MATTERHORN HIGHLIGHTS TRIP ...

I am on my way home after completing the Matterhorn Highlights trek with Alps Adventures and I totally recommend this to anyone who is thinking about it.

Our guides were Elodie and Valerie and both were excellent! Elodie is a fantastic lead guide and they both kept us safe and always updated us on the terrain, elevation/descents ahead and the wildlife, plants and flowers we would (and mostly did) see.

Elodie kept us at a good, achievable pace but if you wanted or needed to go at a slower, more steady rate (I do on descents), Valerie kept at the back to make sure all were together. At no time did I feel I was rushing nor keeping anyone behind, which was good.

The scenery was breathtaking and the group (mixed range of ages) was the best! We all had a great laugh and I will always remember them.

This is my 2nd Alps Adventures trip (did TMB last year) and I highly recommend this company.

Our fantastic guide, Westy, was brilliant! He was really informative, knowledgeable and professional, but also had a great sense of humour, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. 😄

The views were absolutely stunning and the whole trip was an incredible experience from start to finish. 🏔️🥾

Myself and my partner have just completed the Highlights of Mont Blanc tour and we couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The four day trip was well planned with a route that was challenging yet enjoyable. Our guide, Grigor, was attentive, managing the group with varying abilities well, with a good sense of humour. He was knowledgeable about the route and surrounding area, ensuring we all had a great time with just enough information about the area to be interesting and entertaining. The trip surpassed all expectation, definitely 5 stars. We are already planning our next trip with Alps Adventures.

I've just returned from the Matterhorn highlights hike. An amazing adventure from start to finish. Our guide Charles was brilliant and I was surprised by how a group of strangers got so emotional during gratitude and golden Nugget circles at the beginning and end of each day. The whole group got on brilliantly taking in the beautiful Swiss scenery whilst learning all about the wildlife, mountains and glaciers. Thankyou to all that went on this trip on the 25th July for making this a trip to remember.

Just got back from the Matterhorn trip and can’t recommend it enough. It was well organised from the start. Thoroughly enjoyed myself with a lovely group of people. Leaders, Elodie and Paul were great, knowledgable about the route, flowers and fauna and really friendly. Memories of the beautiful scenery, laughs, cow bells, edelweiss, cold water and finally spotting the elusive marmot will stay with me forever. Thanks for the memories.

We did the TMB over 4 days and 3 nights, and it was my first-ever group trip. I had a great time from start to finish.

Even before the trip began, everything was well organised. We received clear information about what to pack and how to keep our backpacks light, which made preparing much easier. The pick-up and drop-off to and from Geneva Airport were also seamless.

When we arrived at the meeting point, we were warmly welcomed by our guide, Grigor. He made everything easy by explaining the plan clearly and making sure everyone knew what to expect.

Throughout the hike, we were given plenty of information at every stage. We never felt rushed while walking or climbing. We had enough time to go at our own pace while still staying together as a group, which I really appreciated.

The accommodation on the first night was wonderful. It wasn’t luxurious or fancy, but it had so much character that it left a lasting impression. The dinner there was also really good.

Every stop along the way, whether for coffee or lunch, was in a beautiful location. Grigor also recommended local food and drinks at almost every stop, and honestly, every recommendation was worth trying. None of them disappointed.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience, especially for my first group trip. Everything was thoughtfully planned, and I came home with great memories. I’d happily recommend it to anyone considering hiking the TMB.

The Tour Du Mont Blanc highlights trip was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve ever done! It was challenging and took me out of my comfort zone, but I’m so glad I did it and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone wanting fun, adventure and the most spectacular scenery! Alps Adventure were great, and we lucked out with our guide Grigor! A brilliant guide, thoughtful, funny and all round good guy, going above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great experience - thank you Grigor. We also lucked out with our group of 14 as a great bunch of people so all in all a big 5 stars from me.

We spent 4 days and 3 nights on the Alps Adventures Tour du Mont Blanc hike with our guide, Lison, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish.
Lison’s knowledge of the terrain, mountain expertise, and friendly, encouraging approach made me feel at ease. She was always happy to share insights about the local landscape, wildlife, and the surrounding mountains, which added so much to the experience.
The scenery is simply spectacular—the views and walks will truly take your breath away. Every day brought incredible panoramas, well-planned routes, and a real sense of achievement.
The accommodation was functional and a hearty supper ended the day on a high. I would highly recommend Alps Adventures to anyone looking for a professionally guided and memorable Tour du Mont Blanc experience. You will do well to have Lison as your guide!

