AVOID
I enquired about booking a holdiaythrough inteletravel with Keira Sofroniu, the experience was awful. She was rude, belittling and made me feel stupid for asking basic questions, I would avoid at all costs. Very unprofessional.
Journalist and travel expert review of Inteletravel
I am a journalist and travel expert and, after doing a lot of research about all models available, have been with inteletravel since 2024. For the cost of using the platform and all we get for it - the certification, all the brands we work with, the training, the community and of course the commission - it is incredibly good value. As such it's making travel commission accessible to a much broader range of people - which I like. The figures are also speaking for themselves - with almost 2 billion dollars worth of travel sold in 2026. I wouldn't hestiate to recommend this platform to anyone who wants to earn from travel.
I have been with InteleTravel since September
I have been with InteleTravel since September 25.
I started it originally to travel smarter on my own holidays but very quickly saw the great opportunity infront of me. I have booked some wonderful trips for my friends and family with multiple 5 star reviews.
I wish I had known about it years ago. I have not only created a business with it but made some amazing friends to last a lifetime.
8 years in the game personal review
I've been part of InteleTravel for 8 years now, and I'll be honest with you: this is a business model that gives you access to the same platforms and booking systems every travel agent uses. I won't sugar-coat it, you'll need to educate yourself on how the industry works and how commission is structured. But if you're willing to learn and apply yourself, you'll find opportunities you simply won't get anywhere else.
InteleTravel has been a genuine asset to my journey in this industry. It's allowed me to build my own brand, Zen Travel UK (ATOL and ABTA protected), and to experience multiple 5-star destinations I'd never have reached otherwise. I'm now developing curated group trips to places like Bali, Indonesia and China, alongside launching Wolf Pack Retreats — holidays designed to support mental health and wellbeing.
Since joining, I've travelled to Jamaica (three times), Malta, Ghana, Egypt (Sharm El-Sheikh), Türkiye (twice), Amsterdam, Morocco and Berlin — with plenty more in the pipeline.
Booking holidays well takes practice. You're dealing with a range of suppliers, each with their own way of doing business, so building strong relationships with them is vital to your brand and to earning consistent commission. And the team here are always ready to help, connect and share what they've learned along the way.
For the price of a mobile phone contract, you'd be hard pressed to find a better business model. If you know how to use it, it's a real asset.

If you do the training then this will work for you if you want to save or earn.
It’s an effort based business and you get out what you put in always.
Inteletravel (and PlanNet) - the good and the bad
I think Inteletravel is good for people who would love a way to work in the travel industry that doesn't break the bank to get started. The sign up fee and monthly costs are reasonable.
They are partnered with over 100 companies which is great and it does give agents a good chance of being able to compete with other travel agencies. However, often the prices are higher than what consumers can find online.
After being with the company for a year I've also discovered some hidden fees that reduce what I receive for my commission for making bookings. I was expecting 70% of the commission (the other 30% going to Inteletravel for being the host agency, covering admin and everything else), but it actually averages out at more like 60% or less. They are also incredibly slow at paying out commissions and when you withdraw them from the Hyperwallet, there are various fees and charges that reduce the amount further.
With regards to the PlanNet side of the business, the community is wonderful in the team that I was in. There was lots of support and training which was great, however, that training and support can't find you team members and it can't retain team members. Lots of the team experience that people leave faster than they can build their team.
So many reviews on here are either 5 star and are people in the business who have probably been told to put a good review up (I recognise lots of the names for these 5 star reviews!) and 1 star reviews from people who have come away feeling a bit battered and bruised from their time with Inteletravel, most likely through not earning very much or struggling to recruit with PlanNet. I wanted to give a fair and balanced review of my experience - the good and the bad – so I hope this review is helpful to others.
"Wrong team" excuse for failing
Inteletravel 'hun bots' always say people fail due to not joining the right team!!! How are new recruits supposed to choose the right team when it is just some person they hardly know who has groomed them with predatory, fake chats??
Due to the fact no Inteletravel agents have any formal training in business or travel, this is inevitable they will fail to make any money. Once you have been recruited then you ARE on your own and left to figure things out for yourself. I imagine some teams receive more support (whatever that means) purely due to the fact you are an investment and paying your upline, so they dont want you dropping out.
They also 'victim blame' people for leaving due to not working hard enough which is hard to believe as they have been working for free and paying their upline each month for no help or support. Their idea of support is a 6am zoom call on how to recruit new people into the business, in order to make money from them - as this is what happened to them so they are just repeating the cycle and recruiting people for Inteletravel/Plannet marketing.
it is what you make of it!
i have been part of the explorers team since august 2024.. i’ve read some other reviews and i see a lot of people talk about a lack of support. i can assure you, when joining the explorers team, that is not a worry.
the group is the most supportive, ambitious and encouraging people you will ever surround yourself with. i have met some of my bestest friends through this, been able to leave my full time job as a carer and now am travelling australia with my online travel business funding me a full time income.
this is an EFFORT based business. some people join and expect it to be handed to them on a plate, which is absolutely not the case. there are going to be challenges, like any other business, or even situation in life.. but you need to decide whether it’s worth it FOR YOU 🫶🏼 for me, it absolutely was and absolutely has been. the freedom is unmatched x
This business has completely changed my…
This business has completely changed my life and has allowed me to leave my stressful teaching profession. The professionalism and integrity of the company is something that always drew me to it and this is demonstrated by the industry leading suppliers that they partner with. In my first January in the business, I sold £43,900 worth of travel more than doubling my teaching income the previous January. The ongoing training and supplier webinars are so informative and there is no gap in what you are able to book. In the 2.5 years I’ve been in the company, we continue to gain more and more top end suppliers and the CPD opportunities are unrivalled. More importantly than financials, this business has allowed me to focus all my attention on my young children whilst they are primary school age. It’s given me greater flexibility than I ever thought possible and I will always be indebted to the company for the opportunities it continues to open up for my family. It’s a business; you have to be proactive - but if you are? The possibilities are endless!
I have been with Inteletravel for…
I have been with Inteletravel for almost 3 years. It is a fantastic platform offering the opportunity to run a travel business completely flexibly alongside other commitments, run my business alongside being a mum of 3 and a full time midwife job, it has changed our lives and the community and support is wonderful. There seems to be lots of confusion from people posting negatively on here about it being an MLM. Inteletravel is a host travel agency (won home travel agency of the year 2025), that provides a travel booking platform with over 110 suppliers. Claims that it is a pyramid scheme (which is illegal), is factually incorrect and also libellous. My advice: go for it, but choose your team wisely!
As a travel agency host
As a travel agency host, inteletravel is amazing. We get the highest commission split in the industry and there’s so much support and training. I make a significant income through travel bookings alone. The network marketing side (plannet marketing) is totally optional but this side is incredible for giving flexibility to build a passive income over time. It’s allowed me to travel the world, working online. Negative reviews are simply because people haven’t been in the right team or they haven’t put in the work, then say it doesn’t work.
MLM sadly
Hi everyone, for anyone unsure of joining this ‘company’ it is an MLM. Prepare for many calls of girl bosses telling you it’s not but it is. You do all the training, lots of calls about how amazing everyone is and how they are ‘smashing it’. That’s the minority not the majority, and the majority of their earnings comes from recruitment, or booking their own travel. I had 8 work trips in my 6 months with inteltravel, every single one was more expensive booking with inteletravel. Yes I would have got commission, but it simply is not worth the admin required. Multiple friends asked me to price up trips, every time inteletravel was more expensive. If you travel yourself a lot, and are willing to do the work to get 5-15% back as commission then maybe it will work for you, but I prefer to just book it direct and get the cheaper rate myself. This is an honest review and I am financially very stable and so could afford to take the hit, but to anyone thinking they can turn this into a real income - you are being lied to. Yes people may book a lot but that’s likely due to their own clients simply not shopping around, families willing to pay a little extra to support their friends ‘business’. To any savvy travellers who already know how to get the cheapest rate - avoid.

