Completed payment in full for ccj before deadline.
Overdales have not sent receipt in letter form stating paid in full, and most importantly have not notified the court to cancel ccj.
Having no email address to contact & no way to reclaim the account log in to get it up in format to send to the court myself I am having to pay court form fee with the hope a bank statement will be sufficient enough to do overdales work for them.
Complaints@overdales isn’t a valid email address and does not work .
They will reply to reviews stating to contact a non existent contact option, complete cowboys & I am genuinely appalled that courts are allowing them
To process debts over statutory barred and then have no completion on their end once they get the money.

In October 2018 my 25 year old brother took his life over a letter from Lowell/ Overdales. Since then they have done nothing but harassing me, reporting incorrect debts on my credit files, raising county court claims at addresses I haven’t lived for years and even now drag out a simple request to remove an inaccurate default. They’re a horrible vile company and it’s about time they see what they’ve done to me and my family

Trust Pilot removed my original post as they claim it contained defamation
Remember people these companies PAY trust pilot and they look after their paying customers….
So we will revise the original post wording.
SOMETIMES Companies like this usually represent Debt Collection companies, and those Debt Collection companies (SOMETIMES / MIGHT) buy debt portfolios that contain thousands of different debts. Thousands of debts bundled together, Loans, Credit Cards, Utility Accounts so on…..
Most of these debts are statute barred which means they cannot legally be enforced in a court of law. However debt collectors will still try to recover these debts hoping people are not aware of the law or the confinements of the Consumer Credit act. These are CIVIL matters NOT matters of Criminal law. It is not illegal to have a debt, go into debt or refuse to pay a debt that has not been proven to be yours or legally enforceable.
So if they want to take you to court they will have to pay, but they won’t take you to court over debt that is statute barred. SOME companies use solicitors linked to their Debt business to send scary looking legal letters to you ! But in reality would be very silly to seek repayment in a court for a debt that is statute barred
Debt Collectors and companies like this have ZERO power ! NONE !
They cannot do anything without a Court Judgement ! If anybody arrives at your door threatening you or threatening to remove your property they must have a LEGITIMATE COURT WRIT - That paperwork must be legitimate and signed by a Judge that day - KNOWN AS A WET SIGNATURE
If they arrive and offer you photocopied paperwork without a wet signature you should call the police as they MIGHT be committing fraud. FRAUD IS A CRIMINAL MATTER
They should not arrive at your property without ORIGINAL legitimate paperwork that’s signed
That is the legal fact of the situation and not Defamatory in any way
If any company arrives at your door they must have the original, correct legal documentation !
This review has been screen shot and if it is once again removed at the request of Overdales by ‘ Trust Pilot ‘ it will be shared on my Socials that have over 600,000 U.K. subscribers
Nothing in this post is Defamatory to anybody ! It is factual

They can't back up accusations. This company have been harassing me for over 5 years now. They have told me at times that I have made payments via cheque to them directly. Since I don't own a cheque book this is physically impossible. They were naming amounts like £6 for example that I had paid by cheque to them on a certain date. I requested that they show me the evidence of the cheque, like what bank it came through, sort code, account number, cheque number all things that they should have evidence off they just kept emailing the amount paid and the date! Literally nothing else! How can a legitimate company not hold copies of how and where a payment came through?! Its diabolical that they are able to harass people in this way but not answer when a SAR is given to them

I called today to discuss settling my debt and closing the account. As many companies offer reduced settlements when a balance is paid off in full, I wanted to understand what options might be available.
I appreciate that not every company offers settlement discounts, and I would have accepted a straightforward "no" if that had been explained clearly from the start. Unfortunately, the conversation felt unnecessarily drawn out and frustrating. It took some time for the representative to understand my enquiry, followed by questions about why I was seeking a discount in the first place.
After a brief hold, I was told that no discount or settlement option was available. The representative then asked whether I wanted to pay the full balance immediately. When I explained that I had called specifically to explore a settlement and resolve the account sooner, the discussion didn't seem to go anywhere productive.
The outcome itself wasn't the issue—I understand company policies are company policies. What disappointed me was the way the enquiry was handled. I contacted them proactively to settle the account, but the conversation felt unhelpful and left me with the impression that there was little interest in finding a constructive resolution.

None can be this incompetent so it all has to be on purpose. Impossible to pay what I owe and want to pay so given up. They are awful, corrupt, dishonest and crap.

