Been waiting 5 weeks for my refund - I was charged in advance for anaesthesia services but these were not required and I was advised pre-op that the refund would be processed. After waiting 3 weeks and repeated chasing I was told the finance department did not have the correct bank details - nobody ever reached out to advise of this. It has now been a further 2 weeks having ensured bank details were accurate and still no refund. Emails go unanswered. Very disappointing.
I Previously signed documents requesting my medical records and these were never sent to me. Only after 4 months and returning in person to the clinic did I receive a partial record.
Correspondence and communication is very poor

I had a breast implant exchange surgery with Dr. Parys at Wellness Kliniek, and I can only say positive things about my experience. I had my previous breast implant surgery at another clinic two years ago, and I was not happy with the results.

After doing a lot of research, I found Wellness Kliniek online, and within just five minutes of the consultation, I felt that Dr. Parys truly understood what I wanted. He guided me in the right direction with his advice, was very confident, and reassured me that the implant size & type he recommended would give me the results I was hoping for and I am so glad I followed his advice!

The consultation, follow-ups, and pre-surgery information were all excellent and very informative. On the day of the surgery, everything went very smoothly. There was no waiting time, and the staff were extremely friendly, from reception to all the nurses.

Since this was going to be my second surgery, I had a lot of fears, but as for the results, I could not be happier with Dr. Parys’ work. I would definitely recommend Wellness Kliniek to anyone considering breast implant surgery.

Straight from my enquiry & booking, everything was smooth sailing!

I opted for the next day surgery.

Any queries I had in the run up - Cindy would respond via email or call me back within a couple of hours and was always very helpful.

I had a video consultation with my surgeon Dr J Parys and he was very informative and advised me that the in face consultation would be more in depth - which it was!

I went for my in face consultation on the Thursday and my surgery was on the Friday.

The in face consultation with Dr Parys we discussed my current implants, my new implants and size and any questions I had were answered. I was provided with instructions for prior to surgery.

The day of surgery I only waited about 15 minutes in reception before being taken into my private room where I was provided with after care and instructions to get ready for surgery.

Not long after that, a nurse came in and took me upstairs and onto a bed whilst I wait for my lovely anaesthetist’s! (Yana and Dr Van Rhys, they were so friendly and calming!)

What felt like a blink of an eye - I woke up from surgery, then after about 10/15 minutes of being monitored I was wheeled back to my private room where I could start to feel more human, I was provided food and drink and painkillers and made sure I was okay to leave in my own time. When I was ready to leave I was provided further aftercare advice and paperwork to read when I got home.

I am now 4 days post op and I can safely say I would highly recommend the Wellness Kliniek and Dr J Parys!

I know I still have a long road of recovery ahead, but as this isn’t my first time I can safely say I am very happy with the results so far!

I cannot recommend this clinic enough, beyond delighted and impressed!

I visited Wellness Kliniek from the UK last week for a Breast Augmentation with a mini lift with Dr Cromheeke. Even before I arrived at the clinic, I had a video consultation with Dr Cromheecke who was so warm and lovely - went through medical history and what I wanted. Not that it should matter but it really put my mind at ease having a female surgeon too!

My partner and I arrived the day before my surgery and stayed at Stiermiede Golf Resort which was a beautiful hotel and would highly recommend if you’re travelling for your surgery, visited the clinic for my pre-op consult and tried on a few sizes and met with Dr Cromheecke in person. Clinic was very clean and modern and had a pleasant waiting area, all reception staff were so friendly - everyone spoke perfect English.

Arrived on the day of my surgery at 8:15am (I had requested the earliest surgery slot the week before as we were driving back to the UK the same day and they very kindly accommodated my request) was shown to my private room and asked to change to surgery gown and hair net, was then taken down to the theatre where Dr Cromheecke drew me up and the nurses prepped me for surgery (this was all done within around 20/30 mins of being there so waiting around and getting anxiety!) - I’d never had any kind of surgery or general anaesthetic before and was so nervous but the kind nurses made me feel so at ease and were chatting away to me about our pets etc. until the anaesthesiologist came in and talked me through being put to sleep and double checked my medical record with me - he also kindly gave me extra nausea medication as I was worried about feeling sick on the ride home after. He then told me I was all ready to go and that I was going to have a nice nap and he’d see me soon.

