Really good software especially if you can get it free with some banks (it was created by natwest). Very user friendly and clear interface. Using for about 6 months now, wouldnt change it to any other paid one.

Oh wow!! I've had Quickbooks for over 2 years, what a mess! I had a support call with them today and it's going to be about 2 weeks before they can help me ...long story. I started looking at alternatives and thought why not just literally start from scratch with another package. How hard can it be? That was 6 hours ago. In that time I've bottomed out my out of time accounts for the last 2 years of my start up, and I'm up to date for this year. I'm speechless to be honest. Freeagent is so intuitive, it's built for business owners like me. I did a free book keeping course from Open University but the instructions on Free agent are so clear there was really no need. I challenge anyone to tell me how to deal with dividends on Quickbooks. I was done in about 30 mins on Freeagent. I've just subscribed, it's a no brainer. I've not invoiced on it yet and i know it won't be as glossy but to be honest the time it's going to save me overall and not to mention saving on professional fees, it's absolutely worth it. I'm feeling so good that I have a grip on my business finances at last. And very pleased that it all looks very healthy :-) I shall sleep a lot better tonight than I have for a while.

I signed up to FreeAgent after two friends recommended them. The MTD transition has been very stressful and required a big change for me. The whole process has been really daunting and I had very little support or advice from my accountant. However, FreeAgent has proved to be amazing. I couldn't have got through without the support of the helpline. The advisors are extremely knowledgable and always give as much time as is needed. I would highly recommend and feel very reassured going forwards.