Minus one if possible . Disgusting company . Tried to sort out payment plan. You can’t on their website . Phoned them , after an hour the phone went dead. Finally wrote a letter, it got returned. Unbelievably awful . Emailed .. guess what .. ignored that too! This company is seriously breaching every code of conduct and needs to be investigated as so many others have had similar problems . Their website suggests you can do a payment plan, you can’t .. you can only pay full amount or they will carry on with legal
Proceedings . This company is definitely breaking rules as you should be able to enter into a payment plan .
Of course you get the standard reply to your review . Which again is a joke . They never reply . I’m
Speaking to a court next week , regarding them . I have evidence of returned letters , recorded phone calls when trying to get through stating an hour wait time ( and then they disconnect ) and a website that will only let you pay full amount or basically go away . Beware of them

So this company even though my income showed minus £150 a month they doubled the payment. I will be contacting the Ombudsman as this will cost them more than my debt. You should all contact the ombudsman and cost these scum a huge amount of money. They are filth.
Ps.dont bother giving me your standard reply as it is just as crap as your company and patheticly untrained staff. Keep making complaints against them. They hate it.

Hi you have given me ten days to get in touch. I have emails the enquiry line as well as the complaint line and no response! I am unable to call.
Don’t give deadlines if you’re unable to respond! Please help urgently
Reply to your message: I have called three times, all times been on hold for my
Hour lunch break and failed to get through. I can’t keep calling I work 12 hour shifts and care for a disabled child. How is this acceptable when you have given me a ten day deadline that’s approaching? Could you pause all further action on my account until you do manage to get to my email ??????

My experience with Overdales has been extremely frustrating.
I am currently involved in court proceedings concerning an alleged debt that has been disputed on the basis of identity fraud. Throughout this process I have encountered contradictory information, poor communication, and what appears to be a lack of coordination between the various parties involved.
Overdales have, at different times, asserted liability remained while also informing the Court that there was no active judgment to set aside and that the hearing should be vacated. As a customer attempting to understand my position, receiving inconsistent messages has been both confusing and concerning.
When raising questions about fraud indicators identified within SAR disclosures, including email addresses not belonging to the alleged debtor, the use of a deceased relative's telephone number, and the absence of signed agreements or identity verification documents, I found responses often failed to address the specific points being raised.
The matter has caused significant distress to a vulnerable individual, and rather than receiving clear explanations, I have repeatedly had to chase for information and clarification.
My biggest criticism is not simply the dispute itself, but the apparent lack of communication, consistency, and accountability throughout the process. When dealing with serious matters involving court action and enforcement, accuracy and clear communication should be the minimum standard.
I hope the issues raised in this case lead to improvements in how vulnerable customers and disputed accounts are handled in future.

I've been trying to deal with these clowns for a while over a debt they can't prove is mine.
They have breached a SAR amongst other things.
I'm just compiling evidence that will be necessary for a report to the ICO, SRA and FCA about their behaviour.
I just come off the phone with them feeling more frustrated the before as I believe I was communicating with an AI bot named ;Hannah' with the going on and on monotone voice saying the same thing over and over again.
This AI bot, never answered any questions relating to the alleged debt and in the end, had to hang up.
This company actually are bullies and should be brought to book.
I wanted my day in court with these bullies but I have been denied it because they apparently sent court paperwork which I never received.
After this, I'm even thinking that they maybe even NOT be real Solicitors, something I may be looking into but in the meantime, I am compiling evidence about these to report to the ICO, SRA and the FCA plus others.
In case this review is deleted like the last one was, I will be putting it on other various review sites and social media, plus my Youtube channel as these need to be dealt with.
By the way Trustpilot, this is my REAL experience with them.
Absolute joke of a company. They set up a payment plan for an old debt, I agreed to it and paid every installment in full and on time. Paid the last installment last month and direct debit was finished. Have since had emails saying their system did not set up the installments correctly and I now owe another 268. Not only that, they have threatened enforcement action in the first email they have sent me about it, before I have even had a chance to respond,
If they can't set up a simple plan correctly then threaten enforcement action, they need to up their game. Disgusting.

I discovered CCJs created over 6yrs ago in my name for a debt which anyone with an ounce of common sense can see isnt mine and has been created fraudulently but Overdales just want the debt cleared, they won't check facts and can only send generic responses. I've lost hours of my life I'll never get back dealing with these people and have masses of sympathy for anyone who has to deal with them.
The number of reviewers with similar issues is embarrassing but not surprising to me. They have too many errors to sort out and not enough people with the capacity/ability to actually help.
I've amended my original review because they flagged it!! So they do take note of facts when the facts relate to them, its just facts relating to people they're incorrectly accusing of owing debt they ignore ....
