Veterans and Aspen Dental…
I am a veteran and Aspen Dental is doing a so called "special" for Veterans Day. Its supposed to be free services for getting done what you need done but it's only 1 day and spots are limited. It takes place on Nov 7th and I had to book the appointment on Sept 29 just to secure a spot. My bottom denture (which I got from Aspen Dental around 1½ to 2 years ago) is broken in 3 places. For about the past year I have been repairing it myself with super glue and epoxy, I'd fix it and it would last about 3-5 months and I would have to fixe it again. Over time of doing this, the alignment kept getting worse and worse. Now, the denture is causing pain to my lower gum. Ever since I booked the appointment, they have been finding more and more excuses for why they can't do it... Just wondering, is this how all patients are being treated or just the Veterans? If you're going to offer a "service", make sure you're willing to perform the service before people invest time and effort into getting that service.
Experience with Aspen Dental Springfield mo
The staff were nice. Would not call me by my preferred name.
The dentist was abrasive, rough, and a possessed very few people skills especially when he was wrong.
My dental implants have failed. He said it was because I was not following protocols. This is not true. I did what I was told. When I told him that, he called me a liar.
I would not ever return to this business.

I went to Aspen looking to have a simple cleaning only to find out I have gum disease on the bottom only, I was told I needed a set for the bottom. The amount to pull and the partial set was nearly 5k. I do not have that kind of cash so they financed me (of course). The partial broke in half, so eating is a challenge. Not going back and waiting to be seen at MUSC hospital.
Bad Customer Service/Business
Had appointment for a same day broke denture, representative had to verify my insurance after 20 mins she tell me they can’t find me in their system & she will check again “another 15 mins pass, they still can’t verify me & do I want to reschedule? No I do not. I HAD TO CALL THEY VERIFIED ME RIGHT AWAY, Then she say as soon as the xray room is ready I can go back. “It’s an hour pass my appointment ”and why do I need an xray for a same day denture repair? I had to leave because I refuse to get a service i didn’t ask for.
Horrible!
Horrible!
I called for a cracked denture and was told they could repair it in an hour or less.
It took almost an hour to fill out unnecessary forms, medical history etc. Finally I was taken inside and was told I needed X-rays. I asked why and they said they would refuse service without them. I tried to explain that I was only there to have a crack repaired in my dentures and the X-rays were useless.
“I’m sorry sir but you must have the X-rays” I walked out.
Never go there, all they do is unnecessarily treatments to bilk you out of your money.
TERRIBLE!!!!!
My experience with Aspen Dental was absolutely unacceptable. I had a tooth extraction on October 30, 2026, and experienced continued bleeding that required me to seek emergency care at the ER.
I contacted Aspen Dental’s emergency number TWICE and spoke with two different representatives, explaining my situation and requesting a callback from the on-call dentist. I even informed them that I had to go to the ER. Despite this, NO ONE ever called me back.
It is unacceptable to leave a patient feeling abandoned after a dental procedure, especially when they are experiencing complications and seeking professional guidance. The lack of communication, concern, and follow-up was extremely disappointing and added unnecessary stress to an already frightening situation.
Getting paid for a procedure should not be where patient care ends. Patients deserve to feel that their health and well-being matter even after they leave the office. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Aspen Dental.

I went in over a broken tooth and a hole in my upper jaw that was unexplained the nurse blew off my complaint of the hole not even really looking so dentist just agreed with her than did nothing about the broken tooth I came in for an emergency visit for he was more worried about pushing me into dentures to look pretty with not any concern for the issue I was in for obviously he doesn't care about his patience issue and wants to push his expenses dentures on everyone he should have pulled the tooth that was the issue I went there for so now im sitting here with a broken tooth and a cut up inside of my cheeks became he didn't do his job and this was my second visit to aspen the first emergency appointment the dentist didn't show up to work he was running late so 45 min. After my appointment time I left because the dentist is a flake and couldn't make it to work to do his job so if you need a dentist don't waist your time going to aspen dental because your better off going to anywhere else you can this dentist is a flake and dose not listen to his patience about their problems he just wants to push his dentures and get his pockets full of cash with this little work as possible go find yourself a decent dentist this one this place sucks it's out Gateway don't go there
The customer service hung up the phone
The customer service hung up the phone! She didn't answer any questions that I had about billing. Her name was Natasha and she didn't know why my credits weren't applied properly to my billing invoice.
Went to tthe Tilton office today…
Went to tthe Tilton office today because I dropped my top denture and broke it in half. They got me right in and fixed it in as little as 3 hours for no out of pocket cost to me. everyone was wonderful, the whole episode of the broken denturewas made pleasant.
The worst experience ever!!!
I went to have a tooth on my bottom plate and they told me I needed to have both my denture plates re aligned since it had been over a year. That I was suppose to come back a year after to get this done. And that because it was over the year mark I would have to pay for it. They said it would take 2 hours and it took pretty much all day. So not only did I miss a entire day of work but my top plate that used to stay in now just immediately falls down! No suction what so ever! And both plates are so thick now I feel like I have a mouth full of teeth. And my top plate doesn't even sit against the roof of my mouth. There's about a quarter inch gap. Since I can't afford to loose more time off of work I'm stuck with them. Extremely unhappy with Aspen dental woodhaven. I wish I would have never done the alignment.
They do not tell you its an up front…
They do not tell you its an up front payment and give you one amount you need to pay for a cleaning and when you get there its a different charge. The pre visit is a consultation to see what your medical history is and I had two crowns done and I was charged more than my Insurance said I should of been. They submitted pre work to them but no post work its been six months. This place is a joke I wouldn't recommend it to my enemies. Stay away!!

