The worst service ever. My wife bought a samsung fold, and after about a month the display which was poor done developed lines. After sending it back, they sent us pictures of another phone, claiming that ours had fallen down, and were asking for about 599 chf for repair, OR 39 CHF if we want the broken phone back. What a way to extort people. Now, they nolonger answer calls.

Top company - straightforward to deal with and super fast in their operations. Have bought and sold with them before - always a positive experience.

I like to change my phones often, as well provide a new devices for my family and close relatives. I did quite a significant amount of purchasing and selling devices with verkaufen.ch and I am happy with the service and will keep using it. Everything is super fast and automated. Purchase by invoice with 3rd party provider is very convenient and gives awesome flexibility. 100% reccomend.

Excellent! Condition was described as "very good" for screen and frame - I couldn't spot a single tiny defect, would have passed as "as new" in my eyes.

I sent in an iPhone 14 Pro Max that was fully functional, with a recently replaced screen in perfect condition. Everything was tested and working before shipment.

I initially received an offer of €350. However, after that, I was told the device was worth nothing and was even asked whether I wanted to recycle it instead.

When the phone was returned to me, it arrived with a broken screen and in worse condition than when I originally sent it in. This is completely unacceptable.

I understand that a company may reassess a device’s value, but returning it damaged is not acceptable under any circumstances. At the very least, the phone should have been returned in the same physical and functional condition in which it was received.

This experience shows a serious lack of care and responsibility in handling a high-value device. I expect the company to take accountability and significantly improve its processes

Had a terrible experience selling a used (~6mos.) old Apple watch in a 'like new' condition. They ended up creating scratches on the screen upon receiving it and blamed me. Now the watch has lost significant value.

I tried the Swisscom repurchase program a month ago, and it went smoothly. Only picked verkaufen as I was unable to find an option to sell a watch to them.

I see Verkaufen responses to customers giving 1 star, and they seem to be pretty standard cut copy paste. I received the same in email. Seems like an AI bot, but I hope I am wrong.

In the T&C there doesn't seem to be any liability clause if Verkaufen self damages goods upon inspection. This makes anyway a very open ended interpretation of their quality standards.

P.S. - This is a review of my personal experience. Since this is an open public forum, I wanted to share my perspective only. I do not intend to influence anyone's perception or cause bias to anyone's decision making.

I’m a critical buyer - very much so. Before placing my order, I went through the comments and reviews. After all, who wants to make a bad purchase or end up in a dispute with a company? I read both the positive and negative experiences, although the overall rating of the company seemed quite solid.

I noticed that some people who had issues with their phones were told that the damage was due to impact, and thus not covered by warranty - even though the issue appeared right out of the box.

So, here’s what I did: from the moment of delivery, I recorded the entire unboxing on video. The poor delivery guy looked genuinely confused, probably thinking I was filming a Netflix documentary. I had even set up a bright key light in advance to catch any scratches or blemishes in full detail.

But I have to say - I was pleasantly surprised. So far, anyway (it’s been just one day). The phone was in flawless condition: no scratches on the screen, the body, or the camera lenses. I really tried to find a mark - I wanted to - but there was none. Everything was included in the box: the stylus, charging cable, SIM pin, and all the manuals. The only clue that this device wasn’t brand new was the original box - it had already been opened.

The setup went smoothly. I powered on the phone, went through the initial settings, and it came with a 40% battery charge. Not a dealbreaker, though I would’ve preferred it fully charged so I could immediately run battery capacity tests. But after charging, everything checked out.

All in all, I’m satisfied so far. The device fully - and surprisingly - meets my expectations.
