I signed up on 12 August, and the connection went live on the 19th. I’m not even a month in, and I’m very happy with Zen so far.

I moved from Sky Broadband onto Zen Unlimited Fibre 2 (part-fibre) with a FRITZ!Box 7530. Speeds have been consistent at around 74 Mbps down and 18 Mbps up. The line feels cleaner and less bloated than Sky’s did, and my results and test show that as well, the first ten days had a bit of variation while they fine-tuned it, which I expected due to the DLM settlement.

The modem is a big plus. Sky’s hub was locked down. The FRITZ!Box isn't; you can actually set it up properly. Wi-Fi in the bedroom is better too. Full bars on my phone. Sky used to charge extra for “stronger Wi-Fi” on their same kit that they provided, lol.

It’s still part-copper rather than full fibre, and I’m looking forward to that being installed when it’s available here. For what I’m on now, I’m pleased with the service and the router.

Would recommend if you’re leaving Sky, etc. and want a proper modem plus a more open setup.

The guy who installed the line etc great, no issues. No real instruction on setting up the router, which eventually work bout 3 hours later. Speed of broadband I’m not over happy with, yes it’s faster than previous but certainly nowhere near the ‘up to 900mb’ advertised. Most of the time, only a little more than previous sadly, especially worse upstairs

Recently changed to full fibre with Zen without any problems, all devices working well. Previous contact with Zen for advice and technical help has always been provided with prompt, professional help. Would recommend Zen for personal internet users.

Installation relatively smooth but line speed still variable after 3 weeks.

Excellent so far with good Customer Service especially. responded positively and quickly to my queries, fibre service has been super stable so far.

The whole Zen experience has been faultless in every way, from order placement through delivery of equipment to connection, installation (City Fibre) and operation. Having been a Vermin, sorry Virgin Media customer for over 25 years the difference in performance, service and especially price has been a revelation. I am now feeling Zen in every way.

Been with Zen for nearly three years, and had my first connection issue on September 3rd.
Spoke with customer services and it was fixed in less than 24 hours.

Straight forward change over from BT

Had for several years. No issues at all. Speed as advertised and bonus no price increases during contract

Excellent service from professional, courteous and knowledgable staff. Faultless broadband connection with speeds remaining constant.

Received an email from Zen saying I could renew my existing speed contract for cheaper. Excellent I though. Until I tried to take it up and they ignore every request.

I wanted to sign-up online but for some reason my order was not processed correctly. I called their helpline and was pleasantly surprised to how quickly and easy it was to speak to a human. Matt Gaughran was the rep on the line and he made it very easy to sign-up and get the right package for my needs. This made me feel confident that my switch to Zen was the right decision however, on that one, time will tell.

3 weeks in and I am delighted. Internet is more stable and I am getting more consistent bandwidth ad latency. The Fritz booster is also giving me better coverage throughout the house, I am chuffed with Zen

I can't begin to understand how Zen manages to get a Which? Recommended Provider status.
I am simply trying to become a customer and already it is a hassle.
First, after navigating the phone menu system you get the usual call centre nonsense about "experiencing a high volume of calls".
Then they tell you that you can buy online. YOU CAN'T - there is only a phone number, no online purchase option. Then they tell you that you are 13th in the queue. I gave up at this point and sent them an email which they haven't replied to over 24 hours later.
This level of responsiveness to a prospective customer doesn't give me much hope for future support.

Everything is satisfactory and an example to other
broadband companies. If Zen has a growing problem it
is with retail prices which are no longer competitive.

If I could give Zen ten stars I would do! It is so wonderful (and unusual nowadays) to be very quickly put through to a human being and for that person to be so helpful, polite and kind and for the question I had to be answered and resolved immediately. Zen should be used as the gold standard which other companies should aspire to. I cannot speak highly enough of Zen.

Steady supply of data. no complaints. All ok.

Good service; someone to talk to when necessary; no problems.