Has employees advertising fraudulent ways to obtain priority passes at Disneyland Paris @travelbybirduk on instagram and Facebook specifically. Reported to all the relevant authorities. Should be more on top of what their employees are doing as this is disgraceful
Fantastic, in every way
I have been an agent since last July, and joining this company has genuinely been one of the best decisions I have made.
I love every part of this business. It has given me the opportunity to earn additional income while travelling more and creating more experiences with my family.
The marketing side of the business is excellent, and the business model itself is something I truly believe in. What stands out most to me is that this business genuinely helps people, and I have seen that with my own eyes.
The community is incredible. The support we all give each other, the friendships built, and the genuine desire for everyone to succeed makes this very special.
Having two ways to earn while being completely in control of your own business is a fantastic opportunity. I always say, if I’m going on holiday anyway, why not earn from it as well?
I am so glad I joined and excited to continue growing within the business. Knowing that less than 0.1% of the population are currently doing this only shows how much opportunity there still is for growth.
I truly believe this is only the beginning.
Predatory scheme. AVOID!
Predatory scheme that relies heavily on new recruiters paying fees. Most money made comes from recruitment, not actual travel sales. The scheme preys on people looking for additional income, making them sign up and pay monthly to have access to the booking system that lets you earn commission. What they don’t tell you is that the people who recruited you, the people who recruited your recruiter and so on, all take a cut of that commission too. In order to start making up for what you spent on the sign up fee, monthly fee, money withdrawal fee, fee fi fo fum fee and because they can fee, never mind to actually make profit, it will take a lot of time and effort. Its best to just save your money and avoid. There’s a lot of people who unknowingly fall for these traps and recruit family and friends. The mentors or supervisors are really attentive in the beginning when trying to sign you on but once you’re in and they have your money, they’re difficult to contact and avoid questions.
Save your money and energy
I joined to save on my own travel and to earn an additional income. The latter part of recruiting was so hard! And I joined so many calls and sessions I felt burnt out after a number of month of putting so many hours in and seeing very little reward. Also everyone and her mum is doing this now. It’s over saturated, it was fine if you started a few years ago when less people did it.
I initially joined Inteletravel to save…
I initially joined Inteletravel to save money on a big family trip to Orlando, that was 2 years ago and I will never look back.
I have not only started my own small business but I have made friends and have had so many laughs.
I love finding the best deals on holidays for family and friends. I am slowly building my business, gaining the trust of clients and I am doing this around my full time job.
I love to travel and this little extra income and saving on the holidays allows me to visit more countries with my husband and kids.
I have recently started on the Marketing side, because I had a few friends interested in joining up, they only want to book travel which is totally fine, going down the marketing route is not for everyone, but always an option.
The support I have gotten and the continuous training is brilliant. My Instagram page is Driscolls_Dream_Destinations, I would love your support.

This was a great & affordable way to start my own travel business. I looked into alternative companies that were more expensive and lower commission. I’ve been an agent for about 15 months and have loved the ever growing suppliers joining us. It’s constantly getting better for me. The free training webinars are great and I’ve been to a few in person training events. I can’t recommend the dream maker events highly enough!
Amazing company
Amazing company - extremely supportive at helping you succeed. Couldn’t recommend more!
Great place to be
Community, education, support and the cheapest business I’ve ever started with the best ratio of reward to effort!