Woke up in a nice clean ward about 2 hours later, the nurses are so lovely and gentle they’d wrapped me in a super soft blanket and even put a tube blowing warm air up into the blanket so I was extra cosy - it was just a really sweet touch! They kept me there for about half an hour and my surgeon popped in to say surgery went really well and that I could go home as soon as I felt up to it. Nurses then took me to my private room to wake up a bit more, they brought me some lunch and gave me an extra painkiller and a top up of my nausea meds. They helped dress me and brought me a bag containing my post-op medication prescription and my implant authentication card etc. they then helped me downstairs where my partner picked me up.

We drove the 5 hours back to England with absolutely minimal pain and no hassle at all (was really worried about this part in case the surgery didn’t go well or if I had a bad reaction to the meds) I was totally fine and was home in my own bed by 8pm that night after we left the clinic at 2:30pm.

First 3 days recovery were painful and uncomfortable but only in the way I had expected as I went under the muscle. Changed into my post-op bra on day 4 post op and got a glimpse of my new breasts - although still very fresh im so happy with how they look and am so glad I went with Wellness Kliniek! Now one week post op and feeling great 😊

Would recommend Wellness Kliniek to anyone thinking of travelling for surgery - truly was a 5 star experience from everyone from my surgeon to the receptionists and the results are even better!

I am sharing this review because I do not want anyone else to go through what I have had to live with. It has taken me years to find the strength to write this review because for a long time the shame and embarrassment were overwhelming. But I will not stay silent anymore. I am sharing my experience publicly to hopefully save someone else from making the same mistake.

I had liposuction performed at Wellness Kliniek in 2018 on two areas: my stomach and flanks. These were stubborn areas that held onto fat no matter how much I trained. I lift weights and run 3 to 4 times a week and after a lot of thought I decided to go through with the procedure to help with my body confidence.

My experience with Wellness Kliniek was nothing short of awful from the start. The consultation with Dr Jean Michel Elie Hassan was critical and unkind. Rather than showing any understanding or professionalism he stood there pointing out additional "problems" with my body as I stood in front of him vulnerable and trusting. It felt less like medical advice and more like being picked apart. I do not know if it was because I was a man in my late twenties and not the stereotypical patient they post online I definitely felt treated as if my case mattered less.

After the surgery things went from bad to worse. I was fitted with the wrong compression garment, an absolutely critical part of post operative healing. I knew something was not right immediately. I was in significant pain but when I returned the following day to raise my concerns I was brushed off. They eventually swapped the garment which by its self was a painful experience which was humiliating and agonising.

The final results have been devastating. I was left with extremely uneven and distorted results with a lopsided silhouette, a far cry from the "improved body contour" I was promised. No matter how much I train, and I work harder than most, I cannot undo the damage caused.

My mental health, which was already fragile, plummeted even further. I spent years blaming myself, feeling ashamed for having spent so much money, traveled to another country, and put my trust into a clinic that so clearly did not care. I convinced myself I could "fix" it through hard work but uneven fat removal cannot be corrected with diet or exercise.

Wellness Kliniek failed me.

I’d like to give a very special and warm thank you to the staff and Dr. D Van Zele. I am 100% recovered from the surgery and already back to work and feeling the best version of myself again! I was well equipped with information and was given time to think and decide. I followed keenly with medication and rested as I was required and the results are just beautiful. Wellness Kliniek is such a warm place and you can be certain that you will taken care of by friendly and professional nurses. Hugely appreciate you all for your service.

This is my second bad review! Just to give you a short summary. I had a tummy tuck at the wellness kliniek 2023, and my surgeon Dr. Damen passed away shortly after. He instructed me to come back in 2024 if I I have any issues. I went back in 2024 and saw Dr. Visser and she told me that the if I basically want my dog ears fixed I should pay an additional amount. I was treated very poorly and couldn’t comprehend half of what she was saying.

I wrote a review and was contacted by the kliniek again and given a new appointment with a new surgeon to plea my case - that this fall under a correction and not a new addition.

However this appointment was scheduled for February 2025 and I was willing to wait it out. A day before the appointment it was canceled and I also received a call from them to apologize. I then received an email requesting new photos and told that another surgeon wanted to look into my case.

This was two months ago, I have emailed them numerous times and I am just being ignored.

I hope you think twice before you embark on this journey with the wellness kliniek, you will be left in dispair.

From start to finish, the process of my breast augmentation went smoothly. I highly recommend Dr. D. Van Zele, he done my sisters & cousin. This is why I travelled from Northern Ireland to Belgium, because Iknow I was in good hands. He rest assured me everything was ok, there was no pressure whatsoever, he came to visit me before my surgery & after surgery. After surgery all the nurse was lovely, made me feel so comfortable! Thank you! I’m on day 6 everything is healing great, I’m very happy with it. I highly recommend wellness Kliniek, Iknow it might be scary going to another county to get surgery but honestly your in good hands.

