Really good website to apply early for houses, very helpful. The interface could be a bit more intuitive

Stekkies is perfect for finding listings instantly to help you win the "fastest finger" game. However, redirecting to external agency sites to constantly recreate accounts and re-enter your info is a hassle.

I found my soon to be house from stekkies in a single month of usage.

I dont like the fact that stekkies doesnt filter that well for some housing websites. There are amateur mistakes being made for such a business thats all about housing. But it did its job for me.

I was able to find my housing through stekkies but unlike what my friends told me I had to pay of another website for getting the house so beware of that otherwise the early notifications are great from them

Stekkies is a very good services. Lots of matches were found, but none that was suitable for my particular situation unfortunately. Wageningen is also a difficult place where to find house as many house just go by mouth word. With the summer I gave up my moving plan. I'll consider subscribing again September.

In such a competitive housing market as Amsterdam, Stekkies made it much more manageable for people to search for and apply for houses. The customized searches and tags, like "income requirement," helped tailor search results for different audience groups. Even though I haven't been able to secure a place with Stekkies due to a change in personal plans, I'm positive that when I'm back, I'll be able to find a place on my own with Stekkies.

Helpful for browsing and applying first for rental offers, which is crucial in this very competitive housing market. But keep in mind that there are many websites that ask for additional payment to respond to properties.

Used Stekkies over about six weeks searching for a rental in Leiden as an incoming student. The core value is real: it pulls listings from Pararius, Funda, Huurwoningen and various direct agency sites into one alert feed, which saved a lot of manual checking across platforms. Do note that it doesn't aggregate Kamernet (to my knowledge). Some listings from paid source sites show up locked unless you subscribe to that platform directly.

Otherwise the alert speed and filtering were solid, and it was the backbone of how I found and tracked properties day to day.

The filters don't really work. I was specifically looking for a furnished place, and used it as a filter, yet I kept getting offers of the houses and apartments with no floors, let alone the furniture. I understand, that my search was quite specific, but for me using Stekkies was absolutely useless, and simply searching through funda (for free) gave much better results and a nice house in the end.

The website works very well, you receive notifications immediately and hence your chances for getting invited to viewings increase. I did not find an apartment via Stekkies, however thanks to Stekkies I was invited to more viewings.
