Only reason I'll give it a 4 is because the box it came in had been bruised a bit but the bottles were fine. The product works like it says and helps make my arms and legs look more even.

This product was a HUGE disappointment. Not only was the shipping experience absolutely horrible, my product boxes were crushed and the box for the setting spray was wet!! The tubes are smaller than I expected and a lot of product was needed to cover the desired area (leg Vitiligo on the shin part of 1 leg). I followed the instructions. I used the recommended brush and the setting spray. I also ordered 2 shades to test just in case. Neither shade really matched. Neither shade did what it was supposed to do. I let the product set for 20 minutes and it came off immediately. Tissue test = Failed!! Hand test = Failed!! I am so glad that I tested this in the house and didn't ruin any clothing. If this stuff is infused with Black Seed Oil, how is it supposed to actually dry? And then applying a wet setting spray on top of it? Doesn't really make sense. This also seemed to be thicker in consistency than advertised. So it's a "No" for me! Even if I did like the product, the fact that it ships from China and they use careless third-party couriers for their deliveries is a big turn-off.

I was worried it may not match my skin well because I'd tried other makeup and foundations for black skin before which were too light... but the toffee color was a perfect match for me. My legs are smooth and I can wear dresses again.

It's a great product. I have only used a couple of times but the coverage has been good on my dark elbows and knees.

I had such high hopes for this product. I got the buy-one-get-one in two different colors: mocha and cocoa. Neither one was an exact match. But the worst of it all was that it took forever to dry, and still transferred onto my bed sheets and my bathroom sink. The product does not last long on the skin. So I wouldn't trust it at the pool, it's coming off. and good luck knowing the difference because the product is only labeled on the boxes, that's $50 down the drain. I hurried up and alerted 🚨 them not to send me any more products. I planned to use this cover-up until my tattoos are completely lasered off. I still had some outline lines, but nope 🙅 no luck.
I appreciate the response, but I used three dots from my finger to put this product on, then blended. I didn’t even use a lot of the product, and it still took forever to dry and still transferred. Maybe Shimma should do a video on how to put their product on without using AI. I couldn't even do layers if the first layer isn't absorbing with 3 dots.

Poor Service

I have contacted Shimma several times to request cancellation of my subscription, yet they continue to send items and have completely ignored my cancellation request. This is extremely frustrating and demonstrates a serious lack of customer service.

I would not purchase from this company again and would strongly advise others to think twice before subscribing.

Nyla helped me with organising my refund and was very helpful.

I had an issue with my order and sent it to the wrong address but Nyla helped me reroute it - i then wanted to try a different shade and she helped me get the caramel shade fast good service

I like that it matched my skin tone and had a nice glow. It helped cover up my scars on my shins and veins.

I used the body coverage perfector and it wasn't as thick as I thought so I used a few layers but it did cover up my discoloration on my chest well, I also use it on my legs and the effect was similar.

This company is a rip off ! You're given a fraudulent phone number purposely so you have no recourse. Money that you won't get back.

Arrived before the date I expected and came in a lovely box and the bottles were really high quality, had a nice thank you card and the whole experience was very premium, big fan. The coverage worked well on my underarms too where i get darker spots

Communication was excellent. I like how the cream blends into the skin and looks like I'm not even wearing anything. Gives a nice glow. My knees are usually way darker than the rest of my body so this helps a lot. Only thing that could be improved is if it dries faster as I had to wait for 5 minutes before putting clothes on.

My four stars review is based on my overall experience with Shimma customer service as well as the product I purchased. I ordered the cover up cream. The price was great for two full size tubes and a little goes a long way. Had a hiccup... I thought I had color matched perfectly even had input from others, but when the product arrived and I tried it it was not a good match. I immediately contacted customer service and omg the got right back to me . They made it right without a hassle, or attitude and no additional cost to me which was a bonus! My new order arrived and I do really like the color, but it didn't give me the full coverage I was hoping for. Is almost like a foundation for your body. It glides on so smoothly with the application body brush that's included ( the brush is fabulous). It camouflage my imperfections but didn't make them disappear. I did have a slight bit of run off on my dress, but not sure if I gave it enough time to fully absorb and dry. Overall I'm glad I tried it and I'd be willing to try other products based on their customer service alone.

It's not that great with cover and it doesn't match my skin tone.

While the product did go on smoothly and did not come off easily, I found that I had to mix two colors to get close to my skin tone. The darker shade left me with a burgundy/red tone while the next shade,? lighter left me with a ashy tan tone.

CHECK YOUR BILLING STATUS. Product is ok but your account will get billed 2 or sometimes 3 times a month. In August 2026, I had 3 automatic deductions from Shimma and it’s still continuing after I chose to cancel my subscription. To stop the headache completely I was forced to get a new card altogether

Took a while to set in. It was about 10 minutes until it had dried into my skin. I used the brush it came with and did 2 layers. It does look good and covered my birthmark on my thigh. Color match was good but it was frustrating waiting for it too dry

I didn't think it would work, but its by far the best product I've used for evening out my skin tone. I hadn't tried any body coverage makeup before but I'd used different serums and they didn't do anything so this is a way faster option for results. It goes on easily and blended into my skin seamlessly. Thank you Shimma
