Unacceptable merchant intimidation and shifting prices under a 12-month warranty" While Refurbed's corporate team has tried to intervene, my experience with their third-party Dutch vendor, DSL-TECH (Ararat), has descended into absolute corporate bullying and intimidation. After returning my Dell Precision workstation under a 12-month warranty for an electronic screen defect—which left Ireland physically pristine with zero external damage, as formally acknowledged by Refurbed in writing—I have been subjected to a hostile barrage of changing financial demands. The vendor initially quoted over €600 for a repair to force me to cave in. When corporate stepped in, the price suddenly dropped to €230. Unbelievably, the vendor then bypassed platform rules to message me directly at night, inflating the cost again to €470 plus labour, and unlawfully declaring that a refund or credit was impossible. As a widow navigating a year of profound personal grief, trying to wear me down with underhanded tactics while holding my specialized Photoshop/Lightroom software and sports photography files hostage is disgusting. I have issued a final 4:00 PM Thursday deadline for Refurbed Special Support to override this rogue vendor and honor my statutory rights under the Irish Consumer Rights Act 2022 with a free repair or matching replacement. If they fail, a formal statutory complaint will be filed immediately with the CCPC and ECC Net for cross-border enforcement."
