CLEANS OK.....BUT
I THINK IT DOES A DECENT JOB OF CLEANING, BUT...
I have used Oral-B rotating head electric toothbrush in the past, and I was pleased with it. The past few years I have switched to the Philips Sonicare electric toothbrush. My new dentist recommended the Oral B toothbrush and I got the IO model 3770. I noticed that the brush head has a hole in it for whatever reason and every time I brush with it, the water out of my mouth flows down the toothbrush head and to the body of the toothbrush onto my arm and it drips down my arm. Very very poor design. I'm thinking about getting either another model of the Oral-B or just going back to the sensodyne. Wow Oral B, you guys should test out your design and see what it does.
I have replaced my old Braun electric…
I have replaced my old Braun electric toothbrush with the PROtimer 3 modes one and don't like it at all. I have to keep pressing the button on it when I first put it in my mouth to get the high speed and the head was better being round as I don't feel it's doing it's job right
We bought two of the most expensive …
We bought two of the most expensive Oral B toothbrushes on the market, they both have failed. They both have charging issues, and the newer toothbrushes are hard to keep the head of the brush clean. Do not buy this product.
I O brushes a total rip off
I bought a new Oral biO 3 toothbrush earlier this year and I was told that the toothbrushes would last for approximately 3 months when brushing regularly and properly.
I’ve found that after 5 to 6 weeks the brushes start going white which is a sign that they need replacing. That is half the time the brushes should be in use.
These brushes are extremely expensive to purchase and I find that this is obviously a rip off by the company for customers to purchase new expensive products when they are no better than the older version toothbrushes and heads.
I will soon be disposing of my i0 toothbrush and going back to my older version. I’m not paying those exorbitant prices.
Avoid
Avoid. Sent my toothbrush in to be repaired been waiting over a week and received no communication off them. Crap
Refusing statutory refund for faulty toothbrush – Offloading discontinued stock and useless customer service
I purchased an Oral-B iO Series 6 toothbrush directly from the official Oral-B UK online store. The unit developed a major battery management defect—a widely documented issue across the iO lineup. After returning the item, customer support and their third-party repair centre offered only to send a discontinued iO Series 8 handle (which likely consists of old shelf stock or refurbished units that carry the exact same battery risks) or another iO Series 6 handle. Dealing with customer service has been a complete joke—they flatly refuse a cash refund over the phone and keep reciting rigid internal scripts instead of taking accountability. As the retailer who took my money, Oral-B UK is legally bound by Section 24 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Since you cannot supply a reliable, non-defective active model, I am exercising my statutory Final Right to Reject the item for a full cash refund. Forcing old discontinued stock on customers to avoid processing legal refunds is completely unacceptable. I expect an escalation manager to contact me directly to process a full refund to my original payment method.
Horrible and very poor customer…
Horrible and very poor customer service, it's really depending who you are having on the phone, they each will tell you a different thing, what a shame!! Their website is full of corrupted flashy discount which made me lost too much time, to finally picking the wrong colour toothbrush, just because as their discount QR code WON'T WORK... website is very tiring to search...
And their customer service are definitely not here to help, just giving MISLEADING informations... Also was supposed to receive my full refund on Tuesday, so had to call them again on Saturday and they explained that because they are not being notified when the item is returned to them, I MUST be the one calling to ask for the refund to be processed. Wow
Bad product/terrible service
I would give the Oral B toothbrush 0 stars if that were available. I can't attest to how the toothbrush may have at been at cleaning because it had such a extreme vibration at the outset, I could not use it. It shook my head and gave me a headache after just a few seconds. But, the customer service was the worst ever. They advertise a 60 Money Back Guarantee everywhere and boy is that a lie. I tried for a month to get a refund and return label and all I got were more lies and stalling tactics. So, I brought it back to Walmart, which I should have done in the first place. I have used Sonic Care tooth brushes for years and found them to be high quality and very reliable. I bought this Oral B IO2 tooth brush because a friend said her dentist recommended it. I really regret it. But, it makes me wonder if there isn't some kind of pay to play scheme with Oral B and dentists because I see the one star reviews dominate at 83% and dentists still recommend a terrible product. Hmm....stinks to high heaven...... I would like to add that after I left this review I went to the Oral B website to leave a review there but they have the buttons that lead you where you could leave a review and snippets of others' reviews but in actuality there is no way you can leave a review. There isn't any place to write the review. More deception.
Crap IOS Products and the Worst Customer Service EVER
What crap products and customer service. I have been using Oral-B electric tooth brushes for many many years. Yesterday, I bought the IO6 from the Oral-B UK website and it arrived today. The first impression is that the brush is of such poor plastic compared to the older versions, flimsy light plastic and also has arrived in two pieces, the bottom part that sits on the charger is separate from the rest of the body with a spring floating separately too. This is something one is happy to accept as manufacturer's error which should be a straightforward issue to be resolved with either a replacement or a refund. What I wasn't expecting is to be dealing with the worst customer service on the planet. Lazy, liars and good for nothing staff that they keep brushing you off and asking you to call another number. These idiots trained to push you away which you'll reach by accident as the automated service is geared to avoid talking to customers. Try contact us on their website and it doesn't load. Speaks volume about these con artists.
In essence they take your money and sell you faulty products and make every attempt to scam you by avoiding to give you a resolution. AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID and do read the reviews before wasting your money to Oral-B
UPDATE: The brush (order no 789937456) has been received by your people. You now have to make things right for a change and issue a refund and immediately
I would have loved the io series if....
I would have loved the io series. If it had actually worked. First the sensors wouldn't actually say where I was brushing. Half the time it would not detect the front teeth at all. Additionally it would not fully charge. Or completely turn off so I was trying to charge it every 2 days. Because it was constantly on. I contact the customer service. I was trying to see if they had a "fix". They didnt have anything that I didnt already try. Then, I was hoping to just switch them out. However, they wanted me to send back my original before they sent the new one. Which, if I have to purchase another toothbrush. I will just get it from a different company and hopefully it will work. Then came trying to do the money back guarantee. Which was a huge hassle and still waiting for them to determine if I even get the money back guarantee. Even though nothing on the toothbrush worked. I would definitely NOT recommend this company. Since the toothbrush doesn't work and the customer service is terrible. Not going away from electric toothbrushes, just went with a different brand.