I had an amazing experience with AlpsAdventures! This was my first multi-day hike, and I couldn’t have asked for a better team to do it with. From the start, everyone was incredibly encouraging, supportive, and motivating, which really helped me push through and complete the hike.

The Tour du Mont Blanc has some of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever seen. Every day felt like walking through a postcard, and all the effort was more than worth it.

I also met such an amazing group of like-minded people, and sharing this journey with them made the experience even more memorable. A special thank you to Charles for being so patient, supportive, and encouraging throughout the hike, especially for beginners. His guidance and positivity made a huge difference.

Just returned from a brilliant 4-day hike with Alps Adventures - comfortable refuge huts with clean washroom and hot showers, good options of local food. Our guide, Guy Martin, was very informative - shared interesting stories along the route, always made sure everyone was safe.

It was a fantastic 4 days around Matterhorn. Elodie our main guide and Anais who was assisting were amazing and very considerate towards the entire group.
They were always looking out for everyone and bonded very well with our group and their energy was wonderful

We have just returned from the amazing 4 day TMB highlights tour. The information and videos from Alps Adventures prior to the trip provided all the information needed to plan and pack appropriately. The trip itself was so well organised with pick ups, accomodation, and lunch spots all planned to help the trip run smoothly. Our guide Westy was great! Good company, knowledgeable of the Alps and did a lot behind the scenes to ensure we all has a great time. The accomodation was comfortable in stunning surroundings and we were very well fed along the trail. The views were amazing and experiencing a thunderstorm on our first day added to the fun and reinforces why you need to pack those waterproofs! We had a fabulous group to share this experience with and can't wait to book our next alps adventure!

We had the most amazing 4 days hiking the Tour de Mt Blanc highlights. Unbelievable scenery, really great level of challenge - it was hard but doable - great sense of achievement - we earned the views! These mountains really put everything into perspective….Grigor was a fantastic guide, extremely knowledgeable about the Massif and expertly guided us through a hailstorm which was dramatic but luckily uneventful! I absolutely loved that Grigor allowed us all to go at our pace - for me this meant I could really push myself on the ups and also felt no pressure to rush when I wanted to take it slow on the downs. He also gave great advice about all things walking: poles, how to carry a backpack, blisters etc. Lovely group of people, delicious lunches, a great adventure. Sleeping in shared accommodation wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea but it’s a great leveller… all in all a brilliant and very memorable trip. Thank you!!!!

My daughter and I had a fantastic time on the Matterhorn highlights trip. Sally and Mark were our hike leaders and they were amazing, professional, kind, informative and supportive.. we couldn’t have asked for better hike leaders. The huts were brilliant, clean and comfy with amazing views. The food was also excellent. Sadly we had to cut our hike short and leave an amazing group but Sally was lovely and organised our journey to a lovely spa hotel in Zermatt. Will definitely return. Thank you x

An unforgettable Matterhorn adventure!

I can’t recommend the Matterhorn Highlights trip with Alps Adventures highly enough.

I’ve just returned from an incredible week in Switzerland with friends, with the absolute highlight being the four-day Matterhorn hiking adventure led by Sally and Mark. The scenery was simply spectacular, and every time the iconic Matterhorn came into view, it took our breath away and made every climb worthwhile.

From the very beginning, the trip was exceptionally well organised. We were part of a larger group, but everyone was so welcoming and friendly, creating a wonderful sense of camaraderie. The craic was 90 throughout, with plenty of laughs and great memories made along the way.

Sally and Mark were outstanding leaders. Their professionalism, experience and enthusiasm inspired us every step of the way. They were constantly encouraging and motivating the group, while sharing fascinating knowledge about the local history, geography and surrounding mountains. Their technical expertise meant we always felt safe and well looked after, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience.

This was a challenging but incredibly rewarding adventure, and one I’ll never forget. If you’re thinking about booking the Matterhorn Highlights trip, don’t hesitate—you’ll come home with amazing memories, spectacular photos and a real sense of achievement.
