Do not buy, will not last!

Do not buy, not fit for purpose, will last less than a year and skechers do not care if it last just
over 6 months. Have had many of these shoes over the years and all lasted well until my
September 2025 purchase. By June/July 2026 the inner sole already developed a hole to the
point of being unusable. Contacted skechers but they just hid behind 6 month consumer
protection and offered a discount on shoes that have significantly increased in price anyway

Worst Golf Shoe / Skechers

Bought Skechers GO Golf Arch Fit - Line Up golf shoe 30 days ago. Played in it once a week. Now, sole detached. Worst shoe ever. 1 month for nothing. Skechers : You have lost a Customer plus a 100 others (through word of mouth). Will never ever buy 'Skalpers' or any Skalpers shoes for that matter. Adios forever.....

I purchased sketcher sport with the Goodyear Soule. This shoe is terrible. The faux, leather peeled within two weeks. The soul of the shoe was splitting and coming unglued after four months.

The shoe does not get worn every day. It should easily last a year or two.
worst sketcher shoe I’ve ever purchased.

Worthless shoe laces

On Feb 20, 2025, I purchased Skechers Slip-ins: Max Cushioning Arch Fit 2.0 - Antilles
Men's
Color: NAVY / ORANGE

Size: 11.5 Extra Wide

#220564-NVOR

Today I noticed that the laces at the top eyelit frayed and about to break. These shoes wer purchased a little oversized due to a foot issue. There is not much stress placed on that area so I don't know why the laces are ready to break. I've had other non-Skechers whose laces are still strong and intact. I won't be buying any more of their shoes if they can't keep something as simple as shoe laces from breaking under light wear. Awful quality

Skechers Flex Appeal 4.0 with…

Skechers Flex Appeal 4.0 with Air-Cooled Memory Foam 149303/BBK Brilliant View runners are great but two major flaws: 1) sole is very non-grip aka slippery 2) pattern of grooves on the sole catches small rocks. It is so bad they are being replaced before actually being worn out.

Skechers = a safety hazard to older people when walking

A few months ago I bought a pair of Skechers for walking. They sat in a box until 2 weeks ago when I decided to use them in Spain during a tour. The walks I took were not severe, they were over normal city terrain and at an easy pace. After 11 days I tripped (on nothing) and thought nothing of it. The next day I tripped twice (on nothing) and examined the shoe. No visible indication of a problem. The last day I tripped once in the airport, again on nothing with no visible indication of a defect. This time I came close to a major fall. These experiences with a pair of shoes that cost nearly $100 are scary. Being 79 years old I cannot afford such a fall and will see if they will withstand just walking around the house. But clearly this pair are a safety hazard to older people and I will not buy them again. I dont usually review anything but because of human safety this product needs a warning and as such is way overpriced.

Women's

Women's
Work: Arch Fit 2.0 Slip Resistant really like the arch support in these Skechers Work shoes. The Arch Fit support feels good and provides nice support for my arches.
However, I’m disappointed with the overall comfort. After wearing them for a while, my feet start to hurt. My toes and the sides of my feet hurt constantly while wearing them. I also expected better slip resistance, but they do not feel as slip-resistant as I expected from a work shoe.
The arch support is good, but the discomfort around my toes and the sides of my feet makes these difficult to wear for long shifts. I work on my feet, so comfort and slip resistance are very important to me. Unfortunately, these shoes did not work well for me.

Ordered the trainers when they came was…

Ordered the trainers when they came was fast delivery. But had to return them pick up successful. Heard from Skechers to say they had received them back ok on the 18th July but still no refund from them got to open up a claim now with my credit card company. They probably do this to hang on to your money longer and only give it back when your credit card company becomes involved. So for this reason I would never purchase from them again. Looking how many bad reviews there is on here you wouldn’t expect this from a well known company. I tried to get through to Skechers but to no avail. How silly of them and bad management on there part they must lose a lot of business. The shoes are great in general but customer service lets them down terribly

Ripped off

Bought several new pairs of shoes from you in past 2 mos. One pair, the rubber sole is shredding away already and barely wore them. Called and they won't do anything. Will not buy again! Longtime customer no more.

Manufacturing defect

Manufacturing defect, no support from Skechers Spain
Sole cracked and separated on a pair of Skechers sandals after only 4 months of light, normal use — a clear manufacturing defect for a product this age. I contacted Skechers Spain directly with photos and proof of purchase (€59.99, 13 April 2026). Their response was to redirect me back to the retailer, who had already redirected me to Skechers. Neither party would offer a remote resolution, despite my being based in Ireland. Poor quality control and a customer service loop that leaves cross-border customers with no real recourse. Escalating to the European Consumer Centre (ECC).

For 3 months the Slip-In was a good shoe. but shoes should last longer than 3 months before seams start to rip and fray. Especially for the price they ask.
I will be staying away from Sketchers. Customer service only offered to receive them and evaluate if its a defect (either way no shoes coming back) terrible system.

Sketchers

Sketchers, the most comfortable shoe you will buy for the money.
But if you are expecting them to last forget it.
Water proof golf shoes, after a few months white turned pink under the outer layer and they fell apart behind the heel
White trainers, whatever is under the quilted layer started to show through, being a poo brown this made them look awful.
For better quality and comfort buy New Balance if you have wide feet

Comfy stuff, so cute, please have more plant based leather shoes

I just love Skechers. I loved them back when I attended a school physically similar to Hogwarts in my youth and needed to run up and down five floors, all around a massive old building the size of several city blocks. I’m adult me still wearing them when I’m not in my heels. Skechers is the life. Everything is so cute for going to work or running errands, or school. All ages. Any skirts or trousers!

🥳 I only wish you had more vegan options as leather is so 1999, even for meat eaters, with the large amount of carcinogens and questionable labour that goes into leather production. *People doubting me can read how people fall into vats of chemicals with skin injuries and the many leather production concerns.* I’ve never had a bad pair of shoes from Skechers! And so price affordable.

Poor Quality, Poor customer service.

Nice shoe, fits decent, slip on system is great. But quality is horrible. The internal fabric and the seem between the fabric and leather at the back failed in about 12 months. EU Warranty is supposed to be 24 months but "this type of damage is not covered".
They were however able to give me a discount coupon. Told them I'd be looking at other brands.

Useless shoes

Useless shoes, worse customer service
Review:
Do not waste your money on Skechers NZ. My shoes developed a hole after just 3 months of normal wear. When I contacted support, they blamed me, ignored my messages for weeks, and refused to honor the Consumer Guarantees Act. Shocking quality and total refusal to fix a clear fault.

I suffered plantar fasciitis last year…

I suffered plantar fasciitis last year and changed all my outdoor footwear. But at home I was wearing the same unsupported slippers. I realised I need to change that fast...
I tried on a pair of Sketchers Archfit backless sandals and my feet were immediately cushioned and supported. I've worn them constantly indoors for a year now and the fabric on one over-foot strap has started to wear - I think they have lasted very well, but I will look for replacement soon - probably replace with same.

For this year, I mostly wore trainers but in the heatwaves, I needed outdoor sandals. Although my feet have improved, I now understand the need for good footwear.
I visited Sketchers and tried on Arch fit summer sandals - wow! what a relief! I bought them - a walked out of the shop in them.....

I highly recommend Archfit!

I am a senior citizen. Since I received my first pair, it is the only shoe that I will buy. I own gym shoes, regular shoes, and sandals. I wear them to church. My question is it possible that you could make a high shine dress shoe?
