Very good user experience of site and product descriptions. Using the best partners for payment and delivery - Klarna and DHL.
Skip the worst ones. - UPS and PayPal.
The ease of ordering. I know that their delivery is always outstanding so that is never an issue.

Iv ordered from this company previously without any problems. This purchase was trouble free and very easy to navigate around there web site. Iv always found the items to be of good quality. Iv decided to purchase a six plug extension including usb connections for safety and quality reasons. I'm a very satisfied customer.

This company charged me €45 (£40) for a setup on a Harley Benton guitar which was never completed. The guitar arrived with a loose bridge pot which isn't working due to a loose wire. The guitar needs a tech repair. I've sent countless emails to Thomann, and they deny any wrongdoing (despite happily charging me €45 for a setup) and refuse to accept culpability. They're even preventing my account from leaving a review on their website. I'd strongly recommend avoiding Thomann and buying from an alternative seller. I would give zero stars if I could.

I have purchased before from them and had zero issues. I decided to purchase a cable and got an email that my name was on some sort of restrictions and sanctions lists.
I am Bulgarian, and I am ordering from Bulgaria. So, in order for them to go through with the order, they required me to send a photo of my government-issued ID to confirm my identity. No way in hell I'll send a photo of my ID over email, just for my info to get leaked.
Not purchasing from them ever again.

What every buyer should know about Thomann is that it's a massive corporation and it behaves like one. It's not a champion of the customer.
Their primary objective is to make money, and you as a customer should stand your ground when that objective bulldozes your rights.
I ordered four hard cases for my guitars for 9,436 SEK. Every single case arrived with damages.
The cases were packaged without bubblewrap, with only some loose cardboard floating around in the packages as protection.
I sent images of all damages for all cases, but apparently they needed more photographs. So I created and linked them an extremely detailed documentation of the specific cases and their respective damages along with the order number. They did not use the documentation structure I provided and instead referred to the cases as ‘bag1’, ‘bag2’, and so on.
They accepted that ONE of four were damaged but "weren't 100" on the others, despite the 38 images I had taken.
They then offered me a 400 SEK discount if I just wanted to keep the cases as they were. Remember that the entire package was 9,436 SEK. So for 4 out of 4 damaged cases, I was offered what... 4% of a discount.
I don't know if they tried to pass off B-stock items as pristine for full price and just hoped I wouldn't notice or if their quality control is non-existent. Neither option is good.
When they FINALLY agreed to instruct me on how to send the packages back, they also had the audacity to tell me "We ask that you carefully follow each step in our packaging instructions to prevent any damage during return shipping. Thomann assumes no liability for damage caused by poor or inadequate packaging."
The instructions they provide require a substantial amount of bubble wrap and protective packing material. However, these return-packaging standards did not match the packaging I received from Thomann in the first place.
I do not believe customers should be expected to purchase additional packaging materials out of their own pocket in order to return products that arrived damaged. If Thomann considers extensive protective packaging necessary for safe transport, then I would expect the same standard to be applied when shipping products to customers.
After I had sent the packages back I clearly stated that I wanted a full refund, and not replacement cases.
It took 11 days of asking to actually get them to give me instructions on how to properly return the packages, and 18 days from the date I contacted Thomann about their defective cases to the date they actually paid me back the money I was owed.
TLDR;
I paid 9,436 SEK for four new cases. All four arrived damaged. I documented the damage extensively. Thomann initially disputed parts of my claim and offered a 400 SEK discount (4% of what I paid). After 18 days, I returned everything and received a refund. I was left without the cases I needed and would not buy from them again.
I did not get the cases I paid for, which were cases I needed so not only was I without almost 10,000 SEK for 3 weeks, I also couldn't transport my guitars because of the garbage that Thomann sent me.
It's exhausting dealing with Thomann. And as one of the WORLD's largest retailer of musical equipment, offering a 4% discount is an insult to your customer.
I'll never buy from Thomann again, and neither should anyone. Buy from your local store or from a different online store with better service and care.

I would given zero stars if the option were available. Awful customer service here in the UK. I've been given the back forth between thomann and DHL over my parcel which at the time of writing, has been delayed twice. Lost. Delivered to the wrong address. Then magically found and undelivered. Now has been delayed again. Thomann are doing nothing about it and I have instead had to go down the avenue of contacting citizens advice UK. If you are thinking or purchasing here in the UK think again and find whatever you're looking for anywhere else. A shoddy company that uses a shoddy delivery service. BUYER BE WHERE.
Buyer beware! This company does not stand behind the products it sells. I purchased a number of 484 Lift-o-matic for the music conservatory that I were I am employed. One of the benches began to malfunction and the customer service representative, began with a boilerplate email. As it turns out they have zero service for these benches in the United States. They recommend I find my own provider to get an estimate for repair. The issue was is because the bench has a weight limit of 30kg (66lbs) which is not in any of the literature. I am not sure why this is advertised as
"Excellently suited for use in music schools"
"Suitable for children and adults"
They do not honor the "3-year warranty"

Quick and Easy to make a purchase- secure but not too many time wasting and unnecessary security checks. Free deliver is good

I ordered a few items and the service in the last couple of years was always very good. However I just ordered a piano and they refused it to bring it upstairs and left it on the curb. There is no option to pay more and get it delivered to your flat. There is a message buried in the small print but that is just to avoid litigation, it doesn't help in the least. Disappointing and utterly ridiculous.
