Ana Ka’s website and content is brilliant! We are a Canadian retired couple heading for our first trip to Florence next month. We are perusing all of the social media stuff of course which is fine, but usually is impersonal and often sponsored.

But then we found Ana Ka’s secret site! What a wonderful resource! Ana lives in Florence and is passionate about sharing her experiences - from walks to restaurants to suggestions for hidden gems where you can “feel” the city rather than just observe it. She has great free curated maps on her easy-to-navigate website, and a super Facebook page where her followers ask and answer questions… plus she frequently weighs in on the discussion with helpful tips and hints about everything from abbeys to bathrooms! Reading Ana’s content is like having a Florentine as your best friend, passing along knowledge that only a passionate local can give. A huge thumbs up!!!

Ana's Secret Guide tours are a must if you're in Florence. Four of us (all women) were in Florence for only two and a half days and we wanted to make the most of our time there. After looking over Ana's tours, we chose two (it was not an easy decision...they all sounded great!).
Our first tour, "Florence Uncovered: A food lover's Trail from Sant' Ambrogio Market to Local Gems," was fabulous! Not only did we get to sample some of Florence's local treats, we were shown parts of the city that we most likely would have missed.
Our second tour was the Uffizi Gallery tour. Our guide's knowledge and enthusiasm of art history made for the most interesting museum tour ever. Our guide was outstanding!
Thanks to Ana's tours, we had an incredible time and would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to learn more about Florence and its "secrets"!

Ana has absolutely the best recommendations for things to do in Florence. Her guides are very knowledgeable and interesting and they reallt care that you are walking away having had an authentic Florence experience. You will not

The tour we did was the private food tour with Kristie. It was truly the best tour of our life. We always hire guides on vacation and have had many amazing experiences but this afternoon with Kristie was the best. All the vendors are so happy to see her and you really feel like you are being welcomed at every stop.

We were spending 2 months in Florence so in the first few days we did the local tour. We had such an amazing day . Kristi was our guide and she was amazing . Kristi knew many local folks and literally the best places to eat and shop. Our tour was so valuable during our 2 months we returned to many of the places we visited they became our go to. It’s such a day well spent if you want to be truly immersed in local flare.

I would highly recommend Ana if you’re visiting Florence. She helped us organize a special birthday trip including a
fantastic private guided tour of the Uffizi which was the highlight of the trip. Our guide was so knowledgeable but wore it lightly so we were never overwhelmed. Will definitely use Ana again for our next trip to beautiful Florence:
