based in Birmingham it wouldn’t take long. Having to keep chasing, they were received after I made a complaint this week. On arrival they are absolutely not what is advertised and one the motor insides rattles to the point it sounds like it will explode. They are cheap looking and I’m appalled with the purchase. More appalling is the lack of customer service I will be going to trading standards as they have taken £70 from me. In the fb page they don’t allow comments or review now I know why. AVOID THIS COMPANY TOTAL CHEAP TAT.

I ordered an air conditioning unit. It took 2 weeks to say it was dispatched and that was after writing to them to threaten them with a bank charge back from the credit card company. But no item ever turned up. Then after 4 weeks I suddenly got a refund for the full amount. I think I was a lucky one. Because at least I didn't receive something useless. Avoid. This company is NOT locally based in Birmingham, the phone number is never answered and you will get scammed. I reported them to the national cyber crime website. And I advise anyone who has been scammed by them to do the same.

Ordered an air con. Never recieved it.ive waited a month.it was supposed to be quick gelivery. I reckon I’ve been scammed. Tried ringing customer support no answer.theyve even stopped my emails.

Really poor ‘company’.

The products advertised on the website aren’t the same products that you receive. Cheap, and doesn’t perform a shown on website. They charged me three times for ONE product that I ordered. When I flagged this up to them, they only gave me a refund for one product, and sent two products out to me. I am still waiting on a reply to my latest email, demanding my money back.

Cools fairly evenly reliable enough so far but performance is exactly what you'd expect nothing more.

Ordered an air con unit which still hasn’t arrived after 3 weeks. They say all items are dispatched from Birmingham but was given a Chinese tracking number and it hasn’t moved.

Emails weren’t answered either. Managed to get a refund through my credit card company but avoid these scammers!!!

Website said item in stock and dispatched same day if purchased before 4pm.
Over two weeks later I receive an email to say refund has been issued.
Previous to this multiple emails were sent to which I had no response.
Don't waste your time buying from this website!!!!!!!!!!

AVOID! Absolutely awful scam company! Bought an air con unit as the site looked legit at first. Considering they claim to be in Birmingham (which I now know they aren’t and are using a fake address), it took 2 weeks for any kind of update. Got to the delivery date and still no item. I kept having fake automated messages from what’s clearly a bot pretending to be a person, claiming it was still on its way and they were doing everything they could. I had a link where I could track the order and I had some updates on there in English and they’ve since turned into Chinese writing so I translated and it says my item was apparently delivered. It was not! Luckily managed to get my money back from my credit card company but even they were already aware of this Picadex company being a huge scam because it seems to be getting so many people. Their site has been taken down twice now I’ve seen. Hopefully no one else will be tricked into buying from them.

OMG a scam!! Bought an air-conditioner which hasn’t arrived thought the company was based Birmingham as website suggests. The payment went through to a Chinese bank and the mobile phone is not being answered or emails.

Avoid Picadex at all costs

Absolutely terrible experience. I ordered an item, my payment was taken immediately, but my order never arrived.

Every attempt to contact the company has failed. Emails bounce back as undeliverable, the tracking page stopped working, and there has been no response to calls, WhatsApp messages, texts or Facebook Messenger.

I have had no customer service, no product and no refund.

After reading many other customer reviews, it appears I am far from the only person to have experienced this. I strongly recommend doing your research before ordering. I have now reported the matter and am pursuing a chargeback through my bank.

Save yourself the stress and buy elsewhere.

Held my 400 quid for 3 weeks then cancelled my order after assuring me its on the way the whole time. Refund still isnt through. Awful and customer service takes days to respond at a time

Scammers!!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! They took my money, never delivered the item. Had to report this as fraud to my bank and log a crime with the Police. DO NOT buy from this company!!!!