10/21 called to ask how much an extraction would have been. I have been told I needed to be seen and the only available appointment was on the 26th. I told I was in pain and I also called back to make sure they would add me to the cancelation list.
10/26 appointment for 1.30pm. At 2pm I have asked if they were late. The front desk gentleman went to check and came back, told me the price of an extraction. I told him he had me coming in and he didn't even say I am sorry. He then tried to tell me that, since I had X-ray 6 months ago, I had to take those again, for an extraction?!? I told him there is an infection and I needed antibiotics before the extraction and he said " oh I can give you an appointment to be seen in two days".So why did he had me going today? I drove 45 minutes for something I asked over the phone and he couldn't give it to me.
And if it is walk in why I couldn't be seen??
I guess they don't care about customers!
my visit resulted in poor customer satisfaction
my visit resulted in most of my treatment not being covered by insurance. Simple cleaning of my implants. Then I got a bill, the cleaning was not covered and the bill wanted $120, then talked to my insurance and they would cover it under a different code. and they recommended Aspen Dental refile the claim with a new recommended code---the office (Danville, Ky) would not do anything to help without the insurance company calling them---that resulted in a 50+ minute wait trying to get connected and it was still not solved. Most firms would just take the info and resubmit--they would not...
I would not recommend them, they do not accept the payment from insurance-you have to pay the cost they want--that's not normal, most accept the insurance payment. The calling and the waits are terrible.
I wish I would have never went here for…
I wish I would have never went here for dentures. They have not fit right since I got them and multiple times of hard lines and soft lines they dont help. My dentures was the immediate dentures. I get blisters inside my mouth where they rub. No matter how much adhesive I use they come loose. The edges are rough so I end up with cuts in my mouth. They always have someone new trying to fix the problem. They do the lazer process to get the fit for your dentures where they need to go back to getting a better fit with impression. If you can do not choose them for your dentist. Way over priced
Be Careful with Aspen Dental’s…
Be Careful with Aspen Dental’s Financing Plan!
I want to warn other patients about my experience with Aspen Dental. I needed some dental work done, and I was offered what I understood to be a 12-month, zero-interest payment plan for approximately $5,000. I was never clearly informed that I was actually applying for a CareCredit " CREDIT CARD" through Synchrony Bank.
I only realized this after receiving an email informing me that a CREDIT CARD would be sent to me by mail. I felt misled because I believed I was agreeing to a "Aspen dental PAYMENT PLAN ", not applying for a credit card. I already have a Visa credit card that gives me rewards and that is the only credit card I use to pay for everything!
The way I understand it, Aspen Dental gets paid upfront through the credit provider, while the patient is left making monthly payments on the credit card account.
I immediately contacted Synchrony Bank to cancel or close the account and decided not to proceed with further treatment at Aspen Dental.
My advice: Be very careful! Before agreeing to any financing offered at Aspen Dental, ask specifically whether you are applying for a credit card. Patients deserve transparency and should know exactly what they are signing. I am sharing my experience to warn others and help them avoid the same confusion and frustration.

I had my teeth removed and Dentures put in. There's a little pain and a little swelling which is to be expected. The staff was absolutely amazing. The assistant with the Dr made everything so smooth. She was positive and helpful. The Dr was amazing. She tried her best to be gentle. I left there so happy. My dentures are perfect. Im so happy I chose aspen. Thank you to all the staff especially Allison. Allison, your crew made a very pleasant experience. I can be very difficult but your staff took great care of me and other than the shots in the roof of the mouth was the worst but still well worth it for my dental work. Im so pleased and they look great. Thank you so much!
I would never work for Aspen again
I would never work for Aspen again. So disappointing and underhanded. It all about the money not about a patient. The claim is all about the patient. It’s not.
Went to Aspen dental for new dentures …
Went to Aspen dental for new dentures and was talked into thier motto product. It did help but financed what my ins co did not pay. The internet rate is 33.3 percent . Taking 18 months to pay off this motto. 36.66 dollars every week for 18 months still have 8 more months till its paid off. And now aspen dental says I still owe them 599.00 dollars even though I financed what they said my ins didn't cover. Never did get denture yes staff eas nice but now I know that was just to get you feeling good so I would say yes to over priced procedures. Also said I could not have a regular cleaning being they said it was against the law if I have early gum disease. Of course the price after my ins covers is 295.00. I feel they owe me money and I will look into filling a small claims lawsuit. Never did get the dentures or overpriced cleaning thanking my lucky stars for this. I am also looking into filling a small claims suit against the finance Co. 33.3 percent is very high in n.j. I don't know if there is a legal limit to what a finance company can charge. Do not go to Aspen dental find a regular dentist.
Aspen Dental is a waste of money!!
Aspen Dental does not know how to make dentures that you can eat with. The teeth are dull from the get go. Can't bite through a slice of tomato or onion. These teeth are a total waste of money. I forced myself to ware them for a year, hoping to get used to them. I finally went back to my old dentures that are 35 years old. Do yourself a favor and go to a REAL dentist. Spend a little more and get dentures that you can be happy with. Stay away from Aspen Dental!
Dr. joe
Dr. Joe in pleasant hills gave me back my smile.i was a mess when I first went there. He gave me hope. He is so kind and caring and patient. I adore him! He is awesome!; so is the rest of the staff! J
