I can’t fault the denim dress that I ordered. The quality of the product is of a high standard, both in material and workmanship.
I was impressed with the customer service too. The kept me informed at every stage of production and let me know when it was ready for shipping.
I was so pleased with my experience that I have ordered another dress.

I was so impressed with my Maddie dress that I have since ordered three more. What can I say. They are a lovely design a perfect fit and can be dressed up or down. I love the fact they are made to order with no waste and help children. I will definitely be ordering more 🤩

I’m always careful about ordering clothes I’ve seen on Facebook but I’m absolutely delighted with my Maddie dress. It took a while to arrive but I love the fact Unfolded don’t create waste by over producing clothes that end up in landfill! The dress is gorgeous..perfect fit and beautiful material. I’ll definitely be ordering again.

Such good ethics with this company. Unfortunately there was difficulty with the delivery of my order but customer services were right in to it and organised a refund due to a summer dress not wanted by me now it’s Autumn. Couldn’t praise their prompt action enough. Don’t hesitate to order from this company.

Mistake made initally (my error), but sorted immediately by customer service, fantastic and without any quibbles. Dress has now arrived and material is beautiful, with a perfect fit. Just ordered second as so pleased with first. They do take time to come but when something is being made you would expect that. Well done, Unfolded!

There’s so much that’s sustainable about buying from Unfolded. Waiting a few weeks for delivery is worth it . My first dress was even better than I expected. When I saw a new design in needlecord - my favourite fabric for colder days AND in my favourite colour of lavender blue, it resulted in my second order. I tell my friends about Unfolded and they all say they’d wear dresses more if they had ones like these

SOOOO disappointed. I ordered a size 16 for my daughter. She is now a size 14 so hoped it would be loose. It is tight everywhere, under arms, across boobs around waist. It hangs poorly. Stitching is poor coming undone in places. There is no refunds anywhere!!

I ordered a dress from them on the 15th of July . It is the 4th of September now and I still haven’t received it . I can’t understand what is taking so long for them to make it and ship it . I mean , is the material handwoven by elves and fairies in some kind of hallowed place far far away ? Is it then carefully arranged on to the back of a delivery snail which is then sent on the way to deliver this precious item to me ? By the time I might eventually get it Summer will be a distant memory and I won’t be able to make any use of it until next year . So I will carry on sitting here waiting with bated breath for the arrival of this incredible precious garment . I might update the post to report on the fit and condition of it as soon as I have received it . Let’s hope that I don’t have to send it back because I don’t think I could do that to the poor snail 🐌……

Love the ethics behind this company. They keep you updated by email on the timescale for delivery. Love the dress I ordered so much I have ordered another dress from them. The quality and fit is exceptional.

The dress i received was well made and the fabric was very good quality. However the dress was far too big and extremely long, I am 5ft 10in so did order long, but the dress was too long for me.
I was very interested in the ethics of the company but the experience has cost me £9 in postage as technically there was nothing wrong with the dress. I won't risk ordering again

First order and made on 25th June some ten weeks ago and still not received. No apology or communication from them.
Just requested a refund.🤷‍♀️
Not so ethical after all? What a disappointment had planned on ordering more if they were genuine.Time wasters.

Wow! Just received my first order of the Helena Angel sleeve. It is a perfect fit and worth the wait. Ive just ordered the same dress in the new cinnamon colour. Will definitely support the goals and values of this company.

My dress arrived, i am delighted as the fit is perfect. I have ordered 4 more dresses ( the wait is the only slight disadvantage, but as I was aware of the time it would take to arrive ) I ordered long sleeves so the trimming was perfect for the cooler days now.

Although the dress I order was beautiful and beautifully made, it sadly didn't fit me as well as I'd hoped so decided to return it for a refund. I accept that I have to pay for the postage which was £4.50. What I didn't realise is, another £4.50 was deducted from the refund! I have looked again at the refund policy and cannot see anything that states a further deduction is taken. Sadly, this will deter me from further purchases from this company.

