Watching/listening a 30 minute video is actually 45 to 50 minutes with all of the ads that YT crams in. Besides that, 85% of the ads are AI generated bullchit SCAM ads ... 10% are the most IRRELEVANT (who is going to travel 3 states away to eat at a restaurant???) ... the remaining 5% MIGHT be something local.

"Blocking"?? It does not work. It returns time and time again.

YT is nothing more than an "advertising" platform that welcomes scammers.

If I could give zero stars I would have. Worst customer service, and they make it nearly impossible to cancel a free trial. No doubt they will charge my card anyway. Claiming I never cancelled. 45 minutes in the phone with them for them to tell me that could not complete my request but if I end up getting charged for it to call back. In which case they will likely tell me that they cant complete that request. Complete scam

I was watching my titans game (preseason) and it changed over to a soccer game and as much as I pay I shouldn’t ever have that problem it is bullcrap and I should be refunded for this crappy experience there is no way I should have to call the complaint line to get the game back on… I’m pissed.

This company is terrible. Particularly their youtube and TV. They censor and cancel you if you write anything Christ-like. I liked to write to the singers of Christian songs and Christmas songs thanking them for their music and discipleship for Jesus Christ. I like to listen to music, but now don't on youtube. They censor you and cancel your account to leave comments. They do not like you talking about God or Jesus, if you do, you are cancelled. It is sad, but true. It is sad to see so many companies today become such slaves for satan, doing the devils work and not allowing Christians and conservatives to have a voice. I lost all respect for this company. They seem to spy on you, and if you talk about Jesus, they cancel and censor you. All I can say is please pray for them. I found GodTube and many other better music websites now, so just never use youtube anymore. Consumer beware, they censor and cancel you if you are a Christian. Maybe someday the US Government will sanction them for what they do to people, it is wrong and unethical, but I just do not use them anymore.

One of the most frustrating customer service experiences I've had. I contacted YouTube TV because my local NBC station had been stuck in the same commercial loop for two days on both my iPad and LG TV. I explained multiple times that I had already signed out, reinstalled the app, and tried different devices, yet support kept asking me to repeat the same basic troubleshooting.

At one point, they even had me troubleshoot the NBC app—even though I repeatedly said I was watching through YouTube TV. After nearly an hour, they finally admitted it was a known issue their engineers were already working on. That information could have saved me a lot of wasted time. The representatives were polite, but they clearly weren't listening. Terrible support experience.

I just got an offer from YOU TUBE to get much fewer ads ( their ads are very frequent, very long and they are on for what seems like years ). Anyway of course I decided to take them up on their offer. They asked for my bank info and I gave it to them thinking that I would not be charged until after my 1 month for free. Here they went and told me that I was declined for insufficient funds! How dare they try to take the money out now. I am low on funds but get paid on Friday. I went to my online bank but nothing had come up yet. This is why I use virtual debit cards but this one will get canceled so You Tube does not try to take anymore money from me. Sheila

The account management forbids you from simply creating an account. The developers took the lazy approach and decided that they would simply piggy back off of the google accounts, instead of building a dedicated account management system for YouTube TV. Anyone who has ever purchased any professional services from google understands how buggy the interfaces are. The youtube tv experience is no different. Example, you want to switch payment methods?? Good luck. You will need 2 to 3 hours to do this. Then at the end of the process , you will have to "revisit the page in 7 days" to verify your identity. Want to cancel the service? same thing...

Youtube Tv is trash. Paid for everything i could to watch the MLB allstar game only to have it NOT AVAILABLE IN YOUR AREA. Are you kidding me? Youtube is a scam just like everything else in America.

Why do you allow liars to advertise on your site? You have a responsibility that you are not fulfilling. Dishonest and dishonourable criminals are trying to rob your customers by advertising crap on your site. This reflects on you ! take responsibility

Youtube TV is of astoundingly poor design in many regards. I switched from DirectTV hoping to save some money. A minor complaint with YTTV is that its operations are unpredictable. For example, it will often allow you to resume watching a show where you left off, but then it equally often won’t for intractable reasons. One rather moronic feature is that YTTV will start playing something it thinks you might want to watch while you are selecting what you really want to watch. That’s way more than a nuisance when you want to watch a sports game that has already ended and YTTV presents you with the final result before you can even start watching. The concept of spoilers and the notion that these are to be avoided may be foreign to the designers of YTTV. But even when this annoying background feature is not at issue, spoilers are a specialty of YTTV. What happened to me multiple times (unpredictably as usual) is that when stopping to watch a game midway through and then resuming at a later time, YTTV may proudly present you with the final result. No need to highlight that this is about the worst you can do to a sports fan. Watching YTTV on a laptop (Mac OS12 in my case), is an obstacle race. Selecting a DVR recording will sometimes simply not work, something different will instead be presented. Switching to full screen view requires patience, multiple clicks on the edge of the screen and hope (or prayer for the religiously minded). YTTV will furthermore often tell you that you are not where you actually are, but someplace else – and prevent you from accessing, for example, local channels. On a laptop, these issues can be surprisingly lengthy to fix. One final note regarding buffering. As other functions in YTTV, it appears haphazard. I have been streaming Netflix and Max for a long time on a Roku TV, with no problem ever. YTTV on the other hand, even with internet speeds around 300Mbs will be moody and occasionally get into a stuttering mode that requires stopping and waiting.

I hate even give one start. This company supervisor was trying to force me into signing back into this you tube account after I cancelled by certified mail letter a year ago,a email and a phone call they ignored it after telling me I’d be refunded and never did so after providing my email first and last name and email address they still are withholding my money so now I’m going up every command chain consumer rights bbb police report fdic and 3 more complaints and I will be contacting the Ceo . They also slipped and told me they had my work number they took it from my gmail account which I never gave consent to this is theft fraud and false advertising this company is stealing our personal information and going in our personal accounts even after a cancellation was given a year ago and now dangling my money but I promise it won’t end good for them blessings only

The absolute worst! If you enjoy watching a little tiny wheel go round and round, YouTube TV is for you. If you enjoy watching your shows stop and start and stutter and whirl, YouTube TV is for you. I absolutely hate it!

Do I even have to give them one star!?!? I NEVER signed up for youtube TV, that is the sad part. They made 7 charges on my account of 88.38. After calling their customer service number three times they finally refunded 352.52... but said because of their system they couldn't refund the other three charges!!! WTF! I have never signed up for it. They have horrible customer service and promise call backs and emails that will NEVER happen.

It was slow yesterday and it is frozen now. At times it just displays ads only and freezes afterwards.

Brain Dead UI - I canceled for this alone. There is no customization. It always starts at the top. It has no logical purpose. It's hot garbage. It is just messy crap. Navigation is abhorrent. The engineers/decision makers are stupid; they have no idea what it means to be human.

It buffers all the time. I've called customer service multiple times and we've done all the things, clearing cache, reset router, deleting and re-downloading the app, verified internet bandwidth and speed etc. Every few minutes programming stalls and all we see is the spinning circle. My friend has the same issue.

It keeps frozen up all the time and it says uploading I'm getting tried of it I'm not going to pay for something it's going to.frozen up all.the time and says uploading???

Started the “free trial” every 3 seconds it buffs and loads. Only app that does this, would NOT buy this shit at all.

Youtube appelas to the brain dead. The staff are totally incompetent and a total waste of time. This is one of the worst social media spots. Don't waste your time. it's a total scam.
