Just one major problem

Just one major problem - bought latest model of microwave with air fryer-- a rather complex machine with many programmes -- reads well in adverts but -- no operating manual supplied with this £375 machine . How on earth does an 89yr old get to grips with this - very little computer knowledge and terrified of not being safe. Tried all avenues so far without success! I find it inconceivable that a product like this can be sold without instructions. Can anyone help -??

Panasonic air conditioning unit DO NOT TOUCH!!!

Panasonic air conditioning unit!

Poor, poor, poor…we paid a lot of money for this unit, which has needed two new parts which cost close to £2000 and still not working!
We will be replacing this unit with a decent brand which Panasonic are not, and will definitely be steering well away from buying anything related to Panasonic again!!!
Poor, poor, poor!!!

What a palaver!

I rang customer service for an update on delivery, as I had not heard anything. That was a mistake, as CS knew no more than me!

I’ve given 4 stars, as the item is now out for delivery. So, there was no real issue. Even so, it took the best part of half an hour to get nowhere with CS. A waste of both their time and mine.

My breadmaker is a nightmare now

My breadmaker is a nightmare now, I complained to Panasonic and they just strung me around and never did nothing. I am disabled and they blamed me for not my ingredients in properly but I said I use pre packed bread mix so I have so it's pre mixed. I told them the breadmaker is needed to aid me for my disabilitys.
Dont buy from Panasonic they won't hold their support pledge up

Shameful and misleading charging display on ER-DGP84! Saved only by AI

I purchased the Panasonic ER-DGP84 clipper for nearly £180. While the motor is powerful, the engineering and charging display design are absolutely shameful and misleading. The front panel features two identical slots, leading any customer to naturally expect a red light during charging and a green light when completed. Since I never saw a green light, I genuinely thought the device was faulty and was actively writing a return letter to send it back.By complete coincidence, my iPhone's AI assistant double-checked the official technical manual for me and stopped me, explaining that the top slot is just a fake printed icon for show, and the red light simply turns off when fully charged. It is unacceptable that a famous global brand like Panasonic creates such an anti-consumer experience on a premium item, to the point that a customer needs Artificial Intelligence to figure out the product isn't actually broken.Furthermore, these import models are being sold in the UK with European/Italian plugs, forcing customers to waste time and money buying separate adapters just to turn them on. Panasonic needs to fix this terrible design logic immediately. 1 star for the ridiculous stress caused to honest customers

Panasonic wants £108–£144 to inspect a £98.99 bread maker

Order number: PS7435105-1783688676

I bought the Panasonic SD-PN100 bread maker for £98.99. On only the second day of use, the dough overflowed inside the machine. I contacted Panasonic support immediately because I wanted to arrange professional cleaning and was fully prepared to pay for it.

Instead of giving me a clear solution, support kept me answering pointless questions for around 90 minutes, supposedly to “collect information”. They then informed me that the issue was not covered by the warranty. This was completely irrelevant because I had never demanded a free warranty repair. I repeatedly explained that I simply wanted the machine cleaned and was willing to pay.

Panasonic then referred me to a service centre on the other side of London. After waiting three days for a response, I was finally told:

“The call-out charge will be £144 (non-refundable), in addition to the cost of any parts required for the repair.”

Or, if I transport the machine to their workshop myself:

“The inspection and labour charge will be £108 (non-refundable), plus the price of any parts needed for the repair.”

Let that sink in: the bread maker cost £98.99, but Panasonic’s authorised service wants £108 merely to inspect it — before charging for any parts. A home visit would cost £144, almost 50% more than the entire appliance.

So after buying a brand-new Panasonic product, using it for two days and immediately asking for paid assistance, the “solution” offered was to charge me more than the full price of the machine just to inspect or clean it.

This is not customer service. It is a system designed to make repair economically pointless and push customers into throwing away almost-new appliances. The support process wasted my time, ignored what I was actually asking for, and ended with a completely absurd quotation.

Why sell a bread maker for £98.99 when your authorised service charges £108–£144 before even carrying out the work? Absolutely disgraceful after-sales support.

Panasonic are liars

Rang Panasonic about a microwave that had been supplied with a part missing. They told me I would have to pay to buy the missing part….totally ignoring the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Have always bought Panasonic products but this will be the last…..

