I currently have a current account with them. It runs alright.

For the past few months, I have been attempting to open an account for my trust through them. As a non-registered trust, I opted for a charitable account as the best bet. Well, just today I discovered that my application has been declined.
I am quite disappointed with the lack of flexibility, how complicated must it be to open a non-interest-bearing account in the name of a trust, just because it does not fall within the admiralty/maritime jurisdiction of the state?

I usually book my National Rail tickets through this site. Easy and convenient to use, and Trainline were quick to notify me about any short-notice service disruptions.

For the occasional train trip with a random service operator, they'd be the best bet, however if you make frequent rail journeys with the same train company then you'd be better off creating an account with them and buying directly from their website as Trainline tend to charge a booking commission of 50 pence (not much superficially, but it adds up when you make multiple bookings with them).

I have had this laptop for a little over five years now. I must say, quite a reliable product, and respectable performance for its size and age.

I regularly play Counter Strike: Global Offensive on online multiplayer servers on it (but run it on the lowest settings to reduce lag). It also renders videos at reasonable rates on Sony Vegas Pro 14.
On the other hand, it is not powerful enough to run digital frame interpolation programs (DAIN or RIFE).

As much as I like this product, in hindsight, as the laptop is rarely used anywhere else than in my room, a desktop PC may have been a better investment.

I have had this product for almost five years. Incredibly reliable (especially considering the planned obsolescence engineered into smartphones nowadays).

Only once have I replaced the lithium ion battery (late last year) and the replacement came from a replica almost as old as mine (the phone was severely damaged mere months after usage commenced due to abuse and neglect on part of the owner). Nevertheless, the replacement battery is still reliable.

For a phone manufactured in 2017, it still runs up to date with the latest version Android applications. But then again, the smartphone industry has already peaked and Moore's Law no longer holds up.

As a recommended improvement to the design, fasten the components using larger screws or even sliders for ease of disassembly, and avoid using adhesives. I had to buy an iFixit phone repair kit just to be able to replace the battery (in all fairness though, the kit itself was just £ 1 and most of the price was paid for the delivery (I should've ordered more)).

Once my existing phone becomes obsolete (which I'll do whatever I can to ensure won't be anytime soon, given how reliable my P10 Lite is to have lasted this long), I'd certainly go with a new Huawei product. Obviously, steer well clear of Apple and Samsung phones, LOL!

Great value for money.
Easy to print over the internet, high quality prints (depending on which PDF viewer you print from, recommend Microsoft Edge, avoid Mozilla Firefox and Adobe) and reasonably compact.

I switched over about two years ago and am highly satisfied with the service. As I don't send texts or make calls that much, I always use less credit than the £ 2.50 monthly deduction allows for, so am sure to use mobile data when I'm out to increase the return on investment.
Then again, they are a business, so need to make a profit, who could blame them.

Silver-to-Go market their products as VAT-free, however if you have done business with them recently, you may find that this isn't exactly true.
Only *after* paying the invoice will you find yourselves hooked to the hidden strings attached to their seemingly lucrative deals, you know, once it's already too late to back out.

Examples such as:

- Customs duty of 2.5 % (in my case), not disclosed in the invoice.
- Value-added tax of 20 % (in my case), again, not disclosed in the invoice.
- Merchant fees, not only not disclosed in the invoice, but apparently not covered by the 'Shipping & Handling' in the invoice (how nice(!)).

I discussed this with a Silver-to-Go representative who were clearly aware of the hidden customs duty and VAT. Would've been nice if they disclosed it in the invoice.

"But then again, customs duty and VAT only apply to orders £ 135 or above, so simply buy in smaller quantities, right?"
Well it just so happens that £ 135 is the minimum required spend per order from Silver-to-Go "due to Brexit regulations". Coincidence? I think not, and I'll explain why later.

"HA! Serves you right, you should've known better!" I bitterly regret not looking Silver-to-Go up on Trustpilot before making an order from them, otherwise I would've steered well clear of them. But then again, any con-artist could use that excuse to justify their actions.

Here are my theories:

1. Silver-to-Go intentionally refuse to disclose those additional costs in their invoices as they know that they would put potential customers off. This is what I mean when I say they bait customers. You don't notice that you've been hooked until *after* biting the lure. In order to sell, you've gotta have a seller's face, who could blame them...

2. How they get their silver coins VAT free from the Royal Mint: I believe that they're VAT-registered in the UK, and as VAT-registered businesses need to charge their customers VAT, they do so by setting the £ 135 minimum spend. That way, it is impossible to order from them without exceeding the customs duty and VAT threshold. So if they market their goods as VAT-free, they are not only misleading, but deceptive as well.

Then again, if you've acknowledged my points and *still* wish to do business with them, that's your informed decision. Such a pity that Silver-to-Go won't give their customers the opportunity to make informed decisions by disclosing *all* costs right from the get go.

1. In response to your response: Yeah, yeah, I know that now. However what you fail to mention is that the import duties and VAT to the UK only apply to goods that are £ 135 or above. And you are clearly aware of this, as by some strange coincidence, that £ 135 just happens to be the minimum spend your precious website accepts.
This is what I'm talking about when I call Silver-to-Go misleading and say that they bait customers. You resort to selective disclosure, also known as white-lying. You skew the facts either to lure gullible customers or to justify your actions whenever you do so.

And since you want to bring China up as an example: I have ordered a few goods from China recently. I'll use Grandado UK as an example. Last year, on two occasions I ordered umbrella nets from them. Not only was I not charged import duties, VAT or merchants fees on either of the orders, but with an even shorter shipping period (time from making the order to actually receiving the product at my door) than the time it took you to ship the silver coins to me, I wasn't even charged a single penny for the shipment of either of the orders. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that unlinke your phony business, Grandado UK don't impose a minimum spend limit that just so happens to be at or above the customs duty and VAT threshold.

Funny that, it took Grandado less time to ship an order from China to the UK for free than it took Silver-to-Go to ship an order from Germany to the UK with hidden fees attached. Pitiful.
I'd like to see you put a propagandist spin on that.


2. Aww, Silver-to-Go flagged my review. What's the matter? Are you butt-hurt about having your manipulative tactics exposed? You only confirm what I already suspected about your organisation. Scam-artists from Germany, may your phony business burn to the ground.
