I own a house and needed to transfer some equity and in need of legal expertise. Local solicitors were almost 300% more expensive and slow on past land purchases

Have to say its an unknown with the web but this firm was excellent. A call as promised prior to payment to discuss the matter and onboarding was very smooth to begin the transfer.

⭐ Very disappointing experience

I spoke at length with Millennium Conveyancers over the phone before instructing them, explaining my circumstances, requirements and, importantly, the lender I intended to use.

I was specifically told that everything was absolutely fine and was advised to make the payment so they could begin work.

However, literally moments after making the payment, I received a phone call telling me that I had been misinformed and that they do not work with my lender.

During that call, I was reassured that I didn't need to worry and that I would receive a full refund.

The following day, however, I received an email stating that, under their terms and conditions, my refund would be subject to deductions for costs such as opening the file. I found this particularly frustrating considering I had only made the payment because their representative had explicitly confirmed they could act for me and work with my chosen lender.

After challenging this, I have now managed to get a full refund authorised, although at the time of writing I am still waiting for the money to actually be returned.

The whole situation could have been avoided if the correct information had been provided during my initial telephone conversation. When a customer takes the time to explain their circumstances before paying, they should be able to rely on the information they are given.

I will update this review once the refund has actually been received.

So far so good no issue, and keeps you updated in good time, these bad reviews are likley unrealistic customers.