Tried to write to their customer service on the official e-mail but this was rejected because there was no incident number which of course they would not give so you are stuffed. Please twice before buying Panasonic

Panasonic NN-CD58RS microwave.

Panasonic NN-CD58RS microwave.

An appliance which ticked all the boxes .

2 issues which need to be resolved by the manufacturer.

1 First machine the front left foot did not reach the countertop. Result a severe wobble. Microwave returned to dealer.
2 Second machine same as first, but not as severe. Machine kept how many machines can be returned, until you get the machine paid for "no faults"

Full user guide no longer available on web site as directed to. Contact Panasonic direct and they will guide to the page for the user guide.

If this is the best Panasonic can do, time to use other suppliers of electrical equipment, who know how to make there own products work, and not leave it to the customer to sort out there problems for them.

Worst TV I've ever own

Worst TV I've ever own. The TV lags and bugs so bad it's pretty much unusable. Their customer service is useless and does not want to help. They do not want to take responsibility and direct you to a third party for repair and expect you to cover the cost. It used to be a good brand, shame they couldn't keep up. I definitely would not recommend and you'll never catch me buying Panasonic again. Stick to companies that care about their customers and actual resolve issues, not a company that don't care about taking your money and leaving you with a defective product. What a disgrace of a company and terrible products.

We had a Panasonic air conditioner…

We had a Panasonic air conditioner fitted, from day one it just switched itself off for no reason. To restart means going outside turning the power off, waiting a minute and turning it back on. We have taken temperature readings with a data logger and provided them to the supplier to prove what is happening, he has sent the data to Panasonic uk who basically are not interested, there is no reaction, no feedback, no update. Conclusion we will have to take out and throw away what should be s perfectly good air conditioner when we fit A/C to other rooms later this year. The replacement won’t be Panasonic that’s for sure. Poor quality product and non existent customer service.

Air Conditioning let down!!

Air Conditioning - After installing their systems for over 20 years I've decided to ban them for a couple of years now as the Yorkshire sales representative won't answer his phone. I know they have sold out of systems and been unprepared for the heatwave but to not even answer their phones is pretty sad.
Wont even reply to answerphone messages.
Back to Mitsubishi Electric who always answers their phones.

Panasonic and warranty are far worse to…

Panasonic and warranty are far worse to deal with, I have more pushback than all warranty issues combined I've had my entire life, even after they finally sent an engineer round to confirm the issue after months of back and forth and threats of trade and standards, the engineer confirms its 100% a warranty issue, its still a problem, the are reluctant to deal with, the product has still yet to be collected to be repaired or replaced.. will never in my life ever again get a Panasonic product even if its quarter the price of any other equivalent. Its just not worth the time and effort if it goes faulty.
What a nightmare.

Untrustworthy Rubbish

I bought a 4-in-1 combo oven NN-CD88QSBPQ in February last year for £380. It has already broken down. Terrible quality. I won’t buy anything from Panasonic again. The “support” Panasonic offered was terrible.

Purchasedshaver 6 months ago it had no cleaning brush. For past 6 months I have had so many excuses why it hasn’t been replaced. Finally today they said one would be posted out to me. Suggested that in view of the delay they might consider sending two brushes. This was rejected by the company

Avoid panasonic UK - Use Amazon UK for Peace of mind

After a great deal of research for a combination microwave I narrowed it down to a Panasonic NN-CT56. I read the manual on line from a Panasonic UK website and confirmed that it had full manual control over both temp and micro power in combi mode. I engaged with Panasonic UK regarding this appliance and checked to ensure it had separate heating elements. I then ordered the item. I was shown a low quality photo to confirm what appeared to be an identical appliance NN-CT56RBBPQ. you would have to be able to read the button labels to spot any differences.
On arrival I find that this appliance does not have full manual control and is an updated version of the NN-CT56JB. How was I, or any customer, to know?
The full manual control is a dealbreaker and I requested a return in exchange for the NN-CT56JB. Of course they don't have any in stock, possibly discontinued.
Panasonic UK are however expecting me to pay for the return of an item that is materially different to the one I was expecting.
The lesson is always buy from Amazon and avoid Panasonic UK like the plague.
