I had great experience at wellness kliniek, the nurses were very friendly and the doctor was also good, I was able to go home about an hour after the surgery, I'm so happy with the results, I only can say thanks to doctor Damen and wellness kliniek team.

I travelled from the U.K. to Belgium to have mybreast augmentation after a great deal of research, but was still apprehensive. But I truly made the right choice!
From initially discussing surgery with the reception team, to the point I left the clinic in Genk I was really pleased with everything.
Firstly the reception team are simply wonderful- Cindy took the time to make me laugh and feel at ease throughout, in particular, but they were all so accommodating and kind.
Dr Taraquois was extremely professional. His no nonsense approach reassured me of his professionalism, and I took his advice on sizing (I wanted 200cc but he advised it wouldn’t look right on my frame, recommending 300cc and he was completely right), and he managed my expectations about post op pain and was very honest about the healing process.
The entire surgical team were excellent as well, with the anaesthetist making me laugh as I was being put under.

I can honestly say that this was the best decision I’ve made for myself. Even after just two months I’m finally happy again with how my body looks, after having two children and losing volume in both of my breasts. All the pain was worth it, and I couldn’t recommend wellness kliniek enough, and friends are so impressed by my surgery’s outcome and my experience that they’re keen to have their breast augmentation there too.

I decided to write this review, as I want to save some of the readers pain, disappointment, tears and another surgery (to which I am preparing).
I had a rhinoplasty almost 1.5 years ago (done by a French " doctor", or a butcher, I cannot call him a doctor, as it would be an insult to other plastic surgeons). I can finally describe the effect, as it is final now.
My nose was a bit bigger, but rather regular. Now it it botched. A nose tip didn't get smaller (it looks kind of potato and my nostrils are totally irregular, one is more triangle and one is round). From whatever angle, it looks like after an accident, rather than a corrective surgery.
AVOID!!! Read other reviews and find yourself a different clinic.

I highly recommend these clinics, the care was great, the nurses were kind and helpful, if very much, they can choose a caregiver, very plastic, certainly practice at this clinic, satisfied with the work done there, I recommend it!

in 2017 i did the galeatomy procedure to prevent further hairloss. I still had a decent amount of hair then.
I'm pretty much bold now and it seems that procedure helps dr. damens sports car collecion more than the clients.

"I had a tummy tuck on Oct 4th by Dr. Damen. After a month a part of the incision had not closed and there was dead tissue. Dr Damen told me it would close eventually. A week later I went again to see him. At this point he tried to aspirate fluid accumulating above the incision. Two days later I had a massive infection. This was a Sunday so I called his personal number provided to me in the case of an emergency. I got an answer machine and left a message. After several hours I called again leaving another message. He never got back to me. My wound was now opened up about 5 cm wide and 15 cm long. I ended up in the emergency of a local hospital. They admitted me the next day where I stayed for 10 days. While cleaning the wound they found several pieces of sutures both internally and externally that had not dissolved after more than a month. I was placed on a VAC machine ( vacuum assisted closure) and massive doses of antibiotics. After 10 days I was sent home with my wound still very much open but infection free. I had to have nurses come 2 times a day to clean the wound and change the bandages. It became infected again after 2 weeks and I ended up back in the hospital for 17 days and back on the VAC machine and antibiotics. I have now been home for 2 1/2 weeks still on the VAC machine. It is now mid January and my wound is still open! I have no idea how much longer I have to stay on this machine. Dr Damen never returned my calls or reached out to me, even once he received the surgeons report of my condition. He got his money and has washed his hands of the situation. I find his attitude disgusting. I spent 27 days total in the hospital and 7 weeks attached to the VAC machine. I am still attached to the VAC and apparently will be for a few more weeks before this nightmare will be over."

Had a diastasis recti repair at the clinic this week. The surgeon Dr Taraquois was professional and efficient. The nurses were amazing before the surgery, and during the aftercare. The anesthetic doctor was very friendly and reassuring. The room was very confortable. Thank you very much to the whole team, it's the second time I have an operation at the Kliniek and both times I have been very impressed.

I went to the Wellness Kliniek in Genk, Belgium twice. Once in 2016 and once in 2021 and both experiences were excellent. Great staff, great doctors, and everything went smoothly. I had blepharoplasty and Gynecomastia surgery. I highly recommend them and also it's in a nice little town with good restaurants and a nice park with a lake.

I had a Breast enlargement on 26/05 with Dr Taraquois, I traveled from the uk, and was slightly apprehensive about having surgery abroad. However I can only say Good things about this clinic, all the members of staff nurses, anaesthetist and surgeon put me completely at ease & were really friendly! There was never a point where I was nervous or concerned. My surgery went really well and I’m aware it’s early days but I’m already so pleased with my results. Please put your trust in this clinic like I did. I have absolutely no regrets about coming to Belgium and would go back here to Wellness Kliniek for further treatments for sure!

