Good checkout
Charged nearly double for "guaranteed" next-day delivery — then didn't deliver, didn't communicate, and barely compensated
I found the exact same frames for $145 at multiple other retailers. I chose GlassesUSA instead because they offered next-day delivery for $275 + $20 shipping — nearly double the price — specifically because I needed the glasses fast. I placed my order before their stated 11am cutoff and received confirmation that next-day delivery was locked in.
The next day at 3pm, my order was still listed as "in production." I contacted them multiple times through multiple channels. Live chat told me someone would follow up in 2-3 business days, then closed the chat before I could respond. When I finally reached someone by phone, I was told directly that there was no way the glasses would arrive that day — despite paying a premium specifically for that guarantee.
Their resolution: a refund of the $20 shipping fee and $20 off a $400 order. That's it. No accountability for charging a $130+ premium over market price for a delivery promise they didn't keep.
If you're considering paying extra for expedited shipping here, know that the guarantee is not enforced and the compensation for failing to honor it is minimal. I would not order from GlassesUSA again.