I gave it to my friend that has REALLY BAD BREATH LIKE ABOMINATION ITS SMELLS LIKE ROTTEN FISH.

Customer services backtrack on promises after you order
Had trouble applying a discount code whilst ordering, so rang customer services. They told me to place the order at full price, they would make a note on the file, and I should contact them again once I received the order and they would apply the discount as a refund.
I placed the order then got a message from CS saying they would not apply the discount. No apology, no explanation for the fact I was told otherwise and placed an order based on false promises.
Absolutely scummy, deceptive behaviour. Do not trust a word their reps say.
Rusted!
We have purchased Oralb electric toothbrushes for years. Then, we bought one that cost well over 100 USD. That's a lot of money, but it was rusting! How appalling? The metal tip that holds the toothbrush and enters your mouth actually rusted! No joke!
Disappointed
Disappointed – Not worth the money
I have been using Oral-B electric toothbrushes for years and always loved them. My older models lasted for years without any problems. Because of that, I bought the Oral-B iO, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment.
After only two years, the battery completely stopped charging, so the toothbrush is now useless. On top of that, the brush heads were terrible—they did not work properly, and the bristles started falling out after a short time of use.
I feel so embarrassed because I even recommended this toothbrush to a friend. For such an expensive product, the quality is very poor. I expected much better from Oral-B. Total disappointment.
An Oral B advert interrupted a program…
An Oral B advert interrupted a program I was watching. So while I wait for ad to finish I'm giving you 1 star.

The app sucs it resets during the brush time why use it if it doesn't work
Not surprised with the terrible rating
Not surprised with the terrible rating. Infuriating customer service. Purchased a toothbrush and sale comfirmed by email. Followed up with an email and link to say payment was declined. Nothing wrong with my credit card. Asked to action. Link bounces you around to nowhere. Try to follow up through archaic messaging system asking for screenshot. Not able to upload.. i just gave up after multiple attempts. This company must like losing business by annoying potential customers. Their customer service needs an operational efficiency over haul.
Do not believe the hype and Buy a system that works!!
Oral B and its parent company Procter & Gambol are examples of everything that is wrong with large corporations these days. Hiding behind their claims of laboratory testing, science and recommendations from dentists, they market highly overpriced and under- performing oral hygiene products that require you to buy into a system but which fail to deliver. And when customers confront them with evidence to that fact, they simply treat them with contempt and deflect. I know because I used the product, gathered the evidence and passed over to them. I asked for nothing in return except for an honest review of the data. They cut me dead, and evaded the issue. I wrote to senior management, they never responded. All I got was silence. I obviously hit a nerve! The iO electric tooth brushes that cost £300 are ok but require you to buy into an eco system designed to fleece you. Replacement iO brush heads that are supposed to last 3 months with an RRP of up to £50 for 4, often struggle to last 4 weeks without collapsing. But as you've invested in the handle you have to invest in the brushes. I have the proof on file. I offered samples for evaluation, P&G weren't interested. The product is not the superior pemium product it purports to be. Look past the gimmicks and you'll see. P&G know their product is variable, and verging on very, very poor for the money, but they simply don't care! Save your money, do your research and then do yourself a big favour and buy a product that works! Don't entrust your oral health to this company!
Really poor customer service
Really poor customer service. My dentist recommended a particular toothbursh which I bought from their online shop becuase my dentist gave me a dsicount code. The toothbrush was not fit for purpose (too big, really heavy, didn't charge, etc) so I tried to return it under their advertised 30 Day Money Back Guarantee. Two months after having proof of delivery of my toothbrush to their returns centre I'm still waiting for a refund. If you must use Oral-B products, I'd highly recommend sourcing them from other retailers with better customer service ratings. I'd give this company zero stars if I could.
Disgraceful Quality
Between 2023 and 2026, I've been through 4 IO brushes (IO 6 twice & IO 9 twice). Combined with my partner's experiences, it would be 6 toothbrushes in total. Every single time, a toothbrush's life would follow the same cycle:
1. Receiving the toothbrush - all good for a while.
2. Toothbrush battery starts dying mid-brushing despite being charged to 100%. No warning at all.
3. Oral-b service replaces the toothbrush with a brand-new one.
Now, you might think the toothbrush gets replaced with a brand-new one. None of these things. After a while, it breaks again in the same way - obviously, you can't replace it after the warranty expires.
I find it completely unacceptable for a toothbrush at this price range to last so short. Additionally, they've got a huge mould problem. Pieces of black mould like to collect in the handle, inside the base where a brushead goes (despite storing the toothbrush without a brushead on at all times + washing it after every use).
Both these problems concern different models (IO6 and IO9). This makes me think that maybe they don't acknowledge these issues at all and just spam new models without fixing common issues in their current flagships.