I Had surgery at the wellness Kliniek I was introduced by a lovely lady called cindy had my upper and lower eyes done by dr taraquois all the staff where wonderful and I am very happy with the results already considering I only had my surgery done 2 days ago I would like to say a big thankyou to everyone who works at the Kliniek I would recommend anyone who’s thinking of getting surgery done contact them you won’t regret it many thanks to all the staff at the Kliniek

I travelled to Belgium with my husband on the Eurostar to have breast surgery my surgeon was Dr Parys my overall experience was very good despite my apprehension about travelling abroad I found the entire team at the wellness kliniek to be friendly and entirely professional and I was very happy with my results the clinic was completely and scrupulously clean and comfortable. I stayed at hotel ecu which was a 5 minute walk from the clinic, during my consultation everything was explained very clearly on what would be realistically possible and what would not be possible with my procedure to achieve the results I wanted. I did not experience any delay in waiting for the surgery and was taken to theatre at my appointed time when I woke up from surgery my pain was kept to a minimum and I was treated very well I would highly recommend this clinic. I was impressed with the after care a member of the team called me the day after I arrived home to make sure I had arrived safely and to ask if everything was ok It's been 3 weeks since the procedure and I have not experienced any pain or problems and I was able to resume normal activities after the first week. The nurse said: we will start in 30’mins!
At 10:00 still nothing
Went out to ask what has happened ?
The nurse said in 30 mins they will be with me..
At 11’still nothing :(
I went out again...the nurse said that in 30 mins the doctor will be with me
At 12’still nothing

So I’m waiting for hours and nothing
Pls note I was the one asking all the time no one ever came to my waiting room
So I’ve been here for hours and nothing..
At 13:00 I went to ask the nurse what has happend
At this time there was a different nurse who was not friendly
She told me to wait 30mins and be patience
14:00 nothing
15:00 nothing

I felt they were upset with me, they were annoyed I was there
The job was done, fine
But I felt extremely uncomfortable.
Never again.
I give 3 stars because the job was done ok
But the service was absolutely terrible

The nurses at the front desk are nice but the conversation with the doctor was very bad.
He wasn't there.
Has hardly taken the time.
Looked unbalanced to me as if he had private problems. He wasn't friendly either.
Maybe he had a bad day, but for me the impression was very bad.

Would like to start of by saying i would not even score 1 star. My whole experience from start to finish was a shocking disaster. I had breast enlargement done back in 2018 on 25th October, my surgeon was Dr Luc Damen(very rude careless and unproffesionl man)my first consultation he was on phone for 15mins and when ended was not polite enough to say sorry(Rude)it felt like i was the next piece of meat in the butchers from then red alarm bells wer ringing but i thought what could go wrong! so nxt day surgery went well went back to UK straight after. Then 2 weeks later i took bandage off to already see that i was not happy so i called and emailed numerous of times! They told me to wait it takes time and so on...which i did in febuary( as was advised by CINDY a receptionist) i travelled back to try resolve my problems but this was not the case!! Infact what i was goin to face left me devistated of how my surgeon could really treat me and speak to me. He was making excuses sayin about my baby that i have swelling and one of his replys were"i could of put 440cc but whatever" throughout my entire follow up i seen another side of him as i was still taking to him he was walking away from me bare in mind i had just travelled hours from England to Belgium for no resolution on how he could resolve my breasts. I still currently have my own breast tissue overlaplin my breast implant. And also have a large gap between my breasts.I had witnesses at reception to see how devistated i was so they told me to email higher management which i did on 3 ocasions and i have still months on have not heard back from them wich is disgusting how they could really treat patients like this with excuse after excuse saying they have gone on holiday they will be back on so on so date but still do not have contact from management(appauling aftercare). They just do not have a care in the world which is very SAD especailly when you pay money and trust somebodys hands with your body, Terrible and very frustrated. Would not ever recommend this Kliniek or Dr Luc Damen! He has left me stressing everyday about my boobs and very unhappy about myself. Should not have to feel like this i should be Happy. please listen and girls if you do consider going here think twice please please it is not worth the money, you really do pay for what you get and you will not be covered after where as in England you are covered no matter what and you will be happy!! I am currently seeking advice to get a Belgium solicitor to be taking matters further! DISGUSTING VILE COMPANY!

If there were an option for 0 stars I would have opted for 0 stars! Please do not believe and fall for their fake reviews and pretty website promises! They allowed a patient to bleed to death for which the doctor received a 6 month jail sentence and he still is working there! They are all about profit and not about safety or patient care. Check them out by using Google translate and search in Dutch about this patient and others that have suffered due to their lack of due diligence and care! Don't trust the phony positive reviews! Once they have your money there is no aftercare! The CEO even faced prison time at one point and several other employees received suspended sentences. Your life and health are not worth the great risk you take by trusting the Wellness Kliniek and their staff. Avoid at all cost!

I’ve had an appointment with dr Visser in reference to vaginal pain. Came all the way from Poland to have like 5 min appointment, cause doctor seemed to be in hurry.
She didn’t listen to me to the poin that she wrote down a diagnose that wasnt my case- came with vulvodynia muscle pain but she was still talking about vaginismus. I tried to explain my symptoms but she looked as if she didnt get it. Furthermore she didnt carefully explain the procedure to me. I got the impression that she didnt want me to ask any question- just make an appointment, pay and leave.
Unproffesional approach and waste of time and money!