I had blepharoplasty at the Wellness klinic 10 days ago. Doctor Taraquois performed my surgery by local anaesthesia.
The whole experience was easy, straightforward and everything you would expect and hope for.
I an absolutely thrilled with the result of my surgery already. I would 100% recommend.

I visited the wellness klinek in Belgium for a tummy tuck. From the moment I had my consultation I was filled with confidence and was reassured I was in the right hands. My surgeon was Dr Taraquois. I am only a few days post op but wow he made sure my lipo was hidden by the incision and I am so so happy with his work.
Being English I was worried there would be some problems with communication but no, everyone speaks perfect English answered every single question I had. Maria and Jessica who looked after me in my private room while recovering were amazing and so kind and helpful I am so grateful would 100% recommend and I would definitely attend again for another treatment.

Some type of scam took my 30.00 euros for a consultation by phone, there was no consultation no email nothing then today they sent me a message saying I did not turn up for the consultation and I am not getting a refund, a nice way of scamming money from people and now they are not answering the phone or emails to me so I am 30.00 euros poorer, managed to contact them and they said I did not turn up for my telephone consultation I was supposed to travel to Belgium even though it was a telephone consultation as I am in England!! So I finally spoke to someone and managed to make another appointment, and as soon as I got off the phone to them they emailed me saying they now cant do the date they gave me just minutes earlier, so now I am holding on the phone again despite emailing them and again getting no reply to try to get my 30.00 euros back. Please do not give these people your time or money. ITS A SCAM

I ve had at Dr.Taraquis a breast augmentation, I am verry happy! Everybody was verry polite and cute,thank you all!! I recomand Wellness Klinik to Everybody!!!!

I had an implant replacement and mini uplift on 17th July 2024 and so far I’m really pleased with the results. The clinic is clean and modern and the nurses are very friendly and just really nice people. My surgery was performed by Dr Cromheeke, a female surgeon which I was also happy about.

I travelled to wellness kliniek on the le shuttle, experience was 10/10 all the way throughout I had a boob job by dr Taraquois and I couldn’t be happier with my surgery from start to finish! I cannot recommend this surgery and surgeon enough!

On 2 January I booked an appointment with Dr Vleugels for 12 January. I had to pay 50€ in advance. Today, 4 January I cancelled the appointment and expected to be reimbursed but was told that I wouldn’t be. This is a shameful practice and probably illegal. Clinic to avoid! They are too big for their boots.

It is now 2 months since my breast augmentation surgery at Wellness Kliniek Belgium. I wanted to wait until I was fully healed before posting a review of my experience.

I was very nervous about travelling to Belgium (from the UK) to have my surgery, but the positive reviews for the clinic and the lower cost persuaded me to included them amongst the 4 clincs I had consulations with. I decided that I would get a feel for the clinic and meet Dr Taraquois for the consultation and if I was not completely comfortable, I would not go ahead with surgery.

When I arrived at the clinic I was immediately impressed! The clinic feels modern, warm and welcoming. The first part of the reception area has tablets for you to ckeck-in. I started the check-in process but was immediately approached by one of the lovely staff to ask if I needed any help. I then completed some quick formalities and was shown to the huge and comfortable waiting room. Dr Taraquois was very professional and the consulation was fairly quick as we were on the same page as to the procedure and the size of implant I would have. My surgery the following day was confirmed and on the day I arrived around 9. All the staff are truly exceptional and my nerves melted away. Within an hour or so I was in theater and the post-surgery care in a lovely room was excellent. The post-care instructions are difficult to take in but everything is provided in a folder for you to go over later.

My recovery was by no means easy. As with any surgery, we get so worked up about the operation when in fact, it is the recovery that is far more difficult. I had severe pain in my right breast and I did reach out to Dr Taraquois via WhatsApp. He was reassuring and bit by bit I recovered, despite developing a small infection that needed a week of Penicillin. I am delighted with the result and I want to make special mention of the neatness of the incision scars which are only 3cm long.

I have no hesitation in giving Wellness Kliniek Belgium my recommendation and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Dr Taraquois and all the wonderful staff that looked after me so well.

Amazing experience -So very happy ! Kind and considerate staff ..No question too small for them -Aftercare nurses were brilliant ! Highly recommended ....