I've recently bought 2 dresses from Unfolded in the sale. I wanted to check the fit & quality before committing to paying full price. I love the ethos of the company & the dresses are gorgeous. The quality of the fabric & sewing is fantastic. The style of the dresses is lovely & they are comfortable & easy to wear. They have really good pockets! I'm size 16 & they fit true to size. I also love that they show their dresses on ordinary women of different shapes & sizes; it makes it so much easier to decide if they'll suit or not. I especially love the shirring on one of the dresses which makes it a perfect fit & very comfortable. I would highly recommend that give this company a try.

I placed an order in May and was given a July date delivery. This was perfect for the event I was planning for. However this date then changed to the end of August and then the end of September! Way past the first delivery date and my event. I wasn’t anticipating a summer dress arriving for the beginning of Autumn. The only reason I saw the delay was because I looked at my order status.

My experience with Unfolded Customer Service, although polite, was deeply frustrating.

Empty Cancellation Offers: After correspondence with Customer Services regarding the status of my order. Which I was told was due to an internal system error I was explicitly invited to cancel my order as it was beyond the time I was initially told. I accepted their invitation within hours. They then promptly ignored my acceptance. Instead they emailed claiming the logistics process was already too far along and my parcel was ‘unexpectedly’ ready to despatch. This still took several days to arrive at the despatch centre in India and several more to be posted. Meanwhile I was still in correspondence with customer services. They refused to intervene and stop the parcel at the despatch centre. It took over 10 days from my acceptance of their cancellation offer to receiving the parcel. They insisted they would not honour the cancellation and refund me until I returned the (as yet received) parcel.
I could not understand why the parcel could not be stopped at the despatch centre and never received a clear answer. Internal processes were always the reason given.
Strictly speaking a seller can withhold a refund from despatch to return. However I maintain Unfolded had my parcel and should be able to stop the despatch anytime until the day it is posted. In this case it was 7-10days.
I repeatedly confirmed I did not want the dress and that I would return it if they would not stop it. But no refund was issued. This was deeply frustrated because they had offered me the cancellation!

Delayed Refunds: Even after I returned the parcel using a prepaid label; which I had to repeatedly ask for, they withheld issuing my refund for several days. I had to email again to say my tracked parcel had been delivered to their warehouse and I was still expecting my refund.

Rigid Operations: The Unfolded policy treats standard-sized catalogue items as if they are bespoke items; hiding behind internal process delays rather than complying with standard UK selling regulations.

I really wanted to like This is Unfolded and wanted to support their ethical, sustainable practices. But while they appear to skate in the grey area of consumer law I can’t. I have no doubt the products themselves are lovely and no doubt I would have liked the dress.

If you choose to shop here, be prepared for frustrating bureaucratic hurdles if you need to cancel or return standard items.

I ordered 2 dresses- at different times- and really should have sent them back as very unflattering on my figure. I am a size 16 and both were fairly tight across the bust, the A-line design made my bust look huge!! I have tried to wear them- they are really comfortable, but will just wear around the house. My fault and I appreciate the ethics of the company, but just not for me.

This is an unusual shopping experience as you have to wait so long for the items to arrive but this is because of the company's commitment to 0 waste. I asked a question via the chat facility about size as there was a bit of ambiguity between the two options for me - garment size and body size. When my dress arrived I was absolutley delighted by the fabric and the fit, so the chat was really helpful. I highly recommend this company. .

I've been ordering for almost a year. My first order had issues that were addressed in a manner to make me believe they were a good company. The clothing was high quality.

My second order was fine. My third and fourth were baffling. The communications were erratic. I was told things were shipped that had not. My archive-sale items were supposedly on their way, but were not. Only after I reached out did they move. The AI bots gave weird responses to questions. There was more.

There was no response like with my first order to offer future discounts and various options for the aggravation. Just sorry, this is our business model. I'm not sure if this company aways was this bad and I just had a good customer service person on my first order or if something changed.

I liked this product enough to have bought 7 dresses, 4 trousers, 2 tops and a skirt. I'm disappointed and done shopping with them.

Follow up. I replied to the request for information with all the order numbers.

Great Value. I ordered my first Maddie dress earlier this year. It did take some time to arrive but it was worth it. I’ve had many compliments when wearing my dress and have recommended Unfolded to friends. I ordered Celia trousers and they arrived in time for my holidays and they are really comfortable and cool, ideal for summer. I have now ordered another Maddie dress in deep pink .
