Always loading
Always loading, or buffering at the most crucial times in games, or shows, and it's getting worse, especially with the same commercials over and over. I don't want to see some drug companies advertising for something that doesn't help sales at all in any way. That's a doctors job to decide, not some ridiculous commercial to make people think they can self diagnose their self. It reminds me of trying to sign on to the internet and watch a video back in the late 90's and early 2000's. They might want to update their data capacity and production rate along with the 100's of data centers going up nation wide, instead of minimal production facilities to capitalize on a market that they are now falling way behind on. Censored!!?
Censored shows. Very frustrating. Im a paying customer and grown. If I didn’t want to see certain things I would fast forward. A lot of shows is censored.
Hulu = commercials
Hulu = commercials
What a joke, $80+ per month to watch commercials...will be canceling...not paying yet more to be commercial free when it's already overpriced!!!
If I could give 0star I would.
If I could give 0star I would.
The worst company I have ever subscribed to so please do not make the same mistake.
Hulu stole over $107 from me, all from a past subscription that I cancelled but still kept getting charged for over 9months at a cost of $11.99 per month.
I called multiple times to complain but customer service was so bad and kept hanging up on me.
I just had my final call that has never made me so frustrated. I spoke with Vincent and all he says in “sorry” and “ I understand”——- like be for real and solve the issue here.
Once I expressed how I feel and my dissatisfaction with Hulu’s services he said he could offer a refund of $11.99 —- like be for real.
Furthermore I expressed that is not fair that they steal money from customers.
Vincent hung up on me in the middle of everything.
So dishonest and unprofessional.
Not user friendly
If i pause hulu, it forgets what I'm watching. I find "continue watching" sometimes, and it forgets who I am. Then the screen flashes several things and plays the wrong show, and the wrong episode of the show i had been watching before.
When I rewatch a series, it plays the last 5 minutes of every episode I watched completely, and I have to rewind each episode, even after removing it from my watched list.
Software is just so artful!
Absolute Greed | Unwatchable Experience
I used to love Hulu, but it has officially become completely unwatchable. The sheer volume of advertisements is ridiculous. You get hit with a two-minute ad block before a show even starts, another set right after the intro, and then constant interruptions every five to seven minutes. You end up spending almost as much time watching ads as you do actual content. To make matters worse, the ads play at double the volume of the show, blowing your speakers out of nowhere.
It’s blatantly clear that Hulu does not care about customer experience anymore. They keep jacking up monthly subscription prices while aggressively cramming more ads into the base tiers, all to force paying users into upgrading to the more expensive "No Ads" plan.
Paying a monthly fee just to be treated like a captive audience for endless corporate commercials is an insult. Save your money. This platform puts profits over people every single time. Canceled my subscription.
Why so many ads?
Why so many ads? I literally might as well watch cable TV. Why pay for a subscription that is going to play ads every 3 minutes. Dare I say that cable TV may play less ads! RIDICULOUS!!!
I’m so glad to see that there are others…
I’m so glad to see that there are other others who only rate at one star or less. I’ve been trying to find an alternative and it’s very frustrating. For the amount you pay, the service should be a lot better. Buffering is one complaint, I have to sign in from the beginning almost every day. It cuts out and then I have to go in and redo and usually miss a home run or a touchdown or the final answer. Thought I’d go to DIRECTV haven’t tried it since the dish days, but they don’t do local in my area. It’s a fair sized. city. I don’t know why. Sling also does not do local.. so I’m stuck with YouTube, Hulu, Xfinity. I was very glad to get rid of Xfinity so I don’t really wanna go back there. YouTube is a Google company and I hate Google. If only I could stop watching TV. I love baseball and football and Jeopardy.
It doesn't work
There's hardly anything good to watch and you cant even watch the few good ones cause the damn service barley works! It skips episodes and will make you sit through 5 mins of ads just do fkg crash!!
Hulu needs to either up their game or close down
I haven't had Hulu for years. I had just watched the first two seasons of a show on Netflix but they didn't have the 3rd season which was only on Hulu. I decided to try Hulu again. I paid for the subscription without ads. First, it was a real hassle trying to sign up for it because it kept sending me to Disney which I absolutely did not want, and then it was even more of a hassle trying to get into it on my Apple TV. I literally had to put my email and long password in with the remote because they didn't have any other way to activate it. Then, I start watching the show and the sound is terrible. I have a really nice sound system and it was like listening to TV speakers. There is no way to fix the sound. Also, on Hulu, they changed the names of the characters in the show so I didn't know what was what. I don't even know what would possess them to do that. The translation CC often has words on the screen underneath it so it's hard to read. And...after all of that, even though I paid for no ads, they go to a black screen off and on like they would if they were going to an ad. It happens in the oddest places. That never happened in Season 1 and 2 on Netflix. I cancelled Hulu right away. I'll watch my season 3 show but after that I'm done with it. It costs almost as much as Netflix but the service is nowhere near as good.
This is the craziest software on this…
This is the craziest software on this platform. It can’t log you in half the time. Like seriously, this shit for a company of your stature. Literally can’t log in even though all my information is right. Useless
Constant crashing of hulu and lack of…
Constant crashing of hulu and lack of recent movies. Get tired of seeing same old outdated movies being offered. Pay way too much to be having to go elsewhere to watch new movies.
Crap application
Crap application. Can’t attempt to watch a movie with out it freezing. Especially during those nuisance ads.
I have only gotten thru 1 hr of a 2 hr movie in 2 weeks.
HULU no adds does not exist it is a scam
There is no such thing as Hulu with no adds. I just spent over 45 minutes on the phone with them trying to find anything without adds. Turns out we found a film produced by hulu with no adds but that is as far as it goes. If it was not made by Hulu it will have adds. This is Unbelievably malicious. Talk about false advertising.
There is no customer support
Wow. 1-star rated! I can see my complaint will be taken seriously. I have Hulu included in my T-Mobile plan, so it's basic. I managed to get it set up on my television which is great. It's not on my phone, and today I tried to watch something on my laptop, but when I start to log in, I wind up on the subscription page and they want my money even though I already have an open account.
So, I tried to run it through the chat. The virtual assistant couldn't help but said they'd connect me with a live agent. But I had to log in first! The joke is that I'd already selected "Trouble logging in" on the drop down. After a couple of rounds of "Who's on first" with the Artificially Inept agent, it told me to go to the "Contact Us" at the top of the page. The "Contact Us" does not exist anywhere. I asked google for a phone an email for support. There isn't one. There is a phone. I tried it. There is a wait message then no message that you are on hold and then it just clicked off after a few minutes.
So I guess that T-Mobile's free Hulu means you get Hulu on one device if you're lucky????
Would be nice if someone would confirm that for me.
This makes me so eager to sign up for a bundle!.. Not.
So many ads
Even free streaming services have less ads. Such a let down Hulu.
Far too many commercials.
Hulu live - a case study in profits over product
I pay for the live tv package, which runs about 100 a month. This price is INSANE considering I still have to watch ads(LOTS of ads). Also there are the UI issues. This company has seemingly done nothing to improve the experience considering the amount of bugs. Today I paused a movie, then tried to resume. It just got caught in a loop loading, and since, shockingly, there isn’t an option to start a movie from the beginning this left me stuck until the token expired(presumably). No idea if this helps anyone else, but look to Hulu for a company that genuinely doesn’t care. Prices and ad time go up, value goes down.
