Claim denied as we chose prioritising medical care than calling the insurance

I had a horrible experience. My wife and I were travelling and she got sick while boarding the plane at the layover and was taken to airport medical center for emergency care. Later when we filed the claim, it was denied citing that we didnt contact the insurance before abandoning the flight. I was at loss of words how can it be expected that we have to call insurance right away even when dealing with medical emergency. If the insurance cannot cater to such simplest of cases, then I think it is no less than a scam. I am very skeptic of any positive review perhaps they only want to help German consumers.

Very bad experience

Very bad experience, I have to cancel a trip due to a COVID infection and they didn't want to cover the costs, because I had a Long COVID syndrome, they considered a worsening of a previous condition. Let's see what the lawyers say

LTA - All in One Premium: terrible experienced

Bad experience with this insurance company. Due to an international move I needed to cancel the contract. Not only did it take a week for Customer Service to reply to me, they refused to let my contract be ended immediately because of the move (something all other companies I had contracts with accepted) and served up a sarcastic comment. In addition to this, the policy is relatively expensive and has too many exceptions where customers do not qualify for refunds. I cannot recommend this insurance company due to its lack of service and general customer centricity.
