I purchased tix to for a concert in late August in mid-April, four months before the event. Two hours before the concert was scheduled to start I had not received my tix. Shortly after GoTickets notified me my order was cancelled because the seller was unable to deliver. The company agreed to refund my purchase price, which they did. BFD! They also agreed on the phone to reimburse $100 of my travel expenses. They then reneged on the travel reimbursement. Run, do not walk, from this company. They are shady and unreliable. My mistake was not realizing how risky dealing with a reseller can be. I hope this review keeps at least one other person from being burned like I was. Go Tickets is a horrible business to work with. Nevermore will I engage with them. Ever!

Absolutely Unacceptable and Misleading

I am extremely disappointed with GoTickets.com. I specifically selected and paid for particular seats based on their location and, most importantly, the view of the concert stage. Those were the seats I intentionally chose and paid for—not just any seats in the venue.

Instead, GoTickets.com gave us completely different seats, and the replacement seats were significantly worse when it came to the stage view. This is not a minor seat change or an equivalent substitution and yet they have the gall to call it an “upgrade”. The whole point of paying for specific seats is to have the location and viewing experience that you selected.

If a customer chooses and pays for a particular seat, they should honor that purchase. Moving customers to inferior seats after they have already paid is simply unacceptable. If the company cannot provide the seats that were purchased, it should offer an equivalent or better location, or provide a full refund—not quietly substitute substantially worse seats.

What makes this even more frustrating is that the seating location directly affects the value and enjoyment of a concert. The VIP box at Palms Resort is blocking my view as I am behind it. A significantly worse stage view means a significantly worse concert experience. I paid for a specific experience and did not receive what I purchased.

This experience has seriously damaged my trust in GoTickets.com. Customers should not have to wonder whether the seats they carefully select and pay for will actually be the seats they receive.

Very disappointing. I would strongly caution anyone purchasing concert tickets through Tickets.com to carefully consider this risk. Damn hustlers!

I purchased tickets through GoTickets for the Apo Hiking Society concert at Pearl Theater and paid a higher price specifically to secure seats in Section 101.

The following day, I received an email informing me that my seats had been “upgraded” to Section 202 at no additional cost. After reviewing the seating chart, however, I discovered that the new seats were actually a downgrade from the Section 101 seats I had originally purchased.

I contacted GoTickets to address the issue and requested a refund of the price difference, but they declined. Describing a move to a less desirable seating section as an “upgrade” is misleading and does not reflect the level of transparency customers should expect when purchasing tickets.

Customers should receive the seats they paid for. If comparable seating cannot be provided, they should be offered an appropriate refund or other reasonable resolution.

Unfortunately, this experience has resulted in GoTickets losing me as a customer. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend purchasing tickets through this platform.

GoTickets simply enables fraud. They actively post misleading guidance on their events and make it deliberately confusing as to which event you're purchasing. They claim a 100% satisfaction guarantee, but do not honor it. Use them at your peril.
